I recently purchased a 2024 Sentra SV with the premium package. I also currently own a 2020 Sentra SV (no upgraded package). I've owned that one for 4 years with 80k miles on it now. Great, reliable car. Very comfortable seats, great gas mileage, very good standard stereo system. I love the layout of everything for HVAC controls and radio. The dash display with speed limit sign recognition is great as well. I have had zero problems with the 2020 Sentra (I'm passing that car along to my daughter so not getting rid of it). For the 2024, the only notable differences are the transmission (it was upgraded in 2024) and the stereo controls. The transmission seems more responsive now in keeping rpms low without losing any acceleration. Very quiet car without the whining on the CVT. (there is some but not bad). The stereo on the premium package includes Bose speakers. I was hoping they would be a great upgrade but noticed no real improvement; maybe even slightly worse than the standard setup. In my 2020 Sentra, there is a sound adjustment for the midrange and a bass enhancer you can turn on/off. The new one does not have these selections. It sounds like too much midrange so kind of distorted and not crisp like I expect the Bose to be. Other than that, the car performs the same. It's a perfect reliable commuter car with enough features to keep you happy and comfortable on long drives. I have no issue with pickup or highway driving. I highly recommend.

I just purchased a new Toyota Tacoma today and was beyond pleased with the experience. I used the Costco Auto Program and was contacted by Ruben Puente quickly. He provided me the Costco price (which was great btw) and provided me trade in figures quickly via email. This was super helpful as I leave 2 hours away and wanted to make sure all the numbers were buttoned up before I made the trip down. Unfortunately Ruben was off today but answered his cell phone and arranged for his peer Lee Makarwich to help me when I arrived. They coordinated well and Lee had the Tacoma cleaned up and ready for me to check out upon my arrival. Lee went to bat for me with a discrepancy with the value of one of my trade ins and made sure I got the deal I was expecting. He was very professional and took great care to make sure everything was explained properly and that I was taken care of. Kevin Tran, the Finance Manager, listened to my needs and offered a great solution for my long term ownership satisfaction. We settled on a short term/high mileage warranty and gap protection to protect me from any unforeseen expenses that may occur in the future. He was friendly, professional and a pleasure dealing with. Overall from the being to the end, this was a wonderful experience and highly recommend checking out the great staff at Toyota of Fort Worth for any automobile purchase.

Got a 2024 SV, Aspen White Tri Coat ($400 option) all weather package (heated seats, heated leather wrapped steering wheel,heated mirrors, remote start, dual zone climate control, $590 option) proximity keyless entry and keyless start....for $20443. It's a freaking bargain! The interior is well laid out and comfortable even for me and I'm 6'5'. Everything is easy to access and understand and there's better soft touch materials everywhere they should be. Stereo is a pretty basic 6 speaker system with tweeters in the A pillars, 2 front door speakers and 2 rear deck speakers. Took about 2 weeks for the speakers to break in and deliver better sounding bass that's smoother. Clarity is pretty remarkable for a standard factory system. Performance wise...well it's a 149hp and weighs 3000lbs with a cvt. It's not winning many races but it's absolutely fine for any situation. You can easily pass cars and the cvt keeps the revs low on the interstate so your fuel economy doesn't suffer so much at higher speeds. Speaking of fuel economy,this thing won't get less than 40mpg. If I baby it in ecomode I've seen as high as 48mpg on my 24 mile commute to work. Running 50/50 rural roads and interstate I've gotten as much as 46mpg hand calculated (that's keeping the ac off and really trying for the best mpg I can get) normally though my tanks average 40-42mpg. The on board mpg readout is pretty darn accurate too. As far as saftey features, the blind spot monitoring has been perfect, rear back up automatic braking works well and the backup sensors let you know when you're getting close to stuff. Rear cross traffic alert works great too. I ALWAYS turn off automatic emergency braking for the front. Those systems are notorious for being overly cautious and intervening when not needed. We have the same type of system in our tractor trailers at work and they do more harm than good. Overall I'd highly recommend buying a Sentra. It's quiet, comfortable, handles better than it has a right to. Looks great and is cheap to own. The cvt for 2024 is a Jatco CVT XS. Look it up, it's meant to take way more power than a Sentra makes. Has a twin oil pump to keep pressures up and reduce slipping to reduce heat and wear. Has a multiplate clutch system for better lockup and again less slippage and it adds auto start stop which operates near seamlessly. Disregard the silly review complaining about the auto start stop system, there's a button to turn it off....its not the car's fault that person didn't read the owners manual. I'm not worried about reliability. Sentras rate a 4 out of 5 for reliability by warranty companies and companies that monitor repairs industry wide. They also have had and are projected to have less than average repair costs than other cars in the segment. Realistically a civic and corolla may be more reliable but you will never find one with this many options for less than $6000 more. Besides, if you're tall you definitely don't want a civic or corolla. They're ugly too lol. A base model corolla still has a torsion beam rear suspension while the Sentras get multi link independent rear suspensions and 2 sway bars. Sentras handle flat and active trace control keeps them from understeering in turns when pushed hard and trust me it works. Go drive one, you'll like it. Extended warranties are cheaper for these than most American brands. Throw a warranty on it and it's still cheaper to buy a loaded Sentra than a base civic or corolla. I wouldn't even consider a Hyundai/Kia with all the engine and transmission failures they're having now. Shop around and absolutely do not pay msrp. Prices are dropping and patience will pay off.

