2020 RAM 3500 review

2021 RAM 3500 review
Well mine is a tradesman. Meaning lowest model. It is a beast. Has plenty of power for a one ton gas engine. I have taken it on a couple of long trips highway drives and I actually got good gas mileage so I am pleased. Only thing I wish I had was a larger information screen. Backup camera is too small for such a big truck

Karma DFW was very responsive. I was interested in a 928 GTS but it turned out to have an automatic transmission. The write up had stated it was a manual transmission but the pics included showed it was an automatic transmission. Karma DFW verified it was an automatic. I was looking for a manual transmission.
2020 RAM 3500 review
This truck has more bells and whistles than any car I've ever owned. Love all the technology. Ram has knocked it out of the ball park with this truck. I can't wait to finally tow a fifth wheel with it next year.

2024 RAM 3500 review
I have owned many trucks, Chevy, Ford and Ram, Ram is outstanding on performance and reliability. I use these trucks for work, heavy loads including excavation equipment, The high output diesel provides great power. Out performs Ford and Chevy hands down. My only complaint is cheap plastic interior parts that show wear easy. Every Ram over the years has been the same cheap plastic parts. Door panels and such mar and scratch easy from normal wear and tear. My opinion is Ram builds a real workhorse. In the past there were a lot of transmission issues, I believe they have resolved those past issues Cummins power is unbeatable and for years the trans just could not handle the power. I have noticed a big difference on the 2024 model, the trans seems to shift better and does not overheat under heavy load. There is a lot of hype about who builds the best truck, and most of that is sales driven commercials. So I give Ram a 9 out of 10 rating totally based on ownership satisfaction, performance, and long term cost of maintaining the truck.

Communication throughout the entire process was excellent. The online price was exactly what I paid (plus tax). No hidden fees or surprise add-ons like you see at some larger dealerships, which was very important to me. Alfonso went above and beyond by checking on the vehicle after the storm to make sure there was no damage and even advised me to wait to test drive until the roads were safe. After purchase, I had a small sensor issue (likely from the freezing temps), and they quickly connected me with a trusted mechanic who fixed it right away. Best car-buying experience I’ve had. I’ll definitely be referring friends and family.

2019 RAM 3500 review
Built solid, tons of room in the crew cab as well as in the long bed, gets better mileage than I thought it would 15.2- City and 17.8 HWY, 8.3 with 22K lb. 5th wheel. I don’t feel the Grand Design 397TH behind it on travel days. This truck is equipped with the 4:10’s H/O, A transmission. The vehicle when bought had 10,500 on it and I just rolled 15,835 with zero issues.

East Dallas Diesel review
We are not from Texas. We are from Oregon. Pandemic hit just as our 2004 duramax decided to quit for the last time with 312,000 miles on it. We found out quick that trucks were hard to come by with all the production interruptions so we widened our search because there was NOTHING in our price range in our area. We started with Portland, then Oregon, then U.S. Thanks to Cargurus we found our truck at East Dallas Diesel. We bought it for a fair price with very nice people. They detail at their shop and it was immaculately displayed. We drove there with a borrowed car and trailer to pick it up. They found us a reasonable hotel until our Oregon financing was completed and even offered to take us to dinner. The truck we bought is 2012 duramax dually and we couldn't be happier. Fuel, blue def and regular oil changes are the only things it has needed and we have put 15,000 miles on it in the 4 months we've had it. They made this deal an absolute dream for an out-of-town buyer. If I ever need another truck, we will skip the rest of the search and start there because I know they will take good care of us. 2015 RAM 3500 review
Exactly what we wanted. Very hard to find a low mileage, clean diesel with 8 ft bed. The dealership held this vehicle for us until we were able to get home and test drive it. We had a 2007 Ford 350 and traded for 2015 Ram 3500.

2020 RAM 3500 review
beats the 6.4 gas motor 2500 towing all day long and in town. The cummins is the only way to go and the HPF pump hasn't been a deal since I pull maintenance. and the new 12" display is awesome!
