2026 Toyota Camry review
• Hybrid system works well - very smooth acceleration and braking. Frequently runs in pure electric mode with motor off. • Wireless CarPlay connects well and I’m able to use Google Maps on the vehicle display. • Vehicle range doesn’t seem as good as expected – only been through one tank of gas but got just over 630 km out of a full tank (all city driving). • When I start the car there’s an annoying Toyota safety/warning message on the vehicle display that stays on for too long and prevents me from getting to the map right away. • Having the radio station selection on the map display is a bad idea - searching for stations takes your eyes off the road too long. A separate radio control panel with physical buttons would be better. • The fake leather seats on this 2026 Camry SE are rather slippery/cold, and I wonder how long they will last – I’d much preferred all cloth seats. • Oddball interior styling has this large, fabric covered flange coming out of the dashboard between the passenger and the center console. It seems to serve no purpose and it will likely get very dirty in a hurry. • There is an annoying rear seat passenger seatbelt warning every time you start the car. I had to connect all the rear seatbelts to get it to stop. • There is a tiny cargo net in the trunk but no hooks high on the side to secure grocery bags etc. • The vehicle remote is huge and uncomfortable in my pocket – about half the size would’ve been reasonable.

we have owned this car for about 18 months. We get about 49.7 mpg i saw other reviews that gave a value rating of 4 out of 5. Name me one car that gets this good gas milage, and the most reliable hybrid system available and holds its value 5, 10, 15 and 20 years better than a Camry!!

He took it upon himself to go through vehicles that they had just purchased from folks and weren’t even in inventory yet. By a stroke of luck they had just gotten in the perfect vehicle. An absolute pleasure to work with in an industry that seems to be dominated by less than helpful people. He even picked me up from dropping off my rental car since I had driven 5 hours from Las Cruces, now THAT is stellar customer service. He is newer and doesn’t show up in the employee list on this site, but don’t let that fool you - he knows what he’s doing and does it well. They tacked on nothing to the price, and we’re incredibly respectful in making sure we could get something in my budget. They ensured the vehicle was ready to go and even helped set up recalls and service at another dealership they did not have the parts for. (Nothing major in terms of the recalls) The finance manager, Richard Ashton, even took it upon himself to somehow sweeten the deal and keep it more in my budget. This dealership is of the highest quality, and I would recommend working with Jason Grady (and Lithia Toyota of Odessa overall) to anyone who wants excellent service from a group of great people. They set the bar very high for buying a vehicle. I can’t say enough good things.
