First with the problem.... finding parts. It is now years since Saab closed down and I have had to do some hunting for parts for the very rarely needed repairs. It has been an excellent driving, reliable, quiet, and comfortable car! If you are comfortable searching online and crossing fingers when you buy a part then this is an excellent choice for the money! So sad that they are no longer being made.... I have owned this vehicle for a little over 6 1/2 years, was the third owner and put the most mileage on the vehicle.

PROS: -Extremely comfortable, spacious interior -IIHS Top Safety Pick -Very handsome design still looks fresh -6-speed manual transmission provides better acceleration and fuel economy with 2.0T Ecotec 4-cylinder engine -Unique Saab features like night panel which illuminates only the speedometer -Agile handling, fun to drive -Very spacious trunk and split fold-down rear seats -Quiet and taut but comfortable ride CONS -Taillamp filaments can melt, rear turn signals need to be replaced with LEDs - GM panoramic sunroof drains need to be cleaned annually to prevent water from entering interior -Rear LED light bar fails and needs aftermarket modification to work - GM seat heaters fail and need replacement -Control buttons in center of instrument panel wear off and need aftermarket replacement -Limited availability for parts not shared with other GM products and a declining number of service option -So so rear visibility

Always been driving Saab, with a couple of other brands in between, this 2010 9-5 Aero turbo6 X drive, is my my number 10 Saab and in my garage I have the 1999 V6 turbo with only 62466 miles. My saying is “one time Saab always Saab” I use to commute 100 miles a day and at that time I totally fell in love with my 2001 9000 turbo five speeds, that one I sold with 234567 miles on the odometer.

I would like to give the best review to Mark and his company, Crestwood Auto Sales. We purchased a RAV4 for our grandson, and Mark was insistent on getting it in perfect shape before completing the sale. A pesky engine light was finally determined to be an incorrectly installed Oxygen sensor. Mark is a great dealer of used cars, and a pleasure to deal with. His integrity is beyond reproach. Began owning Saabs in the 80's. Never bought new. Owned my last Saab -- a 1996 900S -- for 12 years and drove it for over 120,000 trouble-free miles. It is still looks and acts young. Moved to a 9-5 wagon with a view to it being my last car purchase. I love it! It has all the features I hoped to get -- luxury and great sound system. I bought this particular model for the added interior space. Through Cars.com, I chose my car without the advantage of a test drive because I live a few states from where it was being sold. The price was right, the miles were very low, and the photos showed me all the rest. When it arrived close to my location, it was all it appeared to be. I fell in love driving it the remaining 130 miles home. It is a Saab -- which for me says it all. I felt in familiar surroundings. This is my first Turbo engine and it is impressive. Took my first road trip and enjoyed every mile. Can hardly wait to go see the grandkids.

I have a 2005 Saab 9-5 with 153k on it. Arguably the best car I’ve ever owned. So fun to drive I feel like a kid. Powerful, handles great, good gas mileage and really nice interior.

I owned two Saab 93 ... my brand new 2009 6 Spd manual is a super car ! got into an accident and it saved my life .... had it rebuilt through a VIP salvage program and its still running today .... my wife drives it . I purchased a single owned 2011 Aero automatic last season ...and other than the seats and the Bose system I prefer the base 2009 ... The look of the Aero is amazing ...but the sport suspension is a bit much for me and I prefer again the base model . The 2009 Base 93 is the real deal ... great road feel and ride ... and the 6 Spd manual gives you lots of power .... when you need it ....

This is my third 9-5 sport combi. searched for 4 months to find the right one. I put 102K miles on the last one, and look forward to at least that many on this one. purchased with 87K on it. Cost per mile of the last car excluding gas, maintenance, etc. was $.14/mile.

Got the car back in 2010 with about 11k miles it's still running great with regular maintenance at ~284k miles now. Some minor issues along the way but still runs great.

The SAAB 9 3 is an amazing little sports car! As nice as any Acura or BMW. Great handling, quick and responsive, and the best part, you won't see another sitting across from you at the traffic light. You would have to be insane not to purchase a low mileage SAAB, they are a quarter of the price of any other luxury sedan. Better enjoy now before all the good ones are gone!

The SAAB 9.3 is the best small sedan ever. It is exceptionally well built, well designed and well thought out. Gas mileage is great, performace is exceptional for its engine size/weight and handling is top notch for a front drive 4 door sedan. Interior ergonomics are unsurpassed in this type of vehicle, and it has the best heated seats in the world. Car was stone reliable and a joy to drive...until some celphone staring moron turned left into me. Even then, the SAAB shown thru - it held up exceedingly well ; the clown that ran into me was in a toyota and her car was so wadded up that you had to look at the trunk badge to even tell what it was. The SAAB would have fixed were it not for the cost of the airbags and the government's murdering its resale by giving the company to the red chinese. Were it not for the potential problem of parts availability, I would have replaced it with another immediately. As it is, we bought a Mercedes C class - and its not nearly the car the SAAB is.

The Saab 9-5 Aero is a fun car to drive with a Turbo V6 and AWD. The vehicle has no problem getting out of it's own way under light to medium acceleration. The car feels nimble and light considering it's size and weight. The interior controls were head of it's time but are logically placed and easy to use.

Nice car, handles well. Plenty of room for passengers. This vehicle has ton of extras, leather, moonroof. The only negative is it does not allow Bluetooth hook up for cell phone.
