1989 Porsche 944 review
My first Porsche. It's 50-50 weight balance is THAT much fun to drive! For the price you pay now, you are getting a lot of technology that are on top level sports sedans and sports cars of today, even. So they are a bargain! Repair isn't a whole lot more than for most Japanese family cars. The PCA is a great reference.

1987 Porsche 944 review
If you want a fast car - start with a fast car! This is a 2700 lb 300hp near 50/50 balanced high performance sports car that even today 31 years later it still far exceeds what you can buy new in the sports cars under $35k range. Plus its easy to drive under all conditions, ownership costs are low for a well sorted example. Not much of a back seat.

1987 Porsche 944 review
The Porsche 944 is one of the greatest "drivers" cars of all time, born from Porsche racing and bred to be affordable it's excellent bang for your buck. With the front engine and rear transaxle design you get a near 50/50 weight distribution and the feeling that the car pivots around the driver in the tightest curves and handles near better than any modern car.

1987 Porsche 944 review
The Naturally Aspirated isn't the fasted of the 944, but it is still quick, and turns on a dume. Way before it's time, and under appreciated it. very few complaints. I would say, as a mid-late 80's car, the electronics were what had the most issues. Since it was fuel injected, the gas mileage was always great. The car today 2018 still almost has zero rust, which is almost unheard of.

1983 Porsche 944 review
I've owned a dozen sport cars including 911s, the 944 beats them all. It makes a crummy driver like me look good. Forget power to weight ratio, torque is what you want. The 944 delivers everything. Mine increased in value $600- last year. Easy to work on and they don't rust. Step up to Porsche quality, you won't regret it. BTW I am a PCA CVR member and have enjoyed my 944T for 20 years.

1984 Porsche 944 review
From the striking looks to the silky smooth inline 4 the 944 is one of the best cars in the world. it also happens to be an incredible bargain at the same time. Of course with any Porsche the maintenance is going to be expensive, however everything except the timing belt can be done at home in a matter of minutes. the owner's manual explains how to do things from oil changes to the brakes. And oh yeah, did i mention how it drives? The steering is sharp and gives tonnes of feedback. They don't call the 944 the best handling car in the world for nothing. The suspension soaks up every turn while the steering tells you to go faster. Its great! This is not however a dragster. it does the run in 8.3 witch is the same as an old Toyota Avalon. the sunroof is a great feature because you can remove the large panel over your head and have a nice open air car but with the rigidity and safety of a coupe. All over the web there are buyers guides but my advice is get and inspection done at a good Porsche mechanic before you buy it. If you pick a good one you will soon see why Porsche's motto in the eighties was "nothing even comes close" Happy motoring!

East Coast Auto Source review
I bought 2011 Honda Pilot EX in 2016 from East Coast Auto Source. It had bullet holes in the body and some shot out windows. I repaired the bullet holes, and had the other repairs completed. Car ran well and it needed some other work. Nine years later, we have 211,000 more miles on the Pilot. It was a good price and East Coast Auto Source was upfront and honest about the repairs and had the car shipped to my mechanic. I would bought another car in 2024 from them and I am happy with the deal.
