I bought my 1999 996 in early 1999. I love the styling and it drives like a dream. A daily drive for me these days with 85000 miles. The clutch was replaced after 50000 miles and I have the oil changed every 3000 miles. My mechanic has been taking care of it for over 20 years now. I asked about the IMS issue and am told there is no evidence of any problem. If you stay ahead of maintenance you will have the best automobile you could ever own.

Terry was super helpful and I was finally able to find the car I wanted after searching for months. The process was quick and easy. I was able to show up, test drive the car, and then was back in a few days to purchase it. He keeps the cars in amazing shape and really cares about the cars and the history behind them. I was not looking for a classic car but he was nice enough to show me some in his collection and I was blown away by his knowledge and appreciation for these classics. My 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera (996) is an example of German engineering at its finest. The known IMS bearing issue was taken care of, allowing me to have no reservations about driving the car anywhere. Although it's not a turbo model, the car performs like it's made for racing. The Spanish word 'Carrera' translates to 'race'. When you put the car thru its paces you know why it is named such.

We had a great visit with Terry. We took a look at and sat in a really nice used Mini Cooper that he has for sale. The car was as advertised and the rest of his inventory was quite impressive; classics as well as fairly late model collectible machines.

These cars are very unique and getting more rare. Fun to drive especially the manual trans. Be sure to get a PPI if you are looking to buy. Good service and upkeep is a must and will cost $1500. -2000 per year. Higher in years when you have timing belt, tires , brakes , etc. Parts are pricey and you need a shop that has experience with this era of Porsche. But definitely worth it!

I have a Panamera 4 and it is the best car I have ever owned. After 5 years it has never let me down- not even once- and besides the recall notices that were always handled during regularly scheduled visits nothing has needed attention. The fit and finish and styling are still totally on point after all this time. The car looks and drives exactly like it did when new despite 30,000 miles. Also, I have 21’ wheels and thought I would have to replace the tires by now. However, they are chunky and full of tread. I drove 1000 miles in one day last week averaging 77mph and 29.5mpg. Great performance and a long drive in one day. It was so nice on the road and my body despite the longest drive of my life! Fit and finish, quality of the components, and tech that is totally up to date after 5 years. Wow. Loved it! I also own a cayenne and a 2015 Mercedes S class. The Mercedes is not close to the quality unfortunately.
