This is my 3rd Porsche and this time I chose the 911 T. I wanted a xxxxx to the wall driving experience in the Smokie Mountains near my home. The T does not disappoint. It performs flawlessly. It hugs the corners -I can easily take 25 mph at 50 mph or more in perfect control. The engine/weight ratio gives more power than can ever be realistically used even if you have a long stretch that is police free. Overall it is a thrill to drive, the cabin is comfortable without being fussy and it growls like a caged tiger with the sport exhaust.

GT4RS is awesome. GT3 engine in a mid-engine configuration. YES. Car is not too harsh for the street either. Car is loud inside. Buy it before its gone.

Excellent group to work with even for an out of towner who never met in person. I found a pretty rare vehicle almost immediately after it was listed online by Genuine. Despite the fact they were obviously just receiving the vehicle, I pressed them to move forward as quickly as possible which they did. They took photos just for me and sent them over within a couple hours of my first contact. Within a couple more hours they had lined up the paperwork, and even made a couple quick changes that I requested that some dealers may have refused. Despite the fact I was purchasing from 300 miles away their proactive and professional response left me feeling very comfortable from start to finish. I spend about $1000-$2000 each year on maintenance. One may consider that high, but I purchased a 911 C4S car for $35,000; the MSRP was $93,000 in 2004. The vehicle has appreciated since 2019, and now, with such a detailed service history over the years, it could sell for $40,000. So you either pay in depreciation or maintenance, and though I may be a stickler for maintenance, it keeps the value stable. I could have gotten a new Camry for $35,000, but it would be worth about $15,000 now and less fun. Next car I will jump up to a 2012 to 2015 Porsche. You can't go wrong if you get the right model, rare options, and even rare colors. Number one is having complete maintenance records; don't buy one without them.

The 991.2 Porsche 911 really is the everyday sports car. Not conspicuous but also not mundane. With so many variants available, its hard not to find a 911 that fits YOUR needs and wants. The engine is sublime, the interior is refined and well built, and the cockpit ergonomics are unmatched. After driving a 911 (any variant), any other sub-150K sports car is just Meh. One of the underappreciated aspects of using this car on a daily basis is how easy it is to live with: the outward visibility is excellent, the tech is great, and the car is comfortable on long drives. When looking for your first 911, you should consider with a well-loved 991. I prefer the "Dot 2's" because of the turbo engine and the Apple CarPlay but the 991.1's have a charm of their own and shouldn't be discounted. One of the few drawbacks to any 911 is the road noise...you will have to get used to hearing those big tires hitting the road and if you drive on rough roads the majority of the time you WILL be annoyed (maybe look at a NSX or a C8 instead). Otherwise, you will not regret the ownership experience!

When you buy a Porsche 911 you buy it because of its performance. My car now has 96,000 mile are runs and drives as it should. I do several DE track days every year. It has never let me down. It is amazing to drive, steers like it is on rails, stops on a dime, and goes as fast as I need it to go. What a great car!!

My service advisor who goes by the name of “E” was exceptional and very accommodating. They did not have a loaner at the time at dropped it off but he made sure he got one and let me use Uber to get back and forth to the dealership. Picked up a loaner a few days later. He did a great job!

If you can afford this beast, you will fall in love in no time at all! It's fast, handles like a true sports car, and turns heads like you wouldn't believe (regardless if whether you're into that sort of thing or not). Positives: it's a (rare) manual, it's low and sleek, it's luxurious, it has two trunks (one of them a frunk), and you won't see many GT4's out on the road. Negatives: it's really low to the ground making it hard to get in and out of, it's quite expensive (mine was $135K used), the trunks are small (ie. it doesn't carry much), the gas mileage is mediocre, and maintenance costs are on the higher side. For a car enthusiast, however, this car will get your juices going just thinking about taking it out for a drive!
