We bought this car for our son to drive to work and school. It was sporty and yet luxurious at the same time. Much better value than the Toyota we were looking at, and much nicer. I liked the car so much that I ended up buying a second Saab for myself.

Love my Saab 9-5 Aero. Fast, comfortable, roomy with one of the best audio systems ever. The Ice Blue Metallic paint is flawless. The seats are extremely comfortable even on long trips. Lots of room in the back seat too. Love the simple, no nonsense dashboard controls. One of my favorite things about this car is how quick it is and how great it handles especially the curvy streets here in Los Angeles.

Bought used with 30K miles in 2006. Now has 88K miles. Only problem so far is power antenna; we just leave it up. I do oil changes at 5K, replaced spark plugs at 50K, tires at 60K and replaced battery before winter of 2011 (preventive maintenance). All else is original. Fun to drive, quick, 28 mpg local and 32+ travelling. This 2001 4 door 5 speed manual turbo moon roof hatchback is wonderful car. Too bad they stopped making them.

I owe Tapp Motors (Jr and Sr) a wholehearted apology for what I wrote last night. Seems like we all had challenging days yesterday and our lines of communications were BROKEN. You know, I’ve always given advice about email like this: Write what you want, but NEVER, EVER send an emotional email... I broke my own rule. Also, if you have a problem and misunderstanding then pick up the phone, walk over and have a friendly conversation to clear the air. So, that’s what I did earlier today after not sleeping much last night. I called both gents and explained my feelings and why I abruptly left the lot yesterday. They were very gracious and we all apologized for poor communication. I felt better, they felt better and everyone is smiling and laughing... Life is GOOD! After such a misunderstanding and we’re able to “shake hands” and part friends says A LOT about the Character of the Tapp Family. It’s not often a rather bad communication can be settled and without hard feelings. It’s ALL about the more often and not practiced “Golden Rule”.... Sadly we’re often too busy to stop and smell the roses and more importantly LISTEN. God gave us two ears to one mouth. Gentlemen and The Family of Tapp Motors.... Please accept apology for my err in judgment. I’d gladly send friends and family your way in the future. Class Act!

Great car overall. Drives very well and quite punchy and fun with a good turbo. Reliable, haven't had much issues so far. Value is great especially since they are loaded well and its less then 10k for a decent one. VERY VERY safe car, Saab's are extremely safe and this car gives you confidence that you are safe. I have a 2.0T which gets good mpg for its class, I once got around 40 mpg highway. The 2.0T is fun and punchy with impressive acceleration, most reliable too. If your willing to spend a little more and have significant funds for maintenance and repairs go for a 2.8T V6, which is fast. It handles well. Pros: 1. Well priced, good value 2. Stylish and unique design 3. Great cornering headlights xenon 4. Good engine, reliable if maintained, fast/quick 5. Very Safe, Swedish Metal 6. Jet fighter interior look Cons: 1. Rear seat legroom is a little disappointing but not a major issue for me, but if you have a large family i wouldn't recommend this car, go for a 9-5 instead. 2. Paint damages easily when older, these 9-3s can have paint peel issues in the long run if you live in hotter climates. 3. Some interior pieces aren't the best of quality for it's class. Door handles and small things, it can be creaky. Overall: Here and there it has minor disappointments but it definitely makes up for it very well. Great and fun car. I highly recommend this as a first car or commuter, maybe even for a small family.

Top Flight. Quality. Sam takes extreme pride in offering only top quality vehicles. Sam picked me up at the airport to take delivery of my new Vehicle. It was even better than promised. First with the problem.... finding parts. It is now years since Saab closed down and I have had to do some hunting for parts for the very rarely needed repairs. It has been an excellent driving, reliable, quiet, and comfortable car! If you are comfortable searching online and crossing fingers when you buy a part then this is an excellent choice for the money! So sad that they are no longer being made.... I have owned this vehicle for a little over 6 1/2 years, was the third owner and put the most mileage on the vehicle.

