I got the 12" touchscreen and the Alpine 9 speaker system with the subwoofer and it is a worthy expense as it actually sounds better than the Harmon Kardon system in the wife's Durango RT Premium, she's jealous. I got 4:10:1 rear with the AISIN Transmission, I could have waited for the TorqueFlight and the additional 75 ft. Lbs of Torque with the 2025 model but I don't like experimenting with 1st year engines and Transmissions, I've had the experience. Plus we got a really great deal that with comparable options 2024 GM and Fords were more money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one but I plan on retiring with this truck, it's a good one! The dealership and factory support are great, I've never had a problem getting anything done within reason and warranty items are no questions asked unless you chipped up your truck. These trucks don't need anymore than what they came with, @1,000 lbs. ft Torque. The post 2019 Cummins 6.7 requires synthetic oil but consider the fact that oil changes can extend two times or more of conventional oil and the benefits pay off. I would not hesitate to recommend this truck.

I have owned many trucks, Chevy, Ford and Ram, Ram is outstanding on performance and reliability. I use these trucks for work, heavy loads including excavation equipment, The high output diesel provides great power. Out performs Ford and Chevy hands down. My only complaint is cheap plastic interior parts that show wear easy. Every Ram over the years has been the same cheap plastic parts. Door panels and such mar and scratch easy from normal wear and tear. My opinion is Ram builds a real workhorse. In the past there were a lot of transmission issues, I believe they have resolved those past issues Cummins power is unbeatable and for years the trans just could not handle the power. I have noticed a big difference on the 2024 model, the trans seems to shift better and does not overheat under heavy load. There is a lot of hype about who builds the best truck, and most of that is sales driven commercials. So I give Ram a 9 out of 10 rating totally based on ownership satisfaction, performance, and long term cost of maintaining the truck.
