This is the most ridiculous vehicle that I've ever owned by a wide margin, and while you can find a car that beats it in one category, taken as a whole, there is no close second for this Swiss Army Knife truck. You can take your lady to a black tie event in style, then load it up for some serious offroading and camping deep in the backcountry. My son's favorite feature is how it handles off-road, despite the modest tires; we often pass bigger traditional ICE off-road vehicles. If you are looking for a commuter, there are better value luxury EVs, but if you want one vehicle that does it all well, this is it. As for downsides, the top of my list is the servicing model. As a small company, you need to schedule far out. No calling to get a same-day or same-week service appt. like a legacy company with multiple local dealers to choose from. Luckily EVs in general don't need to go into the shop often.

Me and my wife were searching for a wagon because our Volvo had gotten totaled. We met with Andrew out on the lot and he walked us through all the cool features on this car. We never owned an Audi but heard a lot of good things about it through a friend. Once we drove it we knew we had to move forward. Came back later that night and Andrew was extremely efficient throughout the whole process. We love our Allroad!

Supercar fast with truck utility and serious off-road capability. Best truck I’ve ever owned. Kids love riding in it and crawling through tunnel. A great first truck from Rivian.

Very easy to work with. The car I was interested in sold a before I arrived. They rep showed me a few other options and let me test drive two other vehicles. Those vehicles didn’t work out, but I’m hoping to do business with them soon.

Put the refundable deposit down in July ‘21 and our truck arrived Dec ‘22. We have 7,435 miles as of today with zero problems. I rotated the AT tires at approximately 5k miles and it looks like we might get 30k miles out of them. Not bad considering the performance and weight of this truck. Everyone that has ridden in or driven our truck has been blown away. We were lucky enough to have gotten it before the price went up, but after having owned it for the last 7 months, it would still have be worth it after the price increase. Hard to find a vehicle that checks so many boxes. I grew up driving F-250/F-350’s and this obviously can’t carry what they can. It also isn’t a RWD sports car. But it fits our needs and lifestyle perfectly. We love this truck and have no regrets at all about purchasing it. Drive one if you get the opportunity!

Had three different sales people contact me .Found out that I am a second class person when it came down to the loan since I had joint car payment already With the wife she would need to sign as well . Not the dealerships fault just I wanted to buy one for myself without the wife’s consent she was not willing .

There is really no other vehicle like this on the road. It’s ride quality is great. It’s quiet, fast and off-road capable. The interior design of the cabin is excellent and tasteful. It’s the epitome of form plus functionality.

I received an immediate and thorough response to my inquiry. My first reaction was to explain, via email, that this was not the for me. As I thought about impressed I was by the sales representative, I decided to drive down the next day to check out the car. In person, the car was much sharper than I expected and we made the deal!

We were in the market to purchase 2 vehicles. One we knew exactly what we were wanting and had actually found Velocity by looking for that vehicle. We searched around for a few weeks but kept going back to the vehicle that Velocity had listed due to the lower price, lower mileage and overall value. We finally pulled the trigger yesterday and went in to test drive the vehicle. Instantly fell in love and ended up finding another vehicle on their Draper lot for our second purchase. I originally ordered an R1S in Jan 2021 and waited nearly 3.5 years for it to be ready. When they first opened up test drives I nearly canceled my order due to the ride quality of the early builds. However, once it became time to take delivery, the software improvements drastically changed the character of this truck. It honestly sealed the deal given how much better it was, and there was yet another release to address ride quality after delivery which turned this into an extremely comfortable vehicle—on par with the X7, Q7, etc… The air suspension is truly a boon to the capabilities and ride quality as well. Ride quality aside, the performance is unbelievable both in terms of handling and acceleration, especially given the size and weight. On top of that, the ability to go from sport mode and a 3s 0-60 to off road mode with nearly 15” of ground clearance really puts this vehicle in a league of its own. The interior quality is very good, especially compared to Tesla, but not quite luxury-level, though all the details still make it feel special. There are a few rattles here and there, but nothing too out of the ordinary, and all the materials feel nice. Additionally, the range is dead on, and I usually get 2-3 mi/kwh, which is great for a 7000lb suv. In terms of the footprint, the vehicle is both agile and easy to maneuver, yet has tons of interior space and storage. The glass roof really adds to the openness as well, and the heat in the cabin from it hasn’t been bad comparatively. The one gripe I do have is that the suspension is very noisy, and there’s not any remedy for that. Gen 2 is far quieter, but all in all it’s not a deal breaker given how capable and versatile the vehicle is. All the pieces of this vehicle combined really make for such a special package, especially given that they’re still in the early years and not ubiquitous (yet). This is my 9th car and I’ve had many BMWs, a Tesla, and a M-B, yet this one always makes me smile every time I see it and get to drive it. It truly feels like a remarkable machine (and is incredibly fun too).