Overall, Vandergriff Chevrolet service dept. did an excellent job on my repair. With an extended warranty, the repairs cost nothing. But if I do critique anything, is the trying to get me to spend $1,200 in new battery cables. There was nothing wrong with them.

Overall good experience. Couldn’t get much done until you go in. Only put half a tank of gas in after they said they would fill it up and no floor mats. And manager special is not for everyone.

This is a great place. I personally recommend working with Kelly in sales and Malcolm in finance. Blake in finance is also good but new to the finance department so Malcolm would be your best option. I left a very negative review after I felt like I had been completely taken advantage of by them on Saturday and was on the hook for a loan worth twice what the car was worth brand new. They completely took care of me and I got into a different car that was the same make and model but cheaper. My deal went from 34,000 total to 20,000 total after reworking it. I will say they want to add lots of stuff into the deal. It isn't necessarily bad but it adds up and I was unwilling to accept that. They will try to keep all or some of it on and if you don't want it then fight for the price you want and read the website to know their policies and guarantees. I will also leave this as a disclaimer, I would be selective about what salesperson you work with. My Mom overheard one of the guys complaining about how he was one sale away from a bonus and some lady wasted two hours of his time and backed it because she was incompetent. I saw the lady he was talking about and she was older and said very clearly she had someone waiting on her for some time now and could not stay longer. I also briefly worked with some other guy in the finance department who was pretty rude and I didn't enjoy that. I don't remember his name though. Kelly is a genuine person and a great saleswoman. You can trust her. It seems like some of the staff are a little more money focused and trying to help themselves more than the customer so beware. I also want to point out one of the managers introduced himself to me and was very kind. Also very apologetic over how things went the first day and I really appreciated it. Good place and some really good people. I had some mixed feelings with this experience but the likes of Malcolm, Kelly, and Blake and how they handled making things right with me overwhelmingly changed my overall experience to a positive--hence the 5 star review. I initially walked in late in the evening with no appointment with my 88 y/o Mom who I wanted to make sure she could get in and out of the MDX I had my eye on. Liz was kind enough to bring the MDX next to our car to see if Mom could get in and out with her walker. Liz was patient and friendly with my Mom and knew it was important to me to have her comfortable and safe. I made an appointment for the next day to properly test-drive various MDXs. Liz listened to my preferences and concerns then remembered a specific MDX they had on the lot, so she brought it over for me to see. She warned me as she wasn't sure if I'd like the interior color...I took one look and said “I love it” - Red Italian leather! The 3rd MDX we test drove was the charm!
