2026 GMC Sierra 1500 review
This is my first GMC and I absolutely love my Sierra 1500 Elevation. The 5.3L v8 is more than enough to pull my camper, I love the stylish interior and it is comfortable to drive. I also felt with the financing and discount specials this was a great deal.

2026 GMC Sierra 1500 review
A little expensive, but comfortable, quiet, smooth ride. Great performance out of the 6.2L and better than expected fuel economy in the low 20s. Outstanding interior and good looking exterior, especially in the Downpour Metallic color. I don’t have 700 miles on it yet and have owned it for 3 weeks. Therefore, I can’t pass judgement yet on the reliability, but so far I am very satisfied. This replaced an 8 year old Ford F150 that served me quite well with only a couple of issues in the 100,000 plus miles.

2026 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I bought the AT 4 version. Loaded. Has good ground clearance. It's powered with a 3.0 l turbocharged diesel. Has lots of horsepower and torque. I've had no problem but I talked to my friend who's a certified mechanic and they're having a lot of problems with the engine blowing up at very low mileage. A lot of the time less than 15,000. Some of them have problems with the thrust bearings failing causing increased crankshaft play back and forth to the point where the timing chain and the rubber belt that runs the oil pump can fail. The engine has been described as grenading. They're basically self-destructs. There's a specific power code that indicates low oil pressure and allowed rattle sound before it finally fails. I heard that the engines were on back order, so if you're one of the unfortunates you can plan on waiting 10 or 12 weeks or longer to get your truck back. They have to remove the cab completely to swap motors. But overall I love the truck. It's a big improvement over the 2022 I just traded in.

2026 Chevrolet Equinox review
The Equinox is a nice SUV, that can be fully loaded and still not break the bank. My Equinox has full power, A/C & heated seats, sunroof with a fully, customizable, large display panel. The rear seats are also heated and comfortable to ride in with plenty of room. The heated steering wheel wraps up the luxury. The engine is a little anemic with a 1.5l turbo and FWD with the CVT transmission. With one person, it is okay, but as you add people, the engine bogs down. However, the mpg whether loaded or not are fantastic with my average of 26mpg consistently. The ride is very comfortable and it competes with many luxury brands for comfort and ride. The design and sleek front end make it a very attractive drive. I would say that if you are looking for a fully appointed vehicle in the crossover size SUVs that won’t break the bank, check out the Equinox. 2026 Cadillac CT4-V review
So far, so good. My only real gripe is that a few interior details don’t feel as premium as they should, things like the sun visor, the lining inside the center console, and a couple other trim pieces. Weirdly, my 2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited has better lining materials and some more “premium” finishes than the CT4-V does in a few spots. That said, the seats are excellent, the climate controls are very good, and the infotainment is great, although it’s smaller than more modern cars, but I’ve found it’s perfect for this car, at least for me. Overall, it’s genuinely one of the most fun road cars I’ve ever driven. Passengers? Who needs them! The back seats are kinda just for show, so if you’re shopping for a family car or people carrier, this isn’t it. But if you want something that feels luxury (mostly), quick, and fun, this is a great vehicle. I also wouldn’t recommend the lower trims. I drove them all before deciding, and the V or Blackwing seemed the most worth the money. Bottom line, even with a few less-luxurious interior details, when I compared it to Mercedes, BMW, and other compact similarly spec'd luxury performance sedans, I couldn’t find anything that could compete for the price. I just wish they made this exact car in an electric because Cadillac electric cars are ugly AF.
