Bought my brand new Firebird in 2001. She is going to be 25 years old in a few days. Everybody that sees my car (black) wants to buy her! I am 85 years old I have been driving her for going on 25 years. I have had problems with windows,blinkers,small problems. 144,000 MILES ONE OWNER

I used my own credit union for my financing and even they said what a pleasure it was working with Rami and Diamond and just how thorough and on top of things they were. I had never shipped a car out of state before and this was also my first Porsche and I’m sure I wasn’t the easiest to deal with at times, not on purpose of course, but just because it was such a new experience. I felt very taken care of and accommodated with everything I needed. Great communication and very fair. I can’t say enough good things! I have driven two firebirds, a 3800 v6 and a LT1 v8, both cars were great. The only complaints are in the interior, being an older car the plastic doesn’t hold up well. The 3800 v6 is the best engine ever made for a daily driver, absolutely reliable and almost impossible to blow up. I do some hard driving in my completely stock v6 and it has lasted extremely well. The v6 also has plenty of power, I even beat a friend in a v8 challenger in a drag race once, though he was not a very good driver.

Beautiful car even though not as beautiful as the "Bandit" version. Has excellent handling. V6 is awesome. So fun to drive. Sure wished Pontiac was still around making Firebirds. These are getting harder and harder to find. If you can find one with low miles, you'd better snatch it up as they are disappearing.

I love driving my t top firebird runs great and still looks good.only 97,000 miles on a 1996 would buy a new one if they still made them.

Only required regular maintenance. Never broke down. Drove from 20k miles to 190k miles. Took long trips in it. Very smooth on road. Has power and excellent steering. Hold the road. the vehicle is hard to drive in snow and rain. It sits very low to ground so must be careful.

Loved my firebirds . I bought a new 1994 and a 1999 . V6 but awesome power it’s a Pontiac I replaced window motors , antenna motor, alternator, rotar,flip light motor ,oil gastric seals , I sold it and regretted it , but I figured I was grown up in my late 30’s but boy am I looking for the last one made miss my car , fun to drive and it got so many compliments black no tee tops no ram hood but beautiful I’ve noticed people haven’t taken care of theirs in the used one’s I’m looking for , how sad wish Pontiac would make them again beautiful styling cars , it had 210,000. Miles and was going strong

I loved my 2000 Firebird! Make sure you get it with T-Tops! It was comfortable and had no major issues. Ran great and at that time I was sorry I had sold it.

This car was a weekender, so not a lot of miles on in for a car that's been owned since 1979. All original, AC duct work, very minor paint touch ups, and a little interior work will get it back to near showroom condition.

I wasn't even looking for a car when me and my friend pulled into a store which had a car dealerships on the other side and the very first car wash the 2000 black firebird my bff said lets look and 2 days later I got it,I've had so many comments and compliments every time I drive it its a fun and enjoyable car and the only drawbacks are getting in and out beings how I'm 54yrs young it gets a little tricky after 3- times getting out in a few hrs but worth it ...so glad I got it plus love the power on call if o need to jump out in traffic its got my back and quick to perform

Great car for investment potential! With the LT-1 Corvette engine there's plenty of dependable power to last for years to come, garage kept so most parts haven't been exposed to the weather for long periods of time, and a really fun car to drive.

2002 was the end of the line for performance cars at Pontiac. The Firebird and Trans Am were iconic muscle cars that helped define the genre. I was lucky in finding 1 of 2000 Collector Edition models with super low miles. The car runs strong, handles well, and still looks great 19 years later. The interior is dated but nobody buys a Trans Am for the interior. It is still fast and fun to drive. Getting a 4th generation Firebird is more economical then buying a project and restoring/modifying it to meet modern standards. This car is for serious drivers to are tired of the current run of the mill cookie-cutter tin can cars today, and it is half the price of current muscle car remnants, it can still keep up with most of them too!

What an absolute beauty of a car! You can make money with it at shows... Just ask anyone if they know what kind of car, you response will generally be 69 Camaro, then double up since it has wing (vent) windows, and point that out. There next guess...a 67 Camaro... no go big! and unveil it is a 67 Firebird dressed like a 68/69/70 Camaro!! You'll win everytime.

These cars today are selling for extremely low nubers compared to other sporty looking cars, many of them can sell below or around $3,000 for a well maintained one, it can even be below $1,000 if you watch for it, snd it is a great car that is somewhat underpowered because of 80s regulations.
