Very prompt communication and friendly
I have purchased two cars over the fast few years from Intersport and worked with Matt. He is easy to get ahold of and will call back promptly. He will tell you as much or as little as you want to know. You can see his passion is the Porsche brand as well as taking car of people like friends. They are very picky when it comes to their cars. If you haven't seen their showroom I can attest every car is immaculate and well sorted. It's very hard to photos to do a car justice but I saw 20-30 cars during my two searches, non of them ever compared to the quality Intersport offers hence my decision to repeat buy.
Porsche 2007 - A Special Motorcar
Porsche was my dream car and have owned the 2007 911 Carrera S for many years. It is everything I desired in a car. Smooth, fast, reliable and beautiful Black with Black interior and manual shift. I have owned two Corvettes, an MGB and Pontiac GTO, but the Porsche 911 is a keeper.

Classic Porsche Repair
I recently repaired my classic Porsche at Intersport Performance's Ashburn facility. Mat and the technicians were first class. I got frequent updates on the status of my repairs. The work was very well done. Omar offered some update suggestions and the car runs and drives great. I finished the work with a full detail and the car looks almost brand new. I am extremely pleased with their facility. Thank you, Omar, Mat and crew for a job well done!
Amazing all glass canopy roof in a sports car!
I have always wanted a 911 Targa. I've always been inspired by the airy glass canopy in a refined and reliable sports car like the 911. I have wanted one since it was introduced. The glass canopy allows the outdoors in and provides plenty of light when driving through Mt. passes and canyons. I have been wanting to drive the famed 993 911 as well. So this opportunity gave me the best of both worlds.

Outstanding experience!!!
I had my 6 year annual service performed on my 2015 Boxster GTS at 15,000 miles. I was referred by a friend of my wife’s who knew I had experienced some painfull issues with the Porsche dealer I purchased it from over the past five years. Matt Caskey was very helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and made it a pleasant experience.
Fun car
I purchased and held car for 4 years. After I purchased the car it needed many things, water pump failed, brake lines, alternator failed, motor mounts failed, cup holders snapped in all I spent about $15,000.00 on it in 4 years on a well cared for car with about 40k miles on it. It’s not cheap to keep up and I did not overpay for repairs at the dealer. It’s a great car however it’s going to cost you to keep it up properly. All the while you own it you will have fun when it’s not in the shop. Every time you hear a noise you wonder what is next and how much will it cost. This is a car for owners with disposable income, time, an extra car and a good local Porsche specialist.

If you love your Porsche, take it to Intersport.
I have an aging Porsche. When it leaves the garage at Intersport Performance, my 911 Carrera S feels as if it has reversed aged. When I bring my car in, Omar keeps in touch about the work and suggestions about what to keep an eye on are in the recommendation notes.
Porsche
Own this classic while the price is still affordable. The car to own if you want to invest in a car the the price will keep appreciating. It is the ca the is and will always be THE 911

Great experience!
Great experience! I recently bought a ‘04 Porsche 911 Turbo site-unseen from Intersport. I’ve never bought a car this way and was pretty uncomfortable but knew I couldn’t get down there for a couple of weeks and that I wanted this car. Raj was my salesman and he was great throughout the process. He was super communicative and eager to help the whole time. He helped arrange a PPI, state injection and pick up by my transporter and each step was smooth and without issue. The car itself was as described if not better and Intersport had done a recent clutch and other work. The work was really well done according to the independent mechanic and the car is fantastic. Raj and Intersport made an otherwise nerve-racking purchase very smooth and delivered a great car.
Your BEST investment; and you can drive it too
I have owned Porsches continually over a 30 year period - 2 of them 930's. The early 80's Euro spec Turbos (I owned a 1981) were VERY tricky to drive, and the turbo came on with brutal suddeness. The later 87 - 89 Turbos are much more refined in terms of turbo boost, and engine management, yet JUST as much fun to drive. People suggest that the 89 is the best year because it had the G50 (5 speed ) transmission. I wholeheartedly disagree with this, the 1988 with Porsches' square cut geared, 4 speed, is the pure RACING transmission designed by Porsche to handle 550 HP. It is extremely robust, and basically bullet-proof unless they are abused... The 3.3 litre Turbo has TREMENDOUS torque especially for such a light car, so the extra gearing of the G50 is not necessary. As for the G50: its' only benefit was the first gear syncro whose ratio is way too low - making it almost silly to use. It is not nearly as strong as the 4 speed, which by the way, Porsche continued to use in their racing EVEN after the introduction of the G50 - that tells the whole story I think. The turbos - if you get one that has been taken care of, will provide you with years of reliable driving. All 3 of my former Porsche 911/930's I sold for more than I purchased them for. There are VERY few cars that, like a good 911/930 do more than just hold their value - especially if you can acquire a well taken care of rare model.

