2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette GLS review
Good gas mileage, poor gasket quality
Bought this van with 82K and now have 90K. Been to Fla from MI and it was wonderful. Had intake manifold gasket replaced by dealer before buying. Now small oil leak which I'm told is around rear main seal. Used CD2 in oil and it has stopped the leak. I hope hope hope it stays sealed. If not, another gasket repair. Get mid to upper 20's on hwy, 18-19 in city. Comfortable,enjoyable van. Had Chrysler and Ford vans before and this is best except for gasket problems

I had two of these and it was the best vehicle I have ever had I think it's one of the best ever made!!!! It wasn't extremely comfortable but it was the best I have owned I am trying to find another one!!!!

1999 Oldsmobile Silhouette Premiere Edition review
Olds Makes a Great Van!
Was the third owner of this car (grandmother and mother had before me). Needed something to move the kids around and couldn't afford on my own, so mother sold this to me cheap - had around 105k at the time and it lasted about a year. The brakes gave us worrying signs, but we pushed it too long and they went entirely - our mistake. Could have kept for a lot longer, but all new brake systems were more than the car was worth at that point - salvaged it away (sadly). A gorgeous dark green you can't find anymore. Plush leather, seats 7 with ease, lots of cargo room - a great minivan that GM sadly doesn't make anymore. Would highly recommend, just make sure you read the signs it shows you!
