THE LITTLE 1.2 DOHC ENGINE IS STRONG BUT MITUSBISHI SHOULD HAVE PUT A STANDARD TURBO ON THIS ENGINE,, THATS WHY MITSUBISHI MADE THE 3A92 MIVEC ENGINE.. HIGHLY DURABLE & STRONG .. NO PROBLEM ON THE HIGHWAY OR THE TAKE OFF FROM A STREET LIGHT. THE TRANSMISSION IS ALSO GOOD.. CVT.. NEVER CRAZY ABOUT CVT ... BUT THIS TRANSMISSION IS OK.. CAR HANDLES IN SNOW.. RAIN,, RUNS WELL.. PERFORMANCE IS THE BEST OF THE SUB COMPACT CARS AND EVEN LARGER 4 D SEDANS,, THE MIRAGE IS ROOMY INSIDE ALSO. IVE HAD 6 FOOT 4 FREINDS IN THE CAR . THEY WERE SHOCKED .. LOL... Versatile and reliable wheels with some nice options! Automatic climate control, heated seats, adjustable lumbar support for the driver, power windows, tilt, power steering. With about 135,000 miles on the odometer now, I am super happy with "The Mits" as we call it.

We purchased our Mitsubishi used a year ago and have been quite pleased darting around Los Angeles with this small car. As small as it is, it's quite comfortable, even roomy, inside. Runs well. Highly recommend for older folks like us who don't do a lot of long-range driving.

Gas mileage 50 mpg. So easy to drive especially at night. Bright lights could be brighter though. Excellent speakers. Hard to see screen when sun is shining on it. But perfect at night.

I owned a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage Hatchback Rockford Fosgate edition that got 40+ mpg in the city and up to 50+ mpg on the interstate. That car was totalled in a wreck 2 weeks ago, I was hit from behind by a large pickup truck. I am now driving a 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage ES Hatchback and it is just as good. I give it a 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍

Today, I purchased a Nissan Ariya at Auto Boutique. My salesperson was Lou Walker. Lou was great. He was knowledgeable, patient, professional and courteous. Unlike most used car salesmen, Lou was not pushy. He gave me the information that I needed to evaluate the cars of interest to me and the time to process the information. This was my first purchase at Auto Boutique and Lou made it very pleasant and stress-free. If you need a car, Lou is your guy!

Was looking for a basic hatchback with good gas mileage that wasn't stupid expensive. Commute to work and so far combined I get 42mpg. Rides as good as any car I have owned (with one exception). Performance wise have no idea how old the reviewers are or even if they actually drove the car as it has no problem on the highway or in town driving, rarely do I exceed 4,000rpm to keep up with or ahead of traffic. It's like people don't remember how cars were in the past before the horsepower race to cram 250-350hp engines into everything. In town it's 0-30 that matters but even the 0-60 of 10.4 sec is equal to or better than most small cars from the 70's-90's. Only car I owned that was faster was my '73 Jaguar XJ12. Almost identical 0-60 were my CRX, Opel GT, 200sx. My Triumph Spitfire was way slower. But they were all fun cars to drive.

This car is great for a first car! I’ve gotten this car as 16 year old brand new in 2015. Since then I had many oil changes and tire rotations. I use this car for transportation of friends and family, going to work and school. As of today I have over 200,000+ miles on this and it is still going strong. With me getting around 39-45mpg every day. (Back when gas was under a dollar I only paid $7 for a fill up. Now it’s $20 so definitely worth it instead of paying $40-$80 per fill up.) The only issue I have with it is the check engine light is on and doing diagnostics it has emissions issues with a small leak. The inside you get a basic radio I suggest getting a Bluetooth audio receiver so you can listen to your own music on your phone. Driving at night is one of the worst things in this car. You get blinded every time you go past a car in the opposite lanes. Also the cloth seats are amazing your xxx is never frozen compared to a leather seat.

Sales department was friendly and up front, didn’t give off the scummy vibe some car salesmen have. Finance was a whole other story, despite buying my 4Runner a few weeks ago I’m still thinking about the weird interaction. Jonathan Farris was extremely pushy on a warranty despite it being declined multiple times, I don’t need one for my brand new Toyota they’re never worth it in my opinion. He started friendly enough but after officially declining the warranty his demeanor changed and made it seem like I was a bother to even be in the same room as him. Very off putting interaction and it’s unfortunate because like I said the sales team was pleasant to deal with but the last process of buying the car left a sour taste in my mouth. Avoid Jonathan if you can, he entered information incorrectly and had I not caught it would have ended up paying several thousand more in interest and he will try to screw you on a warranty, when he learns he can’t screw you he’ll ruin an otherwise special day.

In 2016 we bought our first brand new Mitsubishi Mirage. Our daughter was helping us move and was driving our new car, when suddenly she was hit on the passenger side by a drunk driver. The safety features of the Mitsubishi Mirage thankfully saved her. With the insurance money and the Gap Insurance, needless to say we bought another brand new Mitsubishi Mirage! Then our daughter, her husband moved to Missouri! They were planning to come for Christmas and the 4 seater Mirage wouldn’t work, so we bought a 7 seater Mitsubishi Outlander. Since they didn’t come and do to finances wouldn’t be able to come we decided to down grade to a new 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. While driving on the highway I hit something (even though I didn’t see it) that flattened three tires and one of the rims. The way the the SUV is made, I had no trouble pulling over to the side of the road. In fact I thought I only had one flat tire until we were towed to a tire shop and that’s when we found out how bad it was. They figured because it had rained the night before, that the water covered a pothole and that’s what I hit! They said we were lucky to be alive and nothing else was wrong with the car! Well being that my husband is sight impaired and I now have arthritis in my right hip and left knee. Getting in the SUV even with a step was a challenge! So after 4 years we traded it in for a brand new 2022 Mirage LE! These aren’t fancy inside but they have good features. Even the 2022 with its small 3 cylinder engine, has very good pickup and does very well going up hills, without to much trouble.,All Mitsubishi vehicles get great gas mileage and a wonderful warranty! I’ve never understood the bad reviews because we’ve been very happy with the vehicles we’ve had!

My husband was very impressed with him, upselling, and he talked my husband into a very good deal. My husband is very happy about the upgrade. Hold on to him and if possible, give him a well-deserved raise, a some type of bonus and recognition. I'm a recruiter, 23 years, and I look for people with this distinctive quality of customer service, which is very hard to find. Take care of your people. Went to buy a used car for under $10,000 in 2016. Ended up with a new Mirage. It was a wonderful car. A year later bought a new one for $10,000 again for a daughter to drive to school .A year later bought a another new one for $10,000 for a daughter starting school. Loved having new cars and the gas mileage is outstanding for around town. One daughter sold her car for $10,400 after graduating. These are the best cars for the price. Still have two and when I need another for my 3rd daughter I will buy another Mirage.

If you are looking for a cheap car just to get the route from A to B point - this one is perfect for that. Not for families with children, not for parties. Good like a first car. Really small (probably one of the smallest cars that I've ever seen before). This fits 4 adults or 3 adults + 2 children (not on the child boosters \ seats). Or 2 adults and 2 children in child seats. Almost zero room for the luggage. Pretty good for gas - it's worst than hybrid cars but better than many other gas cars. On average about 30 mpg in the city for us. So in our new world with the highest rates on the gas - it's a good idea to buy cars like that just for daily job rides. Exactly at our Mirage, we have some noises on time of braking uses. It starts right after the purchase of this car. Nothing extra in our first 3-month use. So 4 from 5 for a good gas using but ugly design inside.
