Like a lot of boomers, we considered a bike for those weekend getaways.......but then we discovered the Prowler. All of the fun of a bike, BUT, you can put the top up if needed, you have air and heat, you can carry on a conversation, and either of us can enjoy it without the 'other'. It is to old hot rods what the Miatta was to English Sports Cars...a reliable alternative!

Initially I dealt with Dan, the owner, over the internet. Then I dealt with Steve at Castle Rock, then Martin at Parker. They were kind, caring, and helpful. Honestly, Dan may be the best communicator I've ever dealt with. He always responded immediately, I was mostly impressed with his immediate and accurate responses. This car is so much fun to own. It's reliable comfortable and fun to drive. The trunk is quite small, however it will support 2 clothes bags and a toiletry case. It holds just enough to go away for several nights and not feel like you've left something home. I have to admit it's most fun driving with the top down and the stereo up. These cars are only becoming more valuable as time goes on. I can't think of any other car that you can say that about today.

Before I purchased this car I read several reviews and watched a few you tube videos on the car. This car rides incredible and I purchased this vehicle with 30,000 miles on it. Considering the technology for 1999 this car rides and handles incredibly. The stereo for 1999 is what it is. The car wasn't my first or second choice but now that I bought it I am glad I did. This vehicle for 2880 lbs. and 1999 being first year of the horsepower increase. This vehicle has had a few upgrade as far as exhaust, pulleys and air intake adds. If you aren't old enough to have seen one when they first came out then you wouldn't know what the car is when you do see it. I appreciate it every time I stop somewhere it draws a crowd.

GR was easy to work with and took care of problems as the came up. The purchase was without hastle and the truck was as good as they said it would be.

My 1997 Prowler has many upgrades, including a custom, real paint job, obviously Purple, but with custom white accents and/or white streamers I have under 40,000 miles, and a steel "plate" beneath the "nose" of the Prowler to stop scratching under the nose. I also have the travel "baggage rack" Lots of extra chrome around the car, and Waay to much to list.

The writer is truly wrong. I’ve owned one for a few years and just drove 600 miles with the top up no problem. Like driving a space capsule. Visibility is actually better than most cars. With the top down it’s amazing.

Old Hot Rod styling that you could drive everyday. The only con is it?s hard to get in and out with the convertible top up if your a larger guy. Great looks at an effordable price.... they have held their value for the last 10 years at around $30k for low mileage car

very fast with a 340 wedge and 2-950's, full race cam, dual point, posi-trac rear end, automatic, still could stay out of the carbs and get 16 miles to the gallon. Could cruise at 100 mph plus.

We went to RMR to "just look" at a Range Rover. We were impressed from the moment we drove up.
