Bought this car at a junk auction. It was in poor shape but I knew that going into it. It was a jewel of a find 06 gtp. It's my fun summer's only, occasional driver. I gutted all the seats and replaced them with leather as well as fixed the interior. Car had lots of mechanical issues as well but the engine was and still is strong. Its a fun car to buy and take under your wing as a collectors, project car. Lots of cheap parts in the junk yards now. I would not recommend this car for a daily driver unless you plan on spending a lot of money fixing stuff. The cars are old.

I was looking for a used van for well over a month and visited several dealerships and received what I considered the run around from their sales departments (we will look around to find a van and call you - never received a callback from them.) I was ready to give up until spring when I located a van on the internet at Wissler Motors . I have an 06 4 door GTP, comes with an amazing SUPERCHARGED 3.9L, looks sporty and even muscle car ish (besides the front headlights I just replaced them with halos because the stocks looked a bit buggy), the GTP rims look better than Camaro SS rims in my opinion, performs perfectly and amazingly,great gas mileage, fire hot heat, ice cold AC, I love racing people on the street in this car because I leave 90% of them in the dirt as soon as I takeoff, many compliments on the looks and rarity, power seats are heated and most comfortable I’ve ever had, in the snow I make truck look like nothing when it comes to handling, sound system POUNDS super nice, smooth ride, very minimal inexpensive issues at 170k, does some aggressive smoky burnouts, and very reliable too, no matter what, -20 degrees out, 97 degrees, it has never let me down, every time I turn the key she fires up loud and proud in 1 pull!! ETC. With all of that said, I wouldn’t trade this car for anything else. The 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP 4 door sedan is definitely a great performer, reliable till the end, beautifully and uniquely designed car 1000% Best car I’ve ever owned and very very highly recommend it.

They were great on helping me get my first car they didnt pressure me and helped me get a best fit of a car.

This is the 3rd Pontiac Bonneville we have purchased. We go out of our way to find Pontiac or Buick vehicles that offer the 3800 engine. This engine is "bomb proof". You will literally wear the car out before the engines goes. This car "floats" down the road and there is nothing better to drive in the winter!

bought used with 128xxx. 6 years later still wouldn't sell. I have yet to get into a situation that I wasn't able to maneuver it out of easily. taken it through spots that trucks couldn't (driver experience and ability). for the last year it has served as one of the best work trucks I've ever been around. I know on more than a few times that it was definitely overloaded I'm talking about the rear fender being about 1/2 Inch from the tire, and she hasn't disappointed me yet or let me down. only reason why I didn't give 5 stars all the way across the board, is that horrible evil things called governors at 108mph. it's now over 21 years old and 180xxxish miles. only thing I have upgraded is the air intake and filter. (BEFORE) if you floor in from a dead stop it would shift into 2ND gear at 45MPH (AFTER) 50MPH. (BEFORE) from 2nd to 3rd a 90MPH, (AFTER) AROUND 100MPH

I love the way the car looks and the leather seats are very comfortable. The 3.5 liter V6 offers great performance for cheep. After just a few months of owning it however my rims started corroding and they need to be replaced and my strut mounts constantly squeak. This doesn't mean the car isn't reliable per say but it is a significant added expense. I don't have any regrets buying the car because of all the things I love about it but if you buy a 10 year old car like the Pontiac G6 be prepared for quite a few annoying repairs.

I went to Shea Buick GMC because their inventory of preowned vehicles had many selections of the models that met my needs as far as mileage, year of manufacture and price. I actually bought the vehicle I had been the most interested in since March. I made an appointment, the salesman met me at the door and had the vehicle I was interested in with the air running ready for a test drive. It was perfect! We added a tonneau to the package, agreed on a price for the trade-in and the purchase price for the truck I bought. We arranged for the insurance, the installation of the tonneau and for a pick up time at my convenience. All was done in a matter of 2 hours! Everyone I worked with was kind, focused and professional... the efficiency of the transaction speaks volumes to the dedication of Sheas' staff!

