I purchased an aura xr v6, 2009 with 65,000 miles. it is the top one, including some wireless headphones, dual Chrome exhaust with 6 speed auto with steering shifters and great sound system. this car is a joy to ride and it is well mantained, the parts are really cheap because it shares platforms with malibu/g6/impala, shocks, brakes, body, etc. it runs AMAZINGLY, doesn't save gas but for the power is a nice trade willing to make. It looks better than bmw serie 3 of those years by far and runs faster. the only bad thing is that the car is limited to 115 mph, the competition the top is after 140mph. just that's it. excellent ride

I think that a lot of reviewers have under-rated this car. Saturn did modestly with new sales of the L-car, but it is a bonanza for guys like me who were in the market for a good used car value. The car is unfairly compared to Japanese imports which cost a lot more money. My Saturn is fast, handles well, and the leather seats and other appointments make it very comfortable and enjoyable. At $6,000 less expensive than a Japanese rival, it represented the best bang for my buck. The black paint and polished aluminum wheels on my car don't hurt matters, either. I would recommend one of these to anybody.

Oil change and tire rotation was done right. The customer lounge was clean. All the employees were friendly. And I will be coming back. Thank you.

Pushing 80 yrs old [young?] I find the L300 a very nice place to be driving from Az desert to the Ca coast...it also get pretty good MPG...Great air and power everything, like the sunroof too..1st car with leather, it felt more comfortable to sit on, seemed softer...over 84,000 now and all is well...can't complain even if it dies in the next 30 or 40 thousand miles...

Couple of nice old dudes own this place. They had some good stuff for sale. Some stuff above market, some stuff at market, and a few gems below market price too. I found a nice deal on "The Boat", a 2007 Grand Marquis from them. Not perfect, but in good shape with low miles. There's a car for every budget on their lot. Probably one of the few pay-and-drive type lots left that isn't run by xxxxxx.

This car has paddle shifter, heated seats and good mileage. I haven't had any problems with this car. Lots of legroom. I would recommend my friend to get this car

I bought a 2009 Aura XE in 2010 and so far I have put 200010 miles on it. Bought it used with 30000 miles. It is by far the best, most reliable car I've owned and it is still running strong. Nothing but routine maintenance. I've changed spark plugs once and I change the oil and filter every 3000-4000 miles. I've changed the wiper motor once and a sensor once. I've owned a few brand new cars but none were as good as this one. Garage kept so that may contribute to it lasting for 14 years. But it's been a great car.

Beau is the best! I have an older truck and he always gets me right in to fix any issues I’m having, he was kind enough to stay late on a holiday weekend to get my truck fixed so I could have it for the weekend! I highly recommend his shop! He is honest and affordable and does great work

This car was everything I was looking for at this stage of my life. It had 3 owners but no accidents and only 96,000 miles. This car is known to be reliable. The exterior and interior are nothing too fancy but it has the necessities (functioning windows, A/C, mid size sedan space, decent trunk space, etc). Saturn is no longer in business so some have had issues finding parts and repairs may be expensive. But as Saturn was part of GMC, it may not be as difficult as one might think.

These two guys running this place are great. They were open and honest through the entire process. They took time to understand my needs and showed me a couple choices that would suit. I drove away with my daughter’s first car.

I got my Saturn Ion new back in 2007. I wanted an affordable black car with a manual transmission. This car has been a rock for me. I've put on new all season tires a few years back. In this past summer, 2024(158,000 miles), I had to replace the brakes. Outside of regular maintenance(oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes) that is all I have had to do! Mine is a manual transmission, which has been very helpful controlling the vehicle in the snow here in MN. I am very grateful for my Saturn and happy to share the feedback.

I've owned my 2007 Saturn Ion 3 for 16 years and have only had one small repair. Had a small leak in the gas tank and that is all. This is the most reliable car I've ever owned.

I bought my 2007 Saturn Ion with 90,000 miles on it. It gets 32 mpg and is low cost to maintenance. I had to put $3,200 into it after I hit 140,000 miles, but that was most likely because the last owner did not keep good care of it. Great city car!!!

Definitely didn't hate driving this car on a daily basis. Having the last model year ever made, there's just something about driving a car that you know you will never see a newer version of on the road that's very satisfying (since Saturn was shut down). I can't speak for other models, but my Aura was super reliable. Up to 150k miles on it now and nothing major ever went wrong with it. It's a shame that Saturn went under since some of their later models that came out seemed to be the best looking. It's just a great, unique enough looking car that sets it apart from the Hondas and Toyotas on the road, especially for the price.

I absolutely love my Saturn Aura XR. I bought it brand new and have traveled many states and long distances in it. It is very comfortable on long trips with very good fuel mileage. The interior is lovely and I love the heated leather seats. I also love the fact that the rear and side lights dim at night. I have had it for 10 years and I'm told,it still looks like a new vehicle. People are really surprised when I tell them it is 10 years old. The paint has held up beautifully.

