Used Pontiac Grand Prix for sale near Ballinger, TX

I have bought all my vehicles there for the past 15 years and had all of them serviced there as well. They are great to deal with. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They care about their customers.

Service advisor Cameron did an outstanding job! I have had at least 4 Dodge service advisors over the years, and Cameron is by far the best that I've had. He kept me in the loop at every stage. He even tried to help with an extended warranty issue that I had. (Turns out that the 7 year 75k mile warranty that I purchased in 2019 expired in 2023 even though my car has less than 65k miles on it.) I had the water pump, thermostat, and serpentine belt replaced. All of these repairs were done in an exceptional manner. HOWEVER, I was told that I needed to replace both Lower Control Arms and both Tension Struts. I declined to have those repairs done. When I got back home, I took my car to my local mechanic, whom I have been going to for years, to look at the arms and struts. He informed me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with either. I cannot understand why I was told those repairs were needed. The next question asks if I would recommend this dealer to a friend. My answer is yes AS LONG AS you know exactly what repairs are needed. I would recommend this dealership and would strongly recommend that the person asks for Cameron to be their Service Advisor. I cannot sing his praises enough!

I just love my grand prix, with one exception, the door handles. They are cool being on the side of the window/door, but we have one broken one on the drivers side and the one on the passenger side is starting to give me grief, and am having a heck of a time trying to find replacements.

I am Thankful to GOD the Father and his son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving me patience to purchase a really nice 2007 Chevy Tahoe LTZ no hassle, honest, professional, extremely high morals and ethics, believers in faith. After months of dealing with evil at big dealerships. I shielded their arrows and let GOD show me the way and that was Select Motors. Probably spent 30 minutes 15 minute test drive and 15 minute deal made. No 3 hours or more at big dealerships where they just push and push, lie, bait and switch. I traded in 2 Saturns for a black 2008 Grand Prix GXP with 62,300 miles. I've gone though it with new coils, wires, plugs, wipers, filters, some fluids changed and a new set of tires. Even replaced the headlight lenses and tail lights with new custom modern LEDs. Also added a performance chip and a Turbomag kit. I have a few other repairs I still have to do (like A/C, it works but leaks), but I love this car already and I am just getting started. Not good for full burn outs, though it has the power. Instead, you just launch! Your head hits the head rest and it feels like your eye xxxxx are bouncing off the back of your skull. I love it. Stock with the LS4 5.3L they are 303 hp, I think I'm getting around 380 something out of it. It's my baby, even though I am more of a classic car fan. They can bury me in it when I die. :o)

I bought my 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GT in 2007 with 23,000 miles on it. This car has been exceptional and I still own it. I have changed the oil every 3,000 - 4,000 miles since I have owned it. The car currently has 511,000 and the 3.8 non- super charged engine has never been opened up. The alternator just went at 450,000 miles and the AC system is all original. The transmission was overhauled at 289,000 miles. The car is in extremely good condition cosmetically and does not look like a half million mile car. It has the sun and sound package and the special order Blue-Green Crystal Metallic paint. I plan on driving this until the engine gives out!

I own a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP.I got the car in excellent exterior condition,in 2020, considering that it was20 years old. The old engine has never let me down (unless you consider listing to audio for four hours and draining the battery). Its interior needed a bit of tlc when I got it,and so far I’ve put around 30,000 miles on it. But power? Ahhh,yes. And currently making 25.2 miles per gallon. Longest trip I ever took it on was 13 hours straight through, talk about comfort. It also hit,subdued and recovered from a deer as well.😏 I then fixed it,and am still using it today. It’s a perfect car for someone introduced to the Grand Prix,but wanting to upgrade from a GT. The only downside is that,because of their age and lack of care in their younger days,these cars are getting increasingly hard to find in nice shape. Most of them are rusted out and banged up like tin cans. So if you’re shopping around,look for a GTP with as little rust as possible,sit back and let the adventure begin!

