Carsmart SalesReviews
Carsmart Sales review
I came over 50 miles to buy my 99 Infiniti from Dave at Carsmart Sales, Inc., and here's why: I had been looking online at everything in my limited price range and was becoming more and more frustrated. People were listing junk for thousands of dollars, and as a senior, I am on a limited budget. I needed something I could afford, and not something I would have to pour thousands into. I found the Infiniti, called Dave, and the next day I was able to get a ride to Loves Park and take delivery. Not only was the car perfect, but Dave was awesome! Do NOT hesitate to see Dave and purchase one of his cars. He - and Carsmart Sales - are the real deal you seldom find these days.
2011 Chrysler 200 review
My 2011 Chrysler 200 has been a joy to own. At 200,000 the engine went out but repaired would be about 5k so I guess it will go to car heaven since I can’t afford to replace the engine. Just put $600 set of tires and new battery. I am truly going to miss it.

2007 Toyota RAV4 review
I've owned dozens and dozens of car and this one has impressed me the most. Tons of power from the V6, typical Toyota reliability, very ergonomic, and very capable. I've hauled weight in this thing that would rival any truck and pulled a trailer that was double it's load rating. I can't say enough good things about it CONS: Brakes are just two small for this weight! The side opening rear door

2002 Saturn SL review
I bought this car 3 years ago with 42k miles at a very low price. The car has performed well since day 1 and, despite Saturn being no longer in business, most parts are AC Delco (GM) and easy to find. Easy to service and the auto trans can be serviced similarly to the way you’d change your engine oil. Quiet, smooth ride and high gas mileage. I have the 2002 SL1 model with the 1.9 single cam. It’s not powerful but it’s a wonderful daily driver in packed city traffic. Economic and easy to service/maintain. I have had high end brand cars in the past and have others, but somehow I like driving this better. The feeling is like being on the couch and at the wheel at the same time! These SLs were reliable cars, I am contemplating getting one for me as well like a 10th anniversary edition or the like.

2009 Hyundai SANTA FE review
I have owned my 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe for 7 years, I am the second owner of this vehicle. It is now 2026 and this vehicle is still going strong. This by far has been my favorite of all the vehicles I have owned. Fun to drive, excellent in the worst of winter road conditions, reliable, safe, comfortable, loads of room and just an overall great vehicle. Though it is getting old, my hope is it will hold on for at least a couple more winters for me...right now I wouldn't be surprised if it makes it to see 20. It is a bit of a gas guzzler, so definitely not the vehicle to buy if you are looking for super fuel efficiency.

2009 Lexus RX 350 review
Bought this 2009 RX350 in September of 08. I've owned Volvo, Acura, Mercedes and Range Rover (the worst!). Just about to hit 300,000 miles with VERY few problems. Love the car. But as stated earlier in some reviews the dashboard has developed many hair line cracks. That's why I gave it a 4 on interior. But still the very best car I have ever owned and will now only buy Lexus/Toyota vehicles.

Purchased my first car from him when I was 16. An 01 Tiburon 5 speed that i fell in love with. Car ran great for 4 years before I decided on a newer car. After a couple years I was in a need a car now situation and went back to him. He let me know what was available as well as what he had coming in. I love my Mazda and he was very patient with us through the buying process even though he was on his way out the door when we came in. Would highly recommend going to him for any of your car needs!
2010 Hyundai Accent review
Small and simple great first car 👍 not super reliable like a Honda but still seems really reliable, I bought mine for $2,800 2 years ago still running extremely well today with 160,000 miles. Small engine and easy to repair, only real repair I've had to do on it is a water pump, expect a cheap economy car if you take good care of it then it will treat you right.

2016 Mitsubishi Lancer review
I bought my 2016 Lancer 5 days ago and I already love it. I put it on the main highway and got it up to 100 mph and it did not feel like I was going that fast. It very easy to drive. It a simple car and that is fine with me ( I dont have to have all that modern stuff to drive a car.) With everything that I read about the car on line I thought I had made the wrong decision but after I drove it I knew it was the right car and right decision for me. I will post again after I have had the car for a while.

This car has the best engine in its class; straight 6-cylinder; best engine BMW has made. Excellent car for daily driving. Fuel consumption is @ 23-26 mpg.