OMG the journey through the current used car climate has been horrendous. & I’ll be frank. Throughout the countless sleepless stressful hours of internet trolling Mike came up repeatedly & when I pounced on the just arrived beauty gracing my driveway I can’t tell you what a brilliant experience it was to work efficient coherent & honest with a real human. So I've had a fully loaded, every single option, 5.3 liter 9-7x for two years now. It is a 2007. I drive it every day as a commuter and once in a while tow my 5000lb boat when my main tow vehicle is not available. Here's the thing about this car. I have 75,000 miles on it now and nothing, I repeat nothing has needed to be fixed or broken or worn or anything. I'm talking weld the hood shut reliable. I still can't believe I haven't spent a penny on it except gas and oil changes. It will finally need tires soon and that's going to be the extent of my ownership costs. Here's the bad parts however. It corners like it is on rails...literally pull up the skid pad tests and you aren't going to find another body on frame suv with this kind of road gripping performance. It is so amazing it will easily out perform the tires and I have high end tires on it. Even the Chevy Trailblazer SS (that copied the SAAB technology as it is a later released GM) is not quite as good. That's great but how often do you need that level of performance. I can tell you not that often and so the down side of that level of cornering ability is a really bumpy ride. You feel the bumps and cracks in the road and that gets a bit old. The nav unit has a nice big screen but so many times it can't locate an address in the data base and that is even with the most updated nav disc and with old addresses. I hate when I have to break down and use the nav. That's about the extent of the bad that I can come up with after driving 30,000 miles in my 9-7. Other things that I like are: Factory xenon headlights with washers: Torque of the V8 especially when towing a lot of weight Tan and Black interior with French stitching Relatively modern dash for what really is an old platform I surprisingly get a lot of compliments on it as though it is a much more expensive vehicle. I like that the nav disc has it's own dedicated slot as well so you don't have to choose whether you want to use the nav disc or a cd. Since this car doesn't have an ipod connection (which can be done for literally $5 if you care to) you can connect the ipod or whatever device you want to up to the rear entertainment system as a sort of boot leg work around and hear the music or watch a movie from the device. As for mileage, it is a nearly 5000lb vehicle with an 8 cylinder engine. Who would buy this then complain as though somehow they thought that was a winning combination for fuel efficiency?

Got the car back in 2010 with about 11k miles it's still running great with regular maintenance at ~284k miles now. Some minor issues along the way but still runs great.

I recently purchased a 2004 Saab 9 3 Arc convertible. I knew very little about Saabs but they always intrigued me. I've only had it for a few days but I am very impressed with its overall quality, comfort and performance. Saab stopped making cars in 2012 because they could not compete with their Audi and Mercedes target market. Having owned both of those German brands, I think Saab approaches them in quality. Test drive one, I think you'll enjoy it.

After a loooong time searching for a reliable vehicle in my budget I finally found one , It was painful! I don’t know how I haven’t heard of them before because let me tell you their prices and customer work ethic is great! I didn’t have a lot of money to pay but they did everything to find me a good car! I am the third owner of 99 9-3 convertible Got 195 on the clock so far Barring the turbo needing to be replaced - hence the 4 star on performance - it's quick once up to speed and passing is never an issue It strong - yes very pick and temperamental - getting the SID as we speak just like VW dash boards the connections for the SID are useless The car will let no know in more than one way what it needs - tune ups new DIC ( direct injector cassette) all easy to find and replace yourself ( 15 minute job at most ) Love this car - gonna do everything I can to keep it on the road !!!

This is my first SUV . handles pretty nice, rides pretty nice . Not much more room than my car ,though. But at least it has a roof rack and a trailer hitch. I'm waiting for the better gas mileage.

Recently purchased a rare find 2003 Saab Convertible 9-3, one owner with low 45,000 miles. Love the way it handles and quality styling. I sold my 2015 Acura, which I Loved, because of the technology package. Simply didn’t drive enough to keep the system charged and constantly worrying about cost if something goes wrong. This little Saab is so adorable and I’m no longer stressed by all the bells and whistles of my Acura!

This is the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. Drove her off the lot brand new and 16 years later and 150K miles, she’s still smooth as silk. Only repairs are a window and windshield wiper!! So sad they don’t make these cars anymore.
