2018 Jeep Compass Limited Review

This car is absolutely amazing. It’s great in the snow and very reliable. Go to see Jared at Arlington Heights CDJR! He’s so great! He helped me find exactly what I was looking for! He’s young but extremely knowledgeable.
I was looking to trade a vehicle on something newer. I was able to test drive multiple cars over the duration of a few days because I could not make up my mind on what I wanted. They were extremely patient with me while making my decision. Any questions I had were answered quickly. They were not pushy by any means on trying to make a sale which was a very big plus for me. I was able to take my time in making a decision. They were very helpful pointing out different features that went with each vehicle I looked at to help me decide which one I think would be right for me. They offered the highest price for my trade and gave me a good deal on a car that I am very happy with. It has not had a problem yet. Everything was taken care of at the dealership and I didn't have to do anything! Thank you! and I would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone. I recommended this dealer to a friend and within 2 weeks they bought a car from this Dealer and they are just as happy!
2019 Ford F-150 XL Review
2019 King Ranch

This is my fourth Ford truck. First was a Ranger, then an XLT, then a Lariat. This King Ranch fulfills my bucket list. Have had it only a week but it looks and drives great. Very comfortable ride.
the air vents on my 2009 king ranch and 2015 expedition are circular with possible 360 degree rotation and variable close positions. much better than those on my 2018 F-150 platinum. info system when i have the navigation in the full screen mode there is no indication of radio information. have to go to the multiscreen mode. on my 2015 expedition i can full screen map and radio information. much nicer
My 1st Forester is a 2009 turbocharged model which is still going strong with 110,000 miles. The newer Foresters offer safety and convenience features mine doesn't have so I decided to upgrade. The 2019 Forester no longer offers the turbocharged version so I opted for a certified pre-owned 2018 XT Touring which has a turbocharger. I love the vehicle but because the turbo is no longer available, the used turbo versions have become quite pricey. I am keeping the old one for hauling dogs, lawn equipment and towing my utility trailer. The new one will be just for people for now.
The vehicle is just the right size. I am 6'4" and would appreciate a little more leg room and thigh support but the Forester is as comfortable as any other small SUV I checked. There is plenty of headroom. The turbo does require premium fuel and has a lower mileage rating. With the turbo and sports tuned suspension, it is a fun vehicle to drive and worth the money to me. In over 10 years, the older one left me stranded only once when a drive belt broke after 100,000 miles. Based on reviews, I expect the same reliability from the newer one.
I wanted a highly reliable compact AWD SUV and found the perfect price-point in the AWD Sportage. Just pop the hood on one of these and you will be delighted at how neat the engine compartment is. There is literally nothing you cant get to under the hood in complete contrast to other brands. I'm not a fan of turbo chargers and so this vehicle has a perfectly matched normally aspirated engine with more than enough get-up and go. Gas mileage is WAY better than advertised as I get 29-30 between a mix of city and highway driving.
The base model AWD Sportage is still loaded by any standards with bluetooth and backup camera standard. Essentially it has everything I want in a vehicle without some things that I personally would rather not have.
And a 10year 100k drive-train warranty is the best in the industry as far as I know.
I buy vehicles new and keep them until they are not worth fixing anymore. I fully plan on this vehicle being part our small fleet of cars for 20 years. (I have a 2001 Ford Ranger that is still running strong).
We only drive our best vehicle, (which this one is now), about 6-8k miles a year that is one reason I get a lot of life out of our cars and we strive to keep salt exposure to a minimum in winter moths by driving our older cars in such conditions.
