This is the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. Drove her off the lot brand new and 16 years later and 150K miles, she’s still smooth as silk. Only repairs are a window and windshield wiper!! So sad they don’t make these cars anymore.

My 2004 Toyota Avalon was just one of several excellent “everyday” cars Brian and his team had in stock amongst domestic classics, imported luxury cars, and all things in between. This car was amazing. It lasted 12 years and 190,000 miles before a tree landed on it and it needed too many repairs. Over those 12 years is only needed an alternator and a seat rip repaired, that is it. The car was excellent as it handled well, it got great gas mileage (averaged 26 mpg in the suburbs, 35 or 36 mpg on the highway), and had nice acceleration with minimal turbo lag. The fact is was so durable made you overlook to some degree the unusual controls. The turn stalk felt flimsy like you could break it easily but over all those years nothing went wrong with it. The key is in the center but that was fine and Saab claimed they did it so you would not hit it with your knee in a car accident, and break your kneecap. This car even had one USB port even though it was a little before its time. The heads-up display worked well. Even though the car was badly damaged by the tree as I had to go off road and damaged the underside of my car badly, my mechanic bought it from me, fixed it, and sold it to a college student. Now it is 13 years old and has over 200,000 miles on the original powertrain. If that is not durable I don't know what is. No car I have owned has lasted as long as that one - not Toyota, not Honda. They also have lasted a long time but the transmissions on both of them died by 160,000 miles for the Toyota, by 140,000 on the Honda. If I could buy a relatively new one again I would but of course I cannot as they are no longer in business. Too bad, despite their quirks, they were durable, reliable, efficient cars.

PROS: -Extremely comfortable, spacious interior -IIHS Top Safety Pick -Very handsome design still looks fresh -6-speed manual transmission provides better acceleration and fuel economy with 2.0T Ecotec 4-cylinder engine -Unique Saab features like night panel which illuminates only the speedometer -Agile handling, fun to drive -Very spacious trunk and split fold-down rear seats -Quiet and taut but comfortable ride CONS -Taillamp filaments can melt, rear turn signals need to be replaced with LEDs - GM panoramic sunroof drains need to be cleaned annually to prevent water from entering interior -Rear LED light bar fails and needs aftermarket modification to work - GM seat heaters fail and need replacement -Control buttons in center of instrument panel wear off and need aftermarket replacement -Limited availability for parts not shared with other GM products and a declining number of service option -So so rear visibility

Everyone either hates or loves this car. I loved the car. It had speed and I really enjoyed the drive of the vehicle. Loved the leather and sunroof Plus the fact it had a turbo

Great car overall. Drives very well and quite punchy and fun with a good turbo. Reliable, haven't had much issues so far. Value is great especially since they are loaded well and its less then 10k for a decent one. VERY VERY safe car, Saab's are extremely safe and this car gives you confidence that you are safe. I have a 2.0T which gets good mpg for its class, I once got around 40 mpg highway. The 2.0T is fun and punchy with impressive acceleration, most reliable too. If your willing to spend a little more and have significant funds for maintenance and repairs go for a 2.8T V6, which is fast. It handles well. Pros: 1. Well priced, good value 2. Stylish and unique design 3. Great cornering headlights xenon 4. Good engine, reliable if maintained, fast/quick 5. Very Safe, Swedish Metal 6. Jet fighter interior look Cons: 1. Rear seat legroom is a little disappointing but not a major issue for me, but if you have a large family i wouldn't recommend this car, go for a 9-5 instead. 2. Paint damages easily when older, these 9-3s can have paint peel issues in the long run if you live in hotter climates. 3. Some interior pieces aren't the best of quality for it's class. Door handles and small things, it can be creaky. Overall: Here and there it has minor disappointments but it definitely makes up for it very well. Great and fun car. I highly recommend this as a first car or commuter, maybe even for a small family.

The SAAB 9 3 is an amazing little sports car! As nice as any Acura or BMW. Great handling, quick and responsive, and the best part, you won't see another sitting across from you at the traffic light. You would have to be insane not to purchase a low mileage SAAB, they are a quarter of the price of any other luxury sedan. Better enjoy now before all the good ones are gone!

Bought a 2005 Lincoln Navigator, 145k miles. It's in excellent shape, no issues since I've purchased it. I think they're an honest dealership. I would use them again if I needed another used vehicle.

Love my Saab 9-5 Aero. Fast, comfortable, roomy with one of the best audio systems ever. The Ice Blue Metallic paint is flawless. The seats are extremely comfortable even on long trips. Lots of room in the back seat too. Love the simple, no nonsense dashboard controls. One of my favorite things about this car is how quick it is and how great it handles especially the curvy streets here in Los Angeles.

It is the perfect car for the European feel without speeding a fortune. It is fast, reliable and safe. I have had no issues with my Saab, regular maintenance is all you need.

Bought used with 30K miles in 2006. Now has 88K miles. Only problem so far is power antenna; we just leave it up. I do oil changes at 5K, replaced spark plugs at 50K, tires at 60K and replaced battery before winter of 2011 (preventive maintenance). All else is original. Fun to drive, quick, 28 mpg local and 32+ travelling. This 2001 4 door 5 speed manual turbo moon roof hatchback is wonderful car. Too bad they stopped making them.

I have had this 2006 9-3 for 11 years and has never once failed me. The turbo allows for performance yet i about get 30 MPG.

My son looked at cars and was not hassled. People answered questions for him. He bought a 2014 Kia FORTE 5 EX hatchback. Blue, ha is happy!

I love Saabs. Fun sporty cars with plenty of power and comfortable ride. They run forever. I like when other Saab owner want to know about the car. And when others want to know about Saabs.

Worked on this particular vehicle for years without major repairs. Recently got the opportunity to purchase. I quickly acquired it with no regrets. Exceptionally quiet and decent power. My only complaint is limited cup holders and front storage for items. Vehicle was much improved by Saab for styling and ride.

Got the car back in 2010 with about 11k miles it's still running great with regular maintenance at ~284k miles now. Some minor issues along the way but still runs great.

I live out of state, and was nervous about buying an out-of-state car. Peter was incredibly knowledgeable, the car was simply fantastic, and it’s been over two years now. Easiest people to deal with ever! Will definitely buy from them again.

First with the problem.... finding parts. It is now years since Saab closed down and I have had to do some hunting for parts for the very rarely needed repairs. It has been an excellent driving, reliable, quiet, and comfortable car! If you are comfortable searching online and crossing fingers when you buy a part then this is an excellent choice for the money! So sad that they are no longer being made.... I have owned this vehicle for a little over 6 1/2 years, was the third owner and put the most mileage on the vehicle.

This is my third 9-5 sport combi. searched for 4 months to find the right one. I put 102K miles on the last one, and look forward to at least that many on this one. purchased with 87K on it. Cost per mile of the last car excluding gas, maintenance, etc. was $.14/mile.