Pure Porsche
This is my 3rd Porsche and this time I chose the 911 T. I wanted a xxxxx to the wall driving experience in the Smokie Mountains near my home. The T does not disappoint. It performs flawlessly. It hugs the corners -I can easily take 25 mph at 50 mph or more in perfect control. The engine/weight ratio gives more power than can ever be realistically used even if you have a long stretch that is police free. Overall it is a thrill to drive, the cabin is comfortable without being fussy and it growls like a caged tiger with the sport exhaust.

The 991.
The 991.2 Porsche 911 really is the everyday sports car. Not conspicuous but also not mundane. With so many variants available, its hard not to find a 911 that fits YOUR needs and wants. The engine is sublime, the interior is refined and well built, and the cockpit ergonomics are unmatched. After driving a 911 (any variant), any other sub-150K sports car is just Meh. One of the underappreciated aspects of using this car on a daily basis is how easy it is to live with: the outward visibility is excellent, the tech is great, and the car is comfortable on long drives. When looking for your first 911, you should consider with a well-loved 991. I prefer the "Dot 2's" because of the turbo engine and the Apple CarPlay but the 991.1's have a charm of their own and shouldn't be discounted. One of the few drawbacks to any 911 is the road noise...you will have to get used to hearing those big tires hitting the road and if you drive on rough roads the majority of the time you WILL be annoyed (maybe look at a NSX or a C8 instead). Otherwise, you will not regret the ownership experience!

Under Rated
I think the 964 has gotten a bum rap. I have owned a 1992 Model 964 for 7 years. It has been very reliable. It isn't particularly fast by contemporary standards but fast enough for most traffic and road conditions. I was a bit concerned about the dual mass flywheel issue with the 964 but after forking over a few thousand for various deferred maintenance shortly after buying the car it has been very trouble free.

1994 911 Carrera 4 Widebody
1994 Carrera 4 widebody owner. My favorite Porsche so far. I’ve owned 911s (77, 70, 73, 91 Carrara 4, 99), 912, 912E and 944. This is one of 267 made. Best all around driving experience. I’ve put 30k miles of the 138k miles on the dial. Very few issues. Mostly maintenance. Bullet proof car, a blast to drive. Not the fastest car, but for the era, the design and mechanicals are great. Car gets looks and compliments each time I drive it. Enthusiasts know what it is and drool over it. These cars have doubled in price in the last 4 years. Very happy with it.

Great car and worthy of being called a classic!
The last year of the true 911's If you love sports cars, real sports cars than this is a fine choice. still air cooled, no power steering, no power brakes, and no hydraulic clutch coupled with the extremely reliable 915 gear box and 240HP 3.2litre flat 6 makes this a drivers car. From 1987 and up porsche changed all these systems aforementioned with the exception of the air cooling and engine displacement. The feedback is tremendous in this car and although the clutch is stiff and it's not so nice in a tight parking lot get it rolling and the more you depress the throttle the more it responds to your inputs. The 915 gearbox is an excellent box and gets a bad rap due to todays idea that manuals are to be bludgeoned into gear in under a millisecond (nonsense!). This trans will "make you get it right" Not like the days of double clutching before synchronizers but it takes a 1/2 second to find it's place. I personally love the feel of a true classic gearbox as opposed to the more sought after G-50 from 87 up. If you like the feel of the G-50 buy an Iroc-z thats what it came with! The engine makes a superb noise particularly under full load but can be bothersome on long highway trips. Comfort is top notch as the interior is well done. The seats are quality hand stitched ventilated leather, very supportive, well bolstered as well as being 5-way adjustable. The heating system as all earlier 911 is hokey at best but will cook you out if you want it too. Instrumentation is as it should be with a large tachometer in the center of the cluster and speedo on the right. The necessary gauges and information that should go with a performance automobile of this calibre are contained within the cluster as well. All guages are visible without distraction or undue effort to view them. while the brakes take effort they are incredibly good, with little fade and superb feel. While these 911's can be expensive to work on they are notoriously reliable. With many examples having been literally to the moon milage wise without overhaul . Many were daily drivers and as such suffer from rust in the midwest and states that salt their roads. It also seems to effect long term electrical reliability since much of the electrics are not well sealed or flat out exposed to the elements. This year of the 911 is less refined than those that follow but thats the entire reason to own this year. That being said, have a good Porsche mechanic look it over first before you buy, or you may have regrets If it kills the deal so be it, they made allot of these and you will most certainly find another good car. As a foot note the Cabriolets are much noisier and lack in handling when compared to the coupes. This is due to using softer suspension to help cope with the loss of chassis rigidity in the Cabrio. Also note that what you give up in handling you gain in ride comfort as the Cab has a surprisingly fine and supple ride and still sticks far beyond where most drivers will take it.

Best sports car I’ve ever owned,
Owned a corvette, a viper, the 911 and the boxster. I’d say the boxster s was a bit more fun to drive, and like both porsches equally for different reasons. Test drove BMWs on multiple occasions, never liked any of them. Test drove a couple of ferraris, a bit too small and expensive. Same for the NSX. Bought it 2 years old and got a great price. The targa 4s that I currently have, has some nice 911 features, including the large retractable roof, and the pop up rear window, for easy access to the back seat.