I loved this car I have had 3, all in which have made it well over 300k with the infamous 3800 v6. This last one made it to 377k and the computer went out. I sold it for 1600 still and my neighbor down the roads kid is still driving it back and fourth to college which is around 400 miles round trip and drives it daily in St. Louis. Great car i never had any other problems with it. Wish they never quit making Pontiac’s👎🏻

This car is great, its comfortable, fast, and the V8 Can get up and go. However, compared to more modern cars, the Poniac 2006 GXP V8 shows its age, My car cant accelerate as quickly as more modern cars. But its still a solid car. The most major issue with the GXP is the tires and suspension. This car is apparantly designed to drive on Perfectly Smooth roads. Which is great if you live in a Gated Community somehwere houses are $500,000 each and everybody is perfectly blonde. However, I prefer more 'All-Terrain' vehicles compared to 'high-preformance but extremely delicate.' I'll compare the 2 cars I've owned: Jeep 1996 Grand Cherokoo Laredo Extremely Tough, can go anywhere, I can drive over curbs easily. Poniac 2006 Is more like Princess and the Pea. If I hit a Gravel Rock, the whole car will feel it. The Jeep, can go anywhere on Earth basically. The Poniac, Hit a Curb? Need a New Rim, the whole cars missaligned and tires need rebalanced, and now the Tires going flat. Hit a pothole in the Jeep, no problem, keep driving. In the Poniac, Now everything needs re-alligned, rim is damaged, etc. Just as an example. ^ The Poniac is reliable, its just extremely sensitive and needs perfect roads. The Jeep is all-terrain, durable, and strong. I'd drive my Jeep anyday if I could. Considered I got my Jeep for $5k, then put $5k in upgrades/repairs, Id get it again anyday. The Poniac was $32k new, and is just extremely sensative.

This car is fun to drive. It's fast with a good V8 sound. It has very good street manners. Good ride in the rough but will hug a corner like a vette.

It's a car you can pick up cheap that's still in nice shape. The 3.8 is very reliable and the transmission will stay strong as long as you don't beat it. Maintain the car well it will last. Minor Things will brake every 6months -a year because of the age of the cars but just small things that won't leave you stranded. My car shot a plug once but it was an easy fix and I still drove it home. Overall I would recommend it as it overs a sporty appearance somewhat sporty handling and a really nice interior if you get higher than a base trim.

I bought this car for my son's 18 birthday. The car was in great condition both inside and outside. The car had over 150k on it and after taking it to Sears to get a checked out the only thing it needed was a water pump and light tuneup. He was absolutely thrilled. He loves everything about it especially the fact that it is a coupe. I am extremely happy with this car.

These Pontiacs with the 3.8 engine are solid as a rock and make a good used car Buy. I owned the Pontiac GT it's simply was a great trouble free car. And all of these Pontiacs are fun to drive.

We were in the market for an affordable 2nd vehicle. Nothing fancy just reliable transportation to drive to work, and home. We found a high-mileage Impala that looked clean. The test drive was good, and we purchased the car. We ended up with some issues after the purchase. Long story short Tom stood behind his car sale and fixed everything. It's maybe how you approach a dealer with an issue is how it gets handled. We're happy with our whole experience.

I've gotta say, my car buying experience at Serra Ford for the Ford Ranger was freakin' amazing! The whole team there was top-notch, especially Rachel Kupke, my salesperson. My 07' Grand Prix GT still going strong in 2023 with 10100 miles on it (low for its age). The GT had the supercharged version of the 3.8., has every option other than OnStar, stealth gray exterior, 10 spoke wheels, all charcoal leather interior. Other than regular maintenance and the normal wear items it has only had a check engine light come on once in 16 years, codes revealed a TB circuit failure, and a 150.00 throttle pedal fixed the issue. Minor issues are soft trim parts are failing and no replacements are available to be had. GM should have killed the Buick instead of Pontiac, after all it brought more to the table than Buick did. To this day still gets the 18mpg the EPA suggested in 2007.
