This car is a 25 year old new car. We have owned it since buying it new. We have complete service records. It has a new engine with 1200 miles on it and a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty.

The car was great. I used it mostly for work, I also let my kids use it. My son used it for his high school and then he upgraded his vehicle, when I bought a new one.

This has been a solid and reliable car for 20 years! If Nissan offered a Maxima today with a regular automatic transmission I would eagerly purchase one, but not with a CVT. I only drive 3400 miles per year but I have experienced problems that you would expect on a much higher mileage car. Two oxygen sensors failed at 28000 miles; the radiator cracked at 33000 miles; the passenger side front strut failed at 37000 miles; there is currently an oil leak the dealer can't locate; and the radiator lower support has been rusted out since about 2004. Despite the continuing maintenance issues I still love this car and its styling and performance.

Thank you RYAN for a great experience getting my diesel ram fixed right! I came in thinking my clunking was coming from driveshaft U-Joints , But Ryan and his team were able to quickly get me in and properly diagnose and replace my front axle U-joints. While in there they also found one of the lugnuts I had repaired myself (incorrectly, thanks for the wrong part Oreilles!) and replaced it with the correct one. The wait wasn't too bad with the comfy and spacious waiting area, especially with the complimentary drinks and snacks on hand. I was always a fan of the 5th generation especially the 02/03 models I had a 2000 many years ago and it was great I just got a 2002 se about a month ago with only 128k miles!!!! That’s low considering it’s almost 23 years old it still rides fantastic and the power is very impressive even by todays standards gas mileage is decent it has aged just a bit but still modern enough to not feel super old I definitely recommend this car if you can find one in good shape

just inherited this car with 39,000 miles on it in excellent shape as it has always been garage kept and had regular maintenance. My original plan was to just sell it rather than to have an extra car. Now I think I will sell a different car and keep this one as my day to day driver. I have found it to be very comfortable to drive and at the rate I drive (12,000 miles a year) I think I can keep this one for 5 or 6 more years. The only thing I miss is a back up camera that I have in my newer vehicle.

I just had my 2009 Subaru Forester finally give out on me and I loved that car so much. It was very reliable and comfortable but I got a 2008 SL Maxima with only $159,000 miles on it for $3,500 out the door and I absolutely love it. I had a 2000 SE Maxima years ago and loved it but I wrecked it and totaled it and they said it was a salvaged title it never had any issues tho prior to my carelessness. So now having my second one I can say this is most definitely my favorite car. It’s like the perfect mixture of sporty and classy. Big enough for a family and small enough for one to drive and not feel like it’s too much. I love having a V6 engine over a 4 cylinder too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Best VQ engine, adaptability to mods, rides smooth, good torque, great engine power. If you have this car fully loaded it’s one of the best vehicles to own. The only thing that sucks about these cars is the transmission ends up slipping on these models after 100k miles.

I've had my nissan maxima ls for 18 years. Sure I've had to replace and repair under the hood but that comes from the 184000 miles I've driven it.

I've loved these cats since they debuted in late 2003. I finally found a used 04, granted high mileage (215000). It now has been 3 years, now 285000 and with regular maintenance, original engine and transmission, it's never failed me. It looks like thr day it rolled off the production line, and if financially feasible, if the engine or trans does fail, I'll replace it and keep driving Mr.Max. love this car.

345,000 miles and running strong. Original owner since Feb 2005. Only thing I don't like is the wide turning circle! Change oil every 3000 it will last a long time.

I bought a 02 maxima se with 215,000 miles on it. whoever had it before me did not take very good care of it but I rebuilt the whole engine and is as smooth and good running as a brand new car. Love that thing, great power when you need it and gets fairly good gas milage if you don't hotrod it around all the time.

Everyone at the dealership was great to deal with. The technician who took me to look at the vehicle was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He also gave me great advice on what to do with the vehicle in terms of restoration work that would save me money and time in the long run, while still making sure I would get the best work done on the vehicle. I've owned one of these for just over a year and put about 10,000km on it (225,000 to 235,000). The good: -Performance is amazing and the car has plenty of pep. -Handling is phenomenal and it feels lighter than it is. You can really toss this thing around without issue. -Interior looks sharp, although mine is beginning to wear a little; still, good condition for the year. -Very minimal rust especially given the age and mileage. -Interesting and unique exterior design (it doesn't really look like anything else on the road). -Amazing visibility thanks to large windows, minimal tint, and a low "belt line." -Good steering feel; I always felt like I knew what was going on. The bad: -The 6-speed manual has slightly jerky shifts and is geared very low. Nissan recommends shifting into 6th gear at only 80km/h so highway driving it done at a high RPM. -The clutch has a long, stiff travel and an abrupt bite-point right in the middle. You have to move your left foot up two inches, carefully ease the next inch, and then up the rest of the way. I got used to it, but it's a challenging manual compared to most. -Side mirrors are weirdly small; I had to rely on the windshield-mounted mirror a lot more than on other cars (thankfully rear-visibility is exceptional). Summary: An excellent drivers car. I found it very engaging and driving it was always a blast. Sad to have to let it go, but mine was not well taken car of by previous owners and has too many small (often cosmetic) issues to be worth completely repairing.

I bought 2011 Honda Pilot EX in 2016 from East Coast Auto Source. It had bullet holes in the body and some shot out windows. I repaired the bullet holes, and had the other repairs completed. Car ran well and it needed some other work. Nine years later, we have 211,000 more miles on the Pilot. It was a good price and East Coast Auto Source was upfront and honest about the repairs and had the car shipped to my mechanic. I would bought another car in 2024 from them and I am happy with the deal.

I had a 2002 Maxima my second maxima btw, sold it with 265000 miles on it. See it from time to time, wish I had kept that one! Fun to drive, very reliable everyday work ride!

This car still drives really well. It shows its age , but, it has aged well. I’ve done the required maintenance since day one. I just installed a new alternator and battery.

I like to test drive all types of cars that my associates will let me get my hands on. Out of the following cars, I put the Nissan Maxima up with the so called elite class of cars. Here is the list that I've tested; Mercedes Benz e500, Lexus sc, the Range Rover 2018 hse, 2004 BMW 325. and others. I want to tell you that all that is written about fun, sporty and durable that the Maxima is is true compared with the ones on this list in my opinion. I put a Hollywood hills test on all of those passenger vehicles and if you know Hollywood california, then you know that the hills are swisty turny. with nice strait away shots. The order of choice for the conveyances mentioned that I would pick is like this. 1 Lexus SC(surprised handling control, exceleration into the turns), Maxima (handles corners at close radiance, hella control if better exceleration this this is my choice) I dont want to finish writting the list becasue I am bored with this now.... 2000 Maxima is a gooooood automobile for sure.

Bought New, 60k miles in 16 years. Brakes , tires, GAs tubes in hood and Trunk lid failed. Burned out fog bulbs, replaced battery once. Turned front brake calipers. Garage Kept, Replaced all fluids. Thats about it.
