I have had my 2020 maxima for some months now and I actually love the car. It is a smooth get up and go vehicle. the interior is lovely. The only concerns I am having about the car is that when I have the AC on, its like water is just pouring from underneath the car when I stop, the catylic converters seem to be stopping up because when on the hwy i smell the aweful rotten egg smell. the driver side headlight somehow keeps moisture inside and not sure why this happens but it causes a warning alert that the headlight system error is having and when have headlights on at night, i notice that headlight starts blinking bad. when have the car in reverse, i hear a loud like rubbing noise from the brakes and the rotors get rusted bad. just wandering if anyone else are having these same issues with the 2020 nissan maxima??

Their ratings are high because it is definitely well deserved usually I would be skeptic thinking it would be many fake reviews but after our own experience at Hillside Toyota their reviews are truly legit!!! Their cars, trucks are amazing. Their customer service especially the one who helped us whose name is Valentina is excellent, professional, helpful and she is so cool. Any questions we had was answered. Anything we did not understand she went beyond to help us from beginning to end. Definitely ask for her for above and beyond service and assistance. On top of that first day got some awesome yummy popcorn and the last day bagels and coffee. I OWN A 2016 MAXIMA SR AND I DRIVE THE HECK OUT OF IT, ONE OF THE BEST CARS I HAVE EVER DRIVEN. IT MAY NOT HAVE THE HORSE POWER, I BELIEVE IT SHOULD HAVE, BUT IT WILL GIVE ANY CAR IN IT`S CLASS A RUN FOR IT`S MONEY. ROAD AND TRACK OR MOTOR TREND SAID IT WAS HARDLEY A 4 DOOR SPORTS CAR, MAYBE NOT BUT IT`S CLOSE. FROM 2016 TO 2023 IN MY OPINION, NISSAN HELD BACK ON THE NISSAN MAXIMA. HORSE POWER SHOULD HAVE BEEN AT LEAST 350 HORES POWER

I purchased my 2022 Kia Sorrento Hybrid last week. Karol Sanchez was my sales person and I can't begin to tell you how incredibly nice she was. I bought 2017 Maxima in 2024...it is an awesome car looks sporty and is fast..great low and high end torque....I do use premium fuel as it recommends, note:I did purchase a warranty because I knew of some of the cars having cvt issues..so I took to Nissan they saw code recommended replacement of transmission with warranyi paid 200 dollars replaced...life is good so far 🙏🏾👍🏿

I've had my 2019 Sr for almost 3 years and I absolutely love it. This editors review is pretty spot-on. The car is aesthetically appealing, reliable, and powerful...but the SR can be a bit bumpy and a smidge uncomfortable at times. I'm the type of person that changes cars often, but I'm having a very hard time letting go of this one!

I love everything about this car. The interior and exterior design is absolutely beautiful, and it handles like a dream. It has great pick up with a V6 engine and can really get up and go. It is one of the most comfortable cars I have every driven. I purchased the Gun Metallic and have received many compliments on it. It seems to get better gas mileage than my Nissan Murano, so I have no complaints. This car is a great buy! Take one for a test drive. You won't be disappointed.

I think nissan should recall the paint a 2017 shouldn't be pealing the clear coat or paint. I have seen many with the same issues.

First time ever purchasing a used car and found BHM online. I live in MI and was somewhat apprehensive about buying without seeing in person but only in photos, but car was everything I thought it would be. just now NEW I totally recommend Yonkers auto mall!! Virginia and Anthony work hard together to get you in your car the same day. Even if you have bad credit they will try their 100% to get you in a car the same day!! Which is what I had and all other dealerships told me most likely I would not get approved they didn’t even try. Yonkers auto mall allowed me to test drive as many cars as I wanted to make sure I was happy with my choice. I went to several dealerships before finding Yonkers auto mall that asked for my deposit up front and never gave me the car to test drive. They also gave me the best offer for my trade in. They have more cars that come in daily that might not be on their site yet. I highly recommend stopping by their dealership to speak to Virginia regarding their offers. They honestly make you feel so comfortable with their quick process!! I will be back in a couple of years for a trade in maybe get the Lexus next time 😊. I fell in love with the new bodystyle Maxima when it came out in 2016. I have it now for 7 years now with 99,212 miles and it is still drives smoothly. It's my baby. I am planning to put another 100,000 miles. I have no single problem at all but of course I am faithfully get it serviced. Sad that this will be the last year that they are making the Maxima. By the way, I named her Maxie.

