This car has been maligned as having reliability issues due to IMS issues and bore scoring. From what I can gather, bore scoring occurs from improper maintenance and driving beyond 7200 rpm. Maybe I am wrong as I am no mechanic--far from it. If you know the car has a good history as did mine, with one owner and regular oil changes and dealer inspections, it is hard to go wrong. I did a PPI with an independent mechanic and as far as he could see past the spark plugs he found no issues and no leaks or evidence of same on the underside. Every time I drive this car I have a smile on my face. What is that worth?

I've owned a 2006 Cayman S for five years and just sold it to upgrade to my current 2010 Cayman S. Although the exterior and interior look the same from 10 feet, there are many improvements I've noticed in both as I get comfortable with this car. Much of the interior controls have been upgraded. The car is much quieter overall than my 2006. Suspension seems more compliant but still plenty capable. These cars are fast, fun, reliable and have plenty of interior storage for two-person trips. I plan to put 200,000 miles on this thing.

My GT4 is the most fun car I’ve ever owned, and I’ve had multiple BMW ‘M’ cars. As someone else mentioned, not a drag car although 4.1 secs 0-60 is no slouch. It revels in cornering, I’ve often said “I’ve never met a corner I couldn’t go around faster the next time”! I’m 6’5” and apart from being a contortionist getting in and out, it’s dry comfortable for me once sitting in the carbon fiber buckets.

If you have a dream car in mind this is the place to go. Call Scott Brand he went way beyond the call of duty here by finding a Dodge Challenger SRT8 plum crazy purple. We live 5 hours away and Scott made it so easy with getting it financed as well as making us feel like family. He defiantly was a pleasure to do business with and plan to contact him when my daughter is ready.

4th Porsche and my favorite. Mid-engine platform superior to anything else. Handles like it’s on rails, relatively inexpensive to own, and the howl of the Porsche flat 6.

This is a first class operation. In and out quick with a complimentary car wash included. you feel pampered at this dealership. Michelle in Service, was very attentive. I like the window into the garage and the text updates including video of the safety checks are new to me. As a tech geek, I found this very cool too.

Over the years I’ve owned 2 Carrera’s, a MB SL 550, a Maserati and a Ferrari 360. For the price, the Cayman ranks right up there with the best!

Contacted Service Dept. (Ray the bald guy) to resolve issue with a code Contacted Henderson Chev Service (Ray the bald guy) regarding a service code. Ray took me right in, called me after a short time, advised me I had a failing high pressure fuel pump. I was in a bind needing my vehicle for the Labor Day trip planned. He was very accommodating, had the vehicle repaired and back to me the following day. What great service!!! Thanks Ray.....

It’s all good, the 2.7 is very sweet! It does lack 35lbs of torque, but nothing the PDK and 4000 rpm can’t fix. Love this thing in agate grey👌

2nd Cayman 2.7M. Bought first New in 2006 as my daily driver. Drunk driver totaled it with 132K Miles in 2019, only repair besides normal maintenance was an Air Oil Separator at 89K Miles. Fantastic Car. Got 2014 Cayman 2.7M in 2019 with 15K Miles. 2014 is a much better car. Enjoying it at 38K Miles and will keep as long as I can drive.

They have nice cars and are easy to work with. I recommend them for cars that have a bit of personality for sure.

2011 Cayman S, Carrera White w/ Black & Carbon Fiber Appointment, 3.4L Flat 6 Cyl, Sport Exhaust, 7 Spd PDK w/ Sport Chrono. My First Porsche. What can I say, I've driven performance and luxury cards, this car is the best I have ever driven. I am left smiling every single day I drive it. It is fast, aggressively styled, and drives like a go-cart that is connected to your brain. The feeling of control and road connectivity are nothing short of amazing. It seems to start turning the millisecond I think about the upcoming curve. It truly feels like an extension of your body at times. The PDK transmission is a thing of engineering beauty as well. In "Normal" mode, it feels like a daily driver, smooths low rev shifts, great gas mileage. Put it in "Sport" mode, and it becomes a road sensing and tight, more responsive throttle and shift points move up the rev scale. In Manual Shift and Sport mode the car feels moody and aggressive, like nothing under 4k RPM will do.. Move to Sport Plus, and it 2x as aggressive, too aggressive for the road, ready for a few timed laps at the track. The interior is very comfortable, the controls, although countless, are all within easy reach and clearly labeled. The appointment is great, mine has carbon fiber accessories, and fittings that give it a bit more of a performance look on the interior. The sport 12 way seats are comfortable and very adjustable given that the engine is 12" behind you. Vented and heated, which is nice. Material quality is good, some plastic and soft surface materials that show scuffs, but otherwise cleans up beautifully and is finely appointed. There is cabin noise, a little from the road and a little from the hum and occasional roar of the engine. Crank up the Bose Premium Sound System and you wont even notice it.. But, if you are like me, and like the road noise a little and *love* to hear my car. The Cayman S is like a growling dog that turns into a symphony as the revs go up, harmonics and all. I sometime don't want to listen to music. Storage is ample, but don't plan on a week vacation for 2. Golf clubs fit but are tight, and eat up much of the interior stowage. Overall, I can't say a bad thing about the car, it is fun and powerful, and provides a driving experience that I think is second to none. This relationship could last...

Excellent car for the money. We have the base 2.7 manual and although not the fastest..it is still a thrill to drive with it's kart-like handling. Reliability has been good as long as service is kept up. A long term keeper!!

The Cayman R is amazing on all levels. The R handles like a race car but is soft enough for the street. The mid-engine configuration (which is also leveraged by the factory Porsche race team for their GTLM entries) is superior. This car will be a collectable very soon as only 461 made it to the US.

The GT4 is the ultimate sports car. It's very fast but not a dragster- if you want to go fast in a strait line, get a corvette or Tesla. This thing is all about the joy of a road course. It's like a ferrari 458 for a 1/3 the cost. Yeah, GT3 is faster, but not more fun.

Vehicle is the perfect little sports car, with the right amount of power. This car was difficult to find, especially because it is a manual. We have had many Porsches including a GT4 and currently GT3 RS, by far this is the most fun car for driving around town and perfect for everyday use.
