I spend about $1000-$2000 each year on maintenance. One may consider that high, but I purchased a 911 C4S car for $35,000; the MSRP was $93,000 in 2004. The vehicle has appreciated since 2019, and now, with such a detailed service history over the years, it could sell for $40,000. So you either pay in depreciation or maintenance, and though I may be a stickler for maintenance, it keeps the value stable. I could have gotten a new Camry for $35,000, but it would be worth about $15,000 now and less fun. Next car I will jump up to a 2012 to 2015 Porsche. You can't go wrong if you get the right model, rare options, and even rare colors. Number one is having complete maintenance records; don't buy one without them.

Terrific car and the best I have ever owned Comfort downgraded because the leather seats are just too hard, a common problem with leather seating. Lexus uses much softer leather, making their seats much more comfortable for a long drive. Wouldn't need heated seats if not for the leather seating surfaces. Fabric is MUCH more comfortable. Interior design is excellent except for the extensive use of bright metal accents which should never be used in a convertible. Solved with matte black vinyl wrap. Infotainment system is an unmitigated disaster - it simply fails to work much too often, specifically Apple CarPlay works only about half the time, backup camera often fails to display, and sometimes the display shows nothing but "Loading Home." This should be simple to fix but local dealer refuses or is incapable of doing the right thing. This is a terrific $50K sports car; too bad it costs so much more. Reliability downgraded only because of infotainment problems. No mechanical issues.

In the market for a new car, I knew I wanted a convertible. I had been youtubing a number of cars, but couldn't decide on what could check every box on my list, something practical, fast, exotic, and a sound that got my blood pumping. I stopped by my local Porsche dealership in Indianapolis and drove a 911 4S and instantly fell in love. Instead of buying right then and there, I went home and built one online in hopes that I could find it somewhere in the US. Insert Euroclassics! Given his over 8 years Porsche service experience, every question I had was answered and he even shared some maintenance tidbits that would help keep the car out trouble. 90% of our conversation were via phone and email and I never felt uncomfortable about buying a car I had only seen via pics on the internet. Once, we decided on purchasing the car, Drew handed the reins over to the Finance Manager, Kari Schwear, who couldn't have been any more close to perfect throughout the process. Kari worked hard to explain all items needed upon delivery and even more tirelessly to get me the best rate possible. She and Drew explained the different warranty packages (which I highly recommend purchasing) and all the necessary documents needed for my state of residence. She is a Porsche enthusiast true and through and a very kind soul. I highly recommend Euroclassics even if you live across the country. The dealership, the service, the insight, the kindness, the conversation, and the all around experience was the way car buying should be. The car is perfect. Looks fabulous, handles magnificently, is solid and fast. Nothing ever seems to go wrong with it. Oh’ it is a cabriolet and is perfect for the Texas climate. No additional comments needed.