This has been a solid and reliable car for 20 years! If Nissan offered a Maxima today with a regular automatic transmission I would eagerly purchase one, but not with a CVT. I only drive 3400 miles per year but I have experienced problems that you would expect on a much higher mileage car. Two oxygen sensors failed at 28000 miles; the radiator cracked at 33000 miles; the passenger side front strut failed at 37000 miles; there is currently an oil leak the dealer can't locate; and the radiator lower support has been rusted out since about 2004. Despite the continuing maintenance issues I still love this car and its styling and performance.

We have nothing but good things to say about our new Maxima. It seems to be a well built car, not to mention the unbelievable throttle response. Ours is the Platinum edition, but the way it goes through the curves it's easy to forget we're in a 4 dr sedan! Pleasure to drive!

Bought my '12 Max SV (my 3rd one btw) Jan 2013. 1 of 2 left on lot. MSRP 38 G. Pd 28G out the door. Now with 86000 miles. Only tires, oil changes and rear brakes. NO problems at all with a plus on performance. Best car I've ever had and my 1985 and 1993 were great cars too. May end up being the last car I have to buy. Always garaged and above average in and out and Edmunds says it's worth $3700. Hoping would be 5G at least.

Bought this car new, have owned several maximas over years. Never had a problem with them. Fortunately didn't have far to drive to work. Retired in 2019, only have around 82,000 miles on this 2011. Took it twice from Pennsylvania to Colorado, very comfortable to travel in. I recommend this vehicle.

2016 Maxima SR just hit 170k miles today. It's been rock solid. CVT has been serviced every 30k and still runs great. Engine has had zero repairs. Still gets 31 MPG on trips. Every feature still works as they did new. The past couple weeks we had weather in the negative temperatures, it started the first try with zero hesitation every day. Our same year Chrysler struggled to start in the cold. This car has redeemed Nissan, we had a Rogue previously that was pretty junky. The Maxima is the best value out there!

I love my 2011 Nissan Maxima SV. Its very sporty looking and easy to add additional accessories and equipment to make it look sharp. It has been a very reliable car. I love my backup camera and my satellite radio. This car has lots of features for it just being a 2011 such as heated steering wheel, mirrors and both front seats. The dash looks awesome with its orange glowing indicators. I would say the only con is kinda expensive to maintain. Later after a new cvt transmission, I learned special transmission fluid must be changed as often as your oil changes if not more. Im not a huge fan of the CVT transmission as this slap stick shifter you dont feel it ever shift gears its explained to me that its like a big rubber band it just stretches as needed. Word to the wise: Change fluids within the first month if youve replaced your transmission on this car. Id still buy this sporty vehicle again and again.

I have owned a 2019 Nissan Maxima SL for a number of months now and I think that's enough time to know that I made a great purchase. The Nissan Maxima is what I'd call your "Jack of All Trades, Master of None" car, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Having driven a 2016 Dodge Challenger R/T and a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS, the Maxima isn't quite the rocket ship those two cars are, but it's certainly no slouch. The 3.5 V6 is very confident, and provides more than enough power for the Maxima, I'd almost go so far as to classify it as a "mini muscle car"; it's not going to blow the doors off a V8 or some turbo-charged competition, but make no mistake the car is quick, and the CVT Nissan has put in the Maxima is very quick to respond. The average driver who isn't necessarily looking for a rocket will be very impressed with what this car can do. What really won me over about the Maxima is the styling and the interior. Between this and a 2018 Ford Fusion Sport, despite the Fusion being the more powerful car, the Maxima's craftsmanship was in another league from the Ford. The interior is filled with soft-touch materials, nice aluminum themed accents, contrast stitching, and more. My only gripe is the use of gloss black plastic in the center console and by the touch-screen as it's a micro-scratch/dust magnet, but admittedly it does look classy. The interior is a genuinely nice place to be; the seats are incredibly comfortable. All in all, the Maxima provides a very competent package. Yes, there are cars that are more luxurious. There are cars that are faster. There are cars that look a little meaner, if one of those things in particular is a high priority. The Maxima does each one of them well, however, making the Maxima an excellent proposition if you want a car that offers some of everything; it's fairly luxurious, looks great on the outside, and offers enough thrills to inject some fun into your commute.
