GT4RS is awesome. GT3 engine in a mid-engine configuration. YES. Car is not too harsh for the street either. Car is loud inside. Buy it before its gone.

In the market for a new car, I knew I wanted a convertible. I had been youtubing a number of cars, but couldn't decide on what could check every box on my list, something practical, fast, exotic, and a sound that got my blood pumping. I stopped by my local Porsche dealership in Indianapolis and drove a 911 4S and instantly fell in love. Instead of buying right then and there, I went home and built one online in hopes that I could find it somewhere in the US. Insert Euroclassics! A gently used 911 4S with everything I wanted and a few things I didn't know I wanted. I called Euroclassics on Monday and spoke with Drew Hardiman. Not only was Drew personable, knowledgeable and not pushy, his passion for Porsche resonated in every conversation. He was timely and honest with his responses. Given his over 8 years Porsche service experience, every question I had was answered and he even shared some maintenance tidbits that would help keep the car out trouble. 90% of our conversation were via phone and email and I never felt uncomfortable about buying a car I had only seen via pics on the internet. Once, we decided on purchasing the car, Drew handed the reins over to the Finance Manager, Kari Schwear, who couldn't have been any more close to perfect throughout the process. Kari worked hard to explain all items needed upon delivery and even more tirelessly to get me the best rate possible. She and Drew explained the different warranty packages (which I highly recommend purchasing) and all the necessary documents needed for my state of residence. She is a Porsche enthusiast true and through and a very kind soul. I highly recommend Euroclassics even if you live across the country. The dealership, the service, the insight, the kindness, the conversation, and the all around experience was the way car buying should be. The 991.2 Porsche 911 really is the everyday sports car. Not conspicuous but also not mundane. With so many variants available, its hard not to find a 911 that fits YOUR needs and wants. The engine is sublime, the interior is refined and well built, and the cockpit ergonomics are unmatched. After driving a 911 (any variant), any other sub-150K sports car is just Meh. One of the underappreciated aspects of using this car on a daily basis is how easy it is to live with: the outward visibility is excellent, the tech is great, and the car is comfortable on long drives. When looking for your first 911, you should consider with a well-loved 991. I prefer the "Dot 2's" because of the turbo engine and the Apple CarPlay but the 991.1's have a charm of their own and shouldn't be discounted. One of the few drawbacks to any 911 is the road noise...you will have to get used to hearing those big tires hitting the road and if you drive on rough roads the majority of the time you WILL be annoyed (maybe look at a NSX or a C8 instead). Otherwise, you will not regret the ownership experience!

We drove from Ohio to look at a pre-owned 911 Carrera S Cabriolet. It was well worth the drive! The salesman Jon was very helpful. Many emails were exchanged prior to our trip and he always responded quickly with answers to our questions. We had a good deal negotiated before we got there, but Jon ended up making it an even better deal!! The car is amazing and in exactly the condition the pictures showed it to be (actually looked even better in person). Jon kept telling us we wouldn't be disappointed and he was right! Kari was amazing as well. The purchasing process could not have been easier. And she loves dogs! When we're in the market for our next Porsche, I will certainly give Jon a call.
