Purchased in 2023, new. Had to go back one year to find one without e-torque. Test drove & didn't like it. Right now I have 30,000 trouble free miles on it. I just hope my luck with that last. I have been a GM owner all my life, with two Fords threw in which didn't impress mr at all. I was dissatisfied with my 2010 GMC so I decided to try Ram. I bought a 2017 Bighorn with the 3.6 V6 & was totally happy. 70,000 trouble free miles. I planned on keeping that truck much longer, but, at my age, decided to give it one more shot, so i bought the 2022 with the 5.7 V8. Didn't need the xtra power but decided I'd go for broke. I'm 82, so I'm planning this to be my last truck. I have owned pickups only since 1967, never had any use for a car.

By far the least amount of time spent purchasing a vehicle. We knew the numbers, and got all questions answered in a matter of minutes. They brought the car closer to us and had all paperwork ready to go. It only took 10 minutes and we were on the road in our new car. Well done!

I have had other trucks “gas” and BMW’s ! With gas prices soaring and extremely expensive I traded in the gas for the New Turbo Diesel Cummins 6.7 ! On the highway this motor gets 20-21 miles per gallon with a range of 400-450 miles per fill up! Verified with my own eyes! This Ram 2500 gets better gas mileage than any vehicle I have ever owned ! A bit more expensive, but you’re going to make up for it in fuel! Extremely happy with this Truck! Feels powerful , sounds great, comfortable with a lot of options, cameras all around it so you can see everything surrounding you! I haven’t towed anything yet but what I have heard it even gets better with more weight behind it

3.6 motor experience cold wether limp mode Several times. Dealer claims no update for carburetor freeze up. Stranded on extreme cold days. Very concerned and disappointing

We were in the market to purchase 2 vehicles. One we knew exactly what we were wanting and had actually found Velocity by looking for that vehicle. My Ram gets great gas mileage it has the 3.6 litre V6. The Chevy and Ford F150 each got around 10mpg and I get over 20mpg. It will not pull as much as a V8 but I never pull anything. Very comfortable, smooth ride and quiet. Better than most new cars. Its crew cab 4WD, really a great truck. Must service transmission every 25k miles if you want it to last. This Ram has 170k and shifts very smooth. I drive it normal not hard and take pride in how good it looks and runs. Ram/Dodge is the one I like best over Ford and Chevy. Chevy has fuel management system shuts off cylinders-no good. Ford F 150 leak when it rains-no good. Ram does it good all around no complaints. If buying used its all about condition. Get you next truck checked out if your not sure, ask for records insist on the car fax.

to: Campmeat from Arizona Someone told me my lifters were going bad because when I first started my truck I heard ticking noise until the engine got warm. I took my truck to a honest very hard to find mechanic and he told me I had a hole in my exhaust manifold. I paid $800 and 195,000 miles later still no ticking.

Purchased a 2022 Laramie, RWD, Hemi 5.7L, Crew Cab with 21,000 miles. Other than no nav system, the truck is pristine. I am the 3rd owner; the other two maintained it beautifully. This V8 gets better city/hwy mileage than my for V6, 4x4, Crew Cab Nissan Frontier. I am most please with this vehicle!

Service was quick - took 35 minutes for an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection. The communication was easy with Major (service rep), and the car keeps running great!

Oil cooler leaks bad when tempatures drop below 32 degrees. This happens on yhe 3.6 l engines. Lots of rams leak due to oil cooler being plastic having to replace it with s metal oil cooler..$1300 to repair at shop

I purchased many different trucks over the years and landed recently on my new to me 2017 Ram Laramie 4x4. It does everything well and tows like a semi 5.7 Hemi with 3.92 rear gear and the 8-speed transmission.

I have been looking for a Subaru Baja fora while now and I finally did at carmax in salt lake. I was three hours away and couldn't get out there quickly so they held the car for me. FOR A WEEK. They had people come in and was wanting it.But they still held it. I wish they would negotiate on the price. But I got it at a good price. The car was in top shape and the interior is awesome. My first truck after doing lots of research. Love the ride and room in it. My wife likes the ride and how high you ride to see ahead. More affordable then the other brands out there. Palmer Dodge was great to deal with.

The reason for 4 vs 5 was the financial person had a difficult time staying on task. Too much personal chatter. Our salesman was super.

I bought a 2021 classic 1500 4x2 quad cab with 5.7 Gas engine. There were 2 rear differential axle gear ratio options, mine has the “hiway gear” but the truck pulls with plenty of power, I think most had that gear for fuel economy. I don’t like the idea that if I open the drivers door while in motion , a transmission brake applies and abruptly stops the vehicle. I was parking in a very tight spot and cracked. The door open and to my surprise, , the truck jerked to a sudden stop. I personally do not care for the dash knob to select the gear, it’s another electronic component that can fail, which in fact has failed . in other trucks. The 5.7 Liter engine was designed with the oil filter to be very difficult to reach , almost as if designed ‘outside ‘ the chassis without realizing once ‘in’ the chassis, the oil filter became extremely difficult to reach to replace .

Outdoorsman Trim, 4x4, 5.7 and 6 speed. I bought this truck used in 2020 with 76,000 miles. It looked new and had excellent fit and finish. Car Fax showed 1 owner and well maintained. I always want to drive it everywhere as it is comfortable and smooth. Many modern features in an older truck. Gets about 17 mpg at 65 mph. I tow a travel trailer occassionally. Fitted RAM with E rated tires, Bilsteins and Tuff Truk springs. Great match for my trailer. Engine failed at 132,000 miles due to poorly designed rollers seizing. Do i replace engine or buy new Truck? Love the truck too much. Still in incredibly nice condition so a new engine for $8700 dollars was the decision. Plan to keep the truck as long as possible.

I have a 2022 2500 diesel Longhorn, that has had numerous problems with the DEF SOFTWARE. After 3 to 4 trips (50,000 miles) to the Dealership, they replaced the DEF tank and it seemed to fix the problem. I currently have 56,000+ miles with no further problems. Other than that I am extremely pleased with my 2500 Longhorn.