I’m a bragging past owner of a 2006 G6 Gypsy sedan. First owner up to around 37,000 miles. Great experience & performance! Only issue that aggravated me was the key release from the ignition “ which was repeatedly repaired & never solved?” My model was the rare 6 speed manual “ yes in a sedan!!!!” The manual had to be in a certain precise position to trigger the ignition key release. I joked with GM service department that apparently the car wanted to keep driving?! The only other service I can remember was the leather seat cover replaced because the color wore away. & a suspension part up front. Everything covered by factory no arguments. I’m extremely serious that this is one General Motors hidden past gems!!!! “ keep in mind I am NOT talking base entry level model here.” Everyone knows about the G8 the solstice which is understandably justified! However these G6 GTP & GXP are the best investment for the budget minded to get performance in a competitive fun driving sedan with luggage & storage space!” Unless you’re smart enough to purchase the HARDTOP metal roof convertible!” Do your self & your wallet a favor & don’t ignore the vehicle when looking!

I also loved all the maintenance details provided on the website and the carfax provided. I decided to schedule a visit to test drive the vehicle I was interested in and have my car reviewed for trade in. I ended up trading in my vehicle and purchasing a vehicle that same day. Very easy to work with, very kind and knowledgeable. I personally loved being able to go test drive and purchase a vehicle with no pressure to do so. I purchased my 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix in July 2008. At the time of the purchase it has 55,000 miles and today I have 346,000. The original motor and transmission is still in the car. I haven’t experienced any major mechanical issues.

I bought my car used 3 years ago with 20k on it, I have taken many trips over 400 miles each time. Super comfy for long trips, great gas mileage, the only issues I've had were the recalls that I got fixed. Nothing major. I love it!

Nice staff, great price on the car we pucheased ran and drove well. Super quick process only took about 20 mins or so for the paperwork to due. this is our second from them, they tell you how it is and what they know about it. there used cars i cant afford a 40K new car nor do i have the credit for one so we stick with used . i think they get a bad rap for telling you how it is. most people want everthing sugar coated they take great care of us and also repair our two other cars. good people

I bought this car used in 2012. Over 10yrs later and 214k miles she still rolling. I did have to replace power steering sensor last year and unfortunately it has to be reprogrammed in shop or would of saved chuck of money. My evap solenoid is giving me trouble but my heat my AC my radio my windows all work and I would buy a brand new one if I good. Lots of replaced headlamp bulbs over the years but once rewired it made much better

This car is great, its comfortable, fast, and the V8 Can get up and go. However, compared to more modern cars, the Poniac 2006 GXP V8 shows its age, My car cant accelerate as quickly as more modern cars. But its still a solid car. The most major issue with the GXP is the tires and suspension. This car is apparantly designed to drive on Perfectly Smooth roads. Which is great if you live in a Gated Community somehwere houses are $500,000 each and everybody is perfectly blonde. However, I prefer more 'All-Terrain' vehicles compared to 'high-preformance but extremely delicate.' I'll compare the 2 cars I've owned: Jeep 1996 Grand Cherokoo Laredo Extremely Tough, can go anywhere, I can drive over curbs easily. Poniac 2006 Is more like Princess and the Pea. If I hit a Gravel Rock, the whole car will feel it. The Jeep, can go anywhere on Earth basically. The Poniac, Hit a Curb? Need a New Rim, the whole cars missaligned and tires need rebalanced, and now the Tires going flat. Hit a pothole in the Jeep, no problem, keep driving. In the Poniac, Now everything needs re-alligned, rim is damaged, etc. Just as an example. ^ The Poniac is reliable, its just extremely sensitive and needs perfect roads. The Jeep is all-terrain, durable, and strong. I'd drive my Jeep anyday if I could. Considered I got my Jeep for $5k, then put $5k in upgrades/repairs, Id get it again anyday. The Poniac was $32k new, and is just extremely sensative.

My 2008 G8GT has 185K on it and it still drives and handles like a new car. I have changed the brakes to slotted and change the oil myself every 3-4k miles. Front seats are not that comfortable for long trips and is my only minor complaint. I will keep the car as long as I can because there is nothing like the power being offered in a four door by an American Car Company.

This car is the best Pontiac ever so much fun.in Canada there is none on the road last time I saw 👀 one it was last year.

My mom bought this car brand new in 2009 and I bought it from her in 2016, and finally now at 245k miles it finally needs a timing chain replacement and I'm making the decision to let it go. This car has taken me all over America multiple times over on 15k+ mile road trips. It has gone off road (not well but did it), zips up and down mountains, handled extreme cold (-40 F) and extreme heat (128 F) with no problems whatsoever. Even the transmission still runs like a dream, and i was really hoping to get a little more time from this car, but it's gotta go. Would absolutely buy another one if Pontiac was still around.