Bought for 4700 at 60.000 miles very clean comfy quiet drove for year. The power steering went out replaced tires and the wheel bearing at 2years! Now needs breaks and some regular maintenance. Over all very stylish and runs very strong. Great on gas. And have drove cross country. Recently changed battery. Over all the car has been very reliable now has 127.00 miles. Passing it onto my collage s daughter for collage . Hope it last at least another year. Air ice cold the sunroof has been cool feature. Highly recommend

This is the most reliable car I have owned. I have >320,00kms on it after 23 years. It always starts in cold weather whether its plugged in or not. It never needs anything outside regular maintenance and tires are very inexpensive. It is super easy to get to anything on the engine. The a/c and heating work great. Its not the prettiest or most comfortable vehicle, but it works better than anything I have driven.

I bought a 1996 saturn wagon in 2007 with 69k miles on it and drove the odometer up to 210,000 miles. Then I sold it to my friend who currently has 255,000 miles on it and is still driving it to work every day. I replaced simple stuff like EGR valve, battery, brakes all the usual routine stuff but nothing serious. But if you take care of these old s series saturns they are hard to kill seriously. Don't let the age of these cars scare you, you see a used saturn and it's 20 years old? doesn't matter...this is the only car I could say that about from experience.

I bought the car I had to put in a radiator water pump and thermostat. I did the work myself cost me less than 300 bucks and in the shop it would’ve cost me $3000. I’ve never done anything else to the car except tires and an oil change constantly and I have 190,000 miles and it starts right up no problems and the motor is very powerful for the car

Walked in and greeted with a pretty rough area to do business. A salesman met me and I told him the car I wanted to see. He went and got it. I took it for a drive came back and said I want it. He started working with me and like 3 other customers. Pretty unorganized. I was there from 1:00 to after 5:00. Overall Jerred Miehlke was nice and helpful. I left and drove 1 1/2 hour home and engine light came on. Jerred did say cars go through no checks. If they drive we sell them.be careful and check out the vehicle extensively. I do like the car good price just sharing the salesman was weird. I bought a brand new car in less than 30 minutes before so this was rough. Overall I think I did ok. Just be ready for a very long process. Come early if you live some distance away.

We found a [surprisingly] sought-after example of a Honda Element at Midwest Auto, for our son - four hours away from our home. A 22yr old car, with over 100k miles on the odo. I expected a decent car with some issues, for what I paid. Instead, I got the cleanest Vtec the local, mobile mechanic had ever seen. He climbed all over that car for 1.5 hours and thoroughly drove and code tested it - both past/recent codes and “likely fail” codes. I have a four year old, bought-new minivan that wouldn’t have tested that clean. I drove the four hours home with no trepidation whatsoever. I feel like I stole this car. The mechanic told me that he sees a lot of “good cars” come out of Midwest. Not only was the sale easy, no-pressure and quick, (as we knew what we wanted), they were accommodating and incredibly friendly. I’ve owned a lot of cars and after what I experienced, I would buy from this dealer sight-unseen and ship with no fear. ANY used car WILL have some issues - new ones do now! - but this one doesn’t need anything but what anyone should do for any car. It’s getting a fresh alignment and a new battery. That’s it. This is easily the cleanest decades-old ride I’ve ever bought. Five stars.

My Saturn ion is that 201,000+ miles. I have not had any major issues, mostly just Maintenance. I do notice an electrical problem. It’s been there since I got the car. I just don’t have the money to pay a mechanic to find the problem.

Bought a 2002sl2 from a small dealer in Rio Linda. I got a good price on it. Had a water leak that turned out to be the intake manifold. Plastic. Whoever had this car took very good care of it. Interior is immaculate. Only 137,000 miles on it. Not bad for 20 years old. Beautiful white color with cloth interior. Factory wheels. Great on gas. I'm very happy with it. I have a great mechanic that really knows his stuff. Parts r still plentiful too. It's a little fast to get me out of traffic jams and butt head drivers. It's a great car. Also it's loaded with extras.

This is my 2nd great experience at Roseville Auto Sales. My first great experience was about 3 years ago. Todd also helped me last time, and I'd been in communication with Matt via email. However, I had just purchased a nice 2000 Ford Focus from there that had been on their lot for awhile, but I did the research beforehand so knew the history of the car etc, so knew what I was getting into. They're always laid back there, and you ask for keys for whatever car(s) you want to test drive, and you can take your time inspecting under hood, starting them, then test driving them. Once you make up your mind on a purchase, all the paperwork takes less than 30 minutes and you're out the door. Thank you Todd and Matt for a very pleasant experience, I'll be back again in a couple years. They did mention they've been open 29 years roughly and have sold over 29,000 cars, which I believe, they stay pretty busy and overall have a very good selection of cars, a lot have high miles but some have moderate miles and are very reasonable. I previously owned a Saturn 1997 SL1 and was very pleased with it. The cabin is bare bones, exterior road noise is obvious, but it handled wonderfully, excellent stopping distance, and was amazingly good on fuel. The parts are affordable and is reasonably inexpensive to maintain. The side protection is excellent too. My only issue was a sticky ignition and turn signal stick (a common fault, but easy to get used to) and beware of it's tire size and rear drum brakes, which aren't common anymore. All-in-all, an excellent car for someone on a budget or a student. It's not the fanciest car, but it's safe and reliable, even in 2017.
