This SUV is great for all types of transportation needs: family road trip, going to mountain campings, hiking, biking and also as work truck. Gas mileage could have been better, but the V6 engine is very powerful.

I’ve owned my 2011 Pathfinder SV since 2013. It was bought with 13000 miles and it ended with 170,000 miles when I was t-boned by a distracted driver. It’s been very reliable but does get terrible mpg. I’ve replaced the brake pads twice, 2 calipers, the left side exhaust manifold, ball joints, tie rods, front drivers side speed sensor, and the crank shaft position sensor. I was able to do all these repairs myself outside of the manifold and speed sensor which cost about 1k. I’m currently looking for another one of these because I liked it so much. It’s a shame they changed them to unibody in 2013 and had all kinds of tranny issues otherwise I’d be looking at a newer model. For your money the 2010-2012 Pathy is a rugged reliable SUV. Forgot to mention I towed a 20ft fiberglass Baja pleasure boat with it for 6 years! It mever missed a beat… well other than getting 10 MPG when towing the boat.

I really like it all around runs great . Only issue I am concerned about is the gas gauge isnt working not sure what is going on there and it is saying the tires need air they take 35 and that is what is in them so there is an issue there .

I love this car so much I bought 2 (used). 4x4 SE model. My my kids outgrew the back seats of my '91 300zx, I had to have something else. And NOTHING was going to come close to driving a Z. So I went the other direction. SUV. The R50 Pathfinder was perfect. Enough room for 4 comfortably, 5 for short trips. 4x4 when weather hits. Convenient for hilly streets when it rains. Would have been stuck in NW Arkansas over Christmas one year if I didn't have a 4x4. (You know the Z wouldn't have made it out of the driveway.) Dime size snow flakes. After years of faithful service, my first 2004 got T-boned 2 blocks from the office. By then all SUVs had become mini-school buses. I tracked down my 2nd 2004 with half the miles, and kept on trucking. It now has 180,000 miles, still going strong. Only known item is it kicks out of cruise after about 3 hours of driving. I'm thinking a dirty connection in the wiring. SOLID roof rack, I can use to ferry lumber or fence pickets from Lowe's to the house. 16' 2x10s, just strap 'em down and go. Most SUVs have become SVs, forgetting the UTILITY. I don't want to strap a bicycle to my roof. I actually need a vehicle that is capable of doing work. The end of the small Pathfinder was sad. My wife likes her XTerra, but the ride is uncomfortable, and the doors dig into the outside of my thighs on trips. Don't like it as much as my Pathy.

I got mine for free with 200k on it and it has nothing wrong with it but body rust around the fenders that is about it runs like a top

We are a family of five with three dogs. We love going outdoors and off roading and it’s hard to do that in a family car. This one is so reliable, comfortable, fits all our needs and is so pretty!!!

Friendly staff, not too pushy; however, Buyer Beware -- they do a great job making a car look great both in pictures and in person, but the car we bought turned out to have nearly non-existent brakes, badly worn rotors, and, unfortunately, engine damage from having been run with little to no oil in the past. We checked the oil in the parking lot, looked new and topped off, and no signs of leaking. Didn't check the exhaust pipe, however, which would have given a clue to the amount of oil the engine was (is) burning. We discovered this upon getting a 120K mile service interval one week *after* purchase from XDrive -- they pulled the oil filter and there was a TON of metal shavings in it, and we soon discovered that its burning oil at the rate of approx. one quart per gas tank or six hours of driving time. Only way to have found this was to have it checked by a mechanic *before* purchase.

2012 Best truck ever made! But it used with alittle over 30k , Just reached 400K ( 397,899 ) Powerful V8 363 HP ! Got it out on open road with a max speed of 152 MPH She flew like a bat out of xxxx! Nissan was stupid to change this model!!

I’ve owned a couple of these model pathfinders an 01 and an 02. Both are over 300,000 miles. The 01 finally lost the transmission at 320,000+ and it isn’t totally dead it just isn’t road worthy due to no reverse and what seems to be 2nd and 4th forward gears. It starts and drives and is being used as a ranch truck. My 2002 is just a tick over 300,000 and it has been a great vehicle too. Paid $900 for it a year ago and have put 45,000 miles on it since. I’ve only had to replace a coil pack and brakes.

I have fallen in love with it more every year since I bought it off the lot in 2006! Dependable and reliable with low maintenance cost. I have never had any issues and it now has 145K miles on it.

Bought my 2003 pathfinder used with 132000 miles on it has 19000 on it after 10 years, still runs like champ, with minimum maintenance and starter replacement , too bad they don't make it any more like they used, older generations made in Japan are more reliable than the new ones that made in the U.S other wise i would buy new ones , but they are not a true 4*4 any more just a station wagon.

I had this car for 7 years and it still runs surprisingly well ! The only problem was that the transmission broke at 134,000km but over all the car is fun to drive , i wish it has power steering tho its a little heavy . To be honest i personally would prefer a land rover lr3 over the pathfinder .

This car never give us any problems, plenty of legroom and 2nd and 3rd row are foldable like a tent inside! Well maintained by Nissan, all records available upon request.

This car has very good off-road capabilities as well as a good quality/price bring but it has certain recurring problems like the fuel pomp and ect...

With a family of three, it is perfectly sized For all of our storage needs. I feel safe transporting my family and making it through the harsh Buffalo winters.

Bought my 2006 pathfinder se used in 2019. They are known to have tranny issues, luckily mine had been redone correctly before i purchased it. That would be the only,single conplaint i have. The engine is so strong, and powerful. The new tranny is tight shifting and perfect. It is very fast for a large suv woth tow package. I have 6cd changer,and leather interrio that is beyond comfortable. I love the window tint that comes on it. All the interrior plastics are heavy duty and tightly put together. Every single thing works inside,and out. I literally have no complaints. Pleanty of room for passengers or for storage. Everything is perfect. Id recommend to anyone. This is the best vehicle ive ever owned and driven. Good has milage. Its top of the line for the price.

I bought this vehicle 10 years ago & now have over 200,000 miles on odometer. Best vehicle I have owned & I have had many. Very little repairs needed. I drive it every day, pull trailers with it & never failed to start.

I was fed up with the same 4 square...look what we can do for you...I will tell and sell you a dream if you leave today with a car and have buyers remorse because you spent to much BS. Not here at Silver Eagle. Looked at a couple and Aldo (our salesman) was straight honest about what still needed to be done or what they thought they needed to do/look at. Didn't want to send us home with a car that we would call them about a motor or transmission problem. Not how they do business. They helped us figure different ways we could finance. We were in the market for something newer and something that would tow our travel trailer. Found this little gem with only 84,000 Original miles. I performed the service of removing the transmission cooler from running through the radiator and then I installed a new filter and fluid. This thing tows our trailer like butter! We were towing with a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe with the towing package and I thought we were probably putting too much stress on the transmission and engine. I used to have to prepare for upcoming hills, now I just give have to accelerate on my own. Sits up high so you have a good view of everything around you. Mine only has power mirrors and windows but I think that it's great for the year it was built. A lot more solid than our Hyundai that's for sure. I no longer feel nervous about towing our trailer. If I can get another 50,000 to 60,000 miles from it,it would be a steal! I always take the vehicle I am planning on buying to our own mechanic and let them look it over underneath to see if it leaked previously or has problems that will need addressed in the near future. I couldn't be happier with this vehicle!
