I have had 3 Boxster s over the years and this one for over 10. Loved every minute driving it. Great pick up and handling plus two trunks to allow for hauling things. A real head turner. Just need to maintain it for it to keep running well. I'm only selling mine cause we moved down a dirt road and its too rutted for a sports car. I got it for a great price, so letting it go for thousands less than it's blue book.

I had been in the market for a 2012 Shelby GT500 when I came across the Auto Palace Ad on Cars.com. I sent in a request for information which was responded to immediately by Steve Blackwell. We spoke a few times by phone and he was super helpful, even found financing that beat my bank by a large margin! I lived over 325 miles away so did a Fly and Drive with my 2 boys. Steve gave us the royal treatment and even arranged a ride to the dealership from my Hotel near the airport! We were even treated to a tour of the facility and of their private collection of Automobiles which was very interesting and extensive. The paper work was painless as everything was prepared and before we knew it we were on our way back home. The car ran flawlessly and even averaged 23 .8 MPG on the drive home. What can I say, the benchmark of sports cars. I have a 4S Cabrio. I chose the 4 as I like all-wheel-drive, even in Florida. Better grip. The S also has more horsepower. Build quality and fit and finish our superb. The ultimate sports car without all the problems of the Italian cars. You’d be hard to find a car with better handling and Performance. The look is timeless. There’s no mistake at what you’re looking at when you see a Porsche. Great car.

Steve Blackwell, and later Jake Dunks-Campbell, have both been amazing when it came to taking care of my Cayenne E-Hybrid order. The discount and service has been amazing, and I was not pressured at any time to place the order. I've stuck through with the order since October '18, and I completely plan on following through on leasing the Cayenne this September. The 991.2 Porsche 911 really is the everyday sports car. Not conspicuous but also not mundane. With so many variants available, its hard not to find a 911 that fits YOUR needs and wants. The engine is sublime, the interior is refined and well built, and the cockpit ergonomics are unmatched. After driving a 911 (any variant), any other sub-150K sports car is just Meh. One of the underappreciated aspects of using this car on a daily basis is how easy it is to live with: the outward visibility is excellent, the tech is great, and the car is comfortable on long drives. When looking for your first 911, you should consider with a well-loved 991. I prefer the "Dot 2's" because of the turbo engine and the Apple CarPlay but the 991.1's have a charm of their own and shouldn't be discounted. One of the few drawbacks to any 911 is the road noise...you will have to get used to hearing those big tires hitting the road and if you drive on rough roads the majority of the time you WILL be annoyed (maybe look at a NSX or a C8 instead). Otherwise, you will not regret the ownership experience!

Owned a corvette, a viper, the 911 and the boxster. I’d say the boxster s was a bit more fun to drive, and like both porsches equally for different reasons. Test drove BMWs on multiple occasions, never liked any of them. Test drove a couple of ferraris, a bit too small and expensive. Same for the NSX. Bought it 2 years old and got a great price. The targa 4s that I currently have, has some nice 911 features, including the large retractable roof, and the pop up rear window, for easy access to the back seat.

Service department is always courteous and professional. Car service was completed before the expected completion time. The loaner car was clean and in good condition.

Words do not do it justice. This car is simply stunning visually, growls delightfully, and it's a dream to drive, incredibly responsive and shifts so smoothly. After a lifetime of exceptionally cool/classic/prizewinning cars - I do believe this one will turn out to be my all-time favorite. My apologies to my Jaguar clubs!

When you buy a Porsche 911 you buy it because of its performance. My car now has 96,000 mile are runs and drives as it should. I do several DE track days every year. It has never let me down. It is amazing to drive, steers like it is on rails, stops on a dime, and goes as fast as I need it to go. What a great car!!

I have had my '02 base 6 speed manual Carrera Coupe for about 5 years. It was a car I had checked out, but my wife bought for my 50th. I love the car. I do some "spirited drives" with a great group of folks early Sunday mornings (when the back roads are pretty empty). The car is just a blast to drive hard. I have never come close to finding its limits in terms of cornering. It can be driven quite sedately if you keep it under about 4,000 RPMs. Fine around town. Stop and go traffic is obviously a pain with any manual car, but the clutch is a little stiffer than, say, a Honda. Road trips are fine if you can fit, and it's a bit noisy on the highway from tire noise. I was interested in the 911 over a used Cayman (or Miata, etc.) because I can put my kids in the back (they are 4 and 7, and they LOVE pulling "g-forces" The main downside is this is a 22 year old car with a list of things that really need to be replaced. Not because they are broken, but just standard maintenance. I need a transmission rebuild to fix an occasional issue with 2nd gear. Rear main seal. Check the IMS bearing. Water pump. Then the suspension and engine mounts probably need to be gone over. All this is probably $12,000-$15,000. Bottom line, these 996 911s can be had for mid-20's, but it's still a Porsche. You don't get Honda-priced parts when you need to replace something.

My car had the IMS bearing replaced. With that said it has been a very reliable car. I use it as an everyday driver and also on the autocross track for fun. It now has 75k miles and is still a very trusted driver. I love this car!