Kunes Hyundai of Sycamore review
My wife and I experienced a serious overheating problem in our Santa Fe while driving from our home in Kansas City to Chicago. We found Kunes Hyundai online and were blown away by the superior service they offered. Kyle served as our service advisor, and he went above and beyond to take care of us. He patiently explained the problem, told us they had to order a part, and promised the vehicle would be done by Tuesday. When I left the facility, Kyle said he was on the phone trying to work a little magic to get the part sooner. I don't know who he called or what he said, but he worked the magic. The part came on Monday, and they had the Santa Fe fixed and back to us a day ahead of schedule! That was tremendous. We were already sold on the Hyundai, but this experience reminded us again of why we are on our third vehicle. The level of customer care is off the charts at Hyundai. And Kyle is the best service advisor we've ever had. The repairs fixed the problem and got us safely back home to Kansas City. I would gladly recommend Kunes Hyundai without hesitation. They are a five-star dealership! Check them out. You won't be disappointed! Ray Pritchard Shawnee, Kansas

Kunes Hyundai of Sycamore review
My initial review is posted at the bottom. I have changed my rating from do not buy, to good. It appears that KUNES Sycamore has recently hired a very competent Jerome Witt who, albeit after 6 months resolved my issue within a couple of days. If you have an issue with KUNES, I highly recommend contacting Jerome. Below my original Issue: If I can stop just one person from buying a vehicle from November 5, 2022 By pljo on DealerRater If I can stop just one person from buying a vehicle from this non-responsive dealership, I consider my efforts a success. I purchased a 2009 Mercedes SL550 (48,00miles) from this stealership and added a "Bumper to Bumper aftermarket warranty" which I paid for separately from the car through Kunes. After 3 weeks (1,500mls) the car developed an issue with a suspension damper. Kunes quoted a $1,500+ repair charge and of course it was not covered by the "Bumper to Bumper warranty". Multiple emails to Eddie Boliaux (GM) has proven to be futile. Please think twice before dealing with these people, especially if they try to sell you a useless aftermarket warranty. Kunes is just not worth the visit, or business. :( Rating breakdown (out of 5): Customer service 1.0 Buying process — Quality of repair — Overall facilities — Overall experience 1.0 Does not recommend this dealer
2010 Toyota Camry review
I bought this car used in 2023. It runs well. It is not the quickest car but it will always get the job done. I have the 2.5L 4 cylinder and it gets around 27 mpg on average. This car has never let me down and I plan on keeping it for a while. I would definitely recommend this car if you're looking for something that will last forever and get you from A to B.

Champion Motorcars review
I have purchased many cars in the past, this was the first time at Champion Motor Cars. The experience here was great compared to other places. I really felt like Bill, the owner, was interested in providing an enjoyable experience, without the normal pushy feel of other dealers. I was not able to make it to look at the car until near closing time due to my job, Bill had no problems with staying late answering any questions I had and completing the sale. Not only did Bill work hard during the sale, but continued the next day, after signing all the papers, I recieved a call from Bill the next morning asking me if I could come by again to sign new papers, reason being he kept working and was able to lower my interest rate. Needless to say I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone who would like to enjoy a great experience when buying your next vehicle.

Champion Motorcars review
My son and I were looking for a reliable, newer car and were very satisfied with the assistance given by the salesperson I contacted over the phone about one of the cars listed for sale by Champion Auto. The process took 2 days to complete as I asked the salesperson to drive the car and inspect the car again as I asked for specific conditions about the interior/exterior of the car. They were very accommodating with all my requests. I bought the car over the phone and we picked it up 2 days later. The car was as explained and the paperwork was done quickly! Very happy with the transaction and will buy again if the opportunity arises. Thanks Jeff
2007 Pontiac G6 review
(owner of three 06/07 g6 GT/GTPs convertibles) Wonderful, sporty look. Design is great with minimal flaws such as cover that opens when top comes down malfunctioning or air vents coming out. Seats look great but sit in this car longer then two hours you'll wish you weren't. Every car I've seen has a rip in driver seat, you'll know what I mean if you own one most likely. Engine and transmission are strong and reliable with little maintenance needed. Things like CV joints, ball joints, sway bars, etc you'll need to replace often along with many electrical details and oil/tranny leaks. All around amazing, going on five years with my first one from 132k miles to 203k miles it runs just as it did the day I bought it.

2016 Chevrolet Malibu Limited review
I love this car. It’s reliable and comfortable. Easy for long drives, big backseat, and large truck space. Looks sleek and is fun to drive.
