Gladstone was wonderful. I was running late. Got there 30 minutes before closing. They still processed the sale with all the paperwork and signatures. The car is in excellent condition. They have a mechanic on site so do their own CARFAX inspections. They went over that with me and assured me it was in excellent condition. They even showed me the ownership and service history. I bought my Elantra new. Never had to take it in for mechanical problems just front end due to pot holes. The car gave me an average mileage of 5.3/100km. I finally traded up to a newer Elantra. My old car had 483000km, no warning lights or repairs to the engine or transmission. Keep up with your maintenance

I have truly enjoyed driving my 2019 G70! It is sleek and zoomy. I can be where I want when I want. The quilted leather is quite classy and the back seat has more room than expected.

Just recently purchased a Nissan Kicks at the Independence CarMax, we had previously purchased a Nissan Sentra {about 2 weeks prior) but we found it eventually getting into the vehicle difficult for the age as I am getting older (seventies in my case) the Kicks we have now is a wonderful vehicle. Rick Gross was our salesperson. He did a wonderful job explaining every aspect of our purchase. Matthew and Sharon handle the financial side of our purchase and also was clear on 30-day refund policy and purchase of our Kicks. I would highly recommend this CarMax in Independence; they took time to give us peace of mind on our new Nissan Kicks.

Overall a good car for the price, smooth and quiet ride (for its class) and surprisingly accurate gas milleage. What we like so far (got it a month ago and have already 1500 miles (driven in the mountains and in the city): consistent great gas mileage - the best among hybrids; nice exterior design and great safety features; spacey interior; very decent and quiet ride: don't expect great power from the start but can get to 140 - 160 miles/hr and ride smoothly and quietly. What we don't quite like: the door pockets are so small one cannot fit a regular cup of coffee or tea, rather cheap fixtures, missing back sit middle cup holder (they added it to the more expensive models but these have lower gas mileage), the mirrors do not automatically fold, weird design of the middle console, it has a sort of wall (possible for the right seat rider to hold) but that takes of the space we could've use to add a two cup holder adaptor. After a year of ownership I'll update the review.

Brandon did a great job answering my questions in the prepurchase. Though he was off the day I flew up, Tim stepped in and showed the vehicle and took the pre purchase information with ease. Lee the finance job was friendly but stuck to business and I appreciated that, he did try to sell me the world only the vehicle. I usually pay cash for my cars and my last purchase the finance guy spend and hour trying to get me to take a loan with them instead. I really appreciated when he finished, he led the way to his door shook my hand and said, "We could visit, but you have a seven hour drive a head you and you need to get on the road." He was right. I love my Altima. It looks good and it handles beautifully. The gas mileage is good, especially on the highway. The car is comfortable, too.

This is my fourth Malibu, first one was a 2004 Maxx, second one was a 2017 Malibu LS, third one was a 2022 LS and now I have a 2024 RS, all four have been good cars with excellent fuel economy and space inside, maybe not as refined as some Japanese models but great cars regardless, give one a try....

Great car overall. Drives very well and quite punchy and fun with a good turbo. Reliable, haven't had much issues so far. Value is great especially since they are loaded well and its less then 10k for a decent one. VERY VERY safe car, Saab's are extremely safe and this car gives you confidence that you are safe. I have a 2.0T which gets good mpg for its class, I once got around 40 mpg highway. The 2.0T is fun and punchy with impressive acceleration, most reliable too. If your willing to spend a little more and have significant funds for maintenance and repairs go for a 2.8T V6, which is fast. It handles well. Pros: 1. Well priced, good value 2. Stylish and unique design 3. Great cornering headlights xenon 4. Good engine, reliable if maintained, fast/quick 5. Very Safe, Swedish Metal 6. Jet fighter interior look Cons: 1. Rear seat legroom is a little disappointing but not a major issue for me, but if you have a large family i wouldn't recommend this car, go for a 9-5 instead. 2. Paint damages easily when older, these 9-3s can have paint peel issues in the long run if you live in hotter climates. 3. Some interior pieces aren't the best of quality for it's class. Door handles and small things, it can be creaky. Overall: Here and there it has minor disappointments but it definitely makes up for it very well. Great and fun car. I highly recommend this as a first car or commuter, maybe even for a small family.

I’m a bragging past owner of a 2006 G6 Gypsy sedan. First owner up to around 37,000 miles. Great experience & performance! Only issue that aggravated me was the key release from the ignition “ which was repeatedly repaired & never solved?” My model was the rare 6 speed manual “ yes in a sedan!!!!” The manual had to be in a certain precise position to trigger the ignition key release. I joked with GM service department that apparently the car wanted to keep driving?! The only other service I can remember was the leather seat cover replaced because the color wore away. & a suspension part up front. Everything covered by factory no arguments. I’m extremely serious that this is one General Motors hidden past gems!!!! “ keep in mind I am NOT talking base entry level model here.” Everyone knows about the G8 the solstice which is understandably justified! However these G6 GTP & GXP are the best investment for the budget minded to get performance in a competitive fun driving sedan with luggage & storage space!” Unless you’re smart enough to purchase the HARDTOP metal roof convertible!” Do your self & your wallet a favor & don’t ignore the vehicle when looking!

My beloved Pontiac Vibe died on a Monday. I looked at replacing the engine but getting back and forth to my job every day is also very important! Decided to check just in case online and Gladstone had the exact same vehicle, one year newer with much lower mileage at a price I could afford! Within a week - I drove to KCMO with a cashiers check in hand and drove it home. Thank you for working with me through messages and phone calls to be sure we could complete my purchase in one visit!

I purchased a 2006 brand new. I fell in love with it. Everything was perfect until now. I haven't been able to drive for a couple of years so it stays parked. I learned that if you don't put some use to it and just keep it parked, you will discover problems which are more my fault. I never had any problems until I got sick and stopped driving. I refuse to let my car go because I plan to drive again and it's the most reliable, quiet and comfortable ride. When I would give others a ride, they loved it! I'm just annoyed that toyota doesn't make that style anymore. The space, reliability and comfort is amazing!!!

After driving the Pilot, Ridgeline, Highlander, Santa Fe, and several others, the Sorento EX V6 was by far the best value for my money. It is solidly built, quiet, and smooth. The ride is like a Lexus and it handles almost like a sedan. It's just the right size, has very comfortable seats and is loaded with technology! On my first 500+ mile trip, I averaged 28.8 mpg. If you're looking for a new crossover in this segment, put this one on your short list to test drive.

The Salesperson Made an Amazing Car Buying Experience We went to CarMax in Independence to look for a mid-sized SUV with relatively low mileage at a reasonable price, and we found what we were looking for. A 2022 Chevy Equinox with less than 19,000 miles, in great condition and at a price and payment terms that are acceptable and affordable. I have bought a few cars in the past and I always went to “traditional” dealerships to purchase them. This was my first experience with CarMax and I can honestly say that I was blown away by the relaxing and laid back, yes I said relaxing and laid back, car buying experience! No sales pressure, no haggling over price, just a straight up purchase with no hidden or confusing terms or agreements. Everything was laid out on the table. Plain and simple. The salesperson, Austin Hubbard, was a pleasure to work with. We were facing a very difficult personal situation that could have easily made the car buying experience extremely challenging and stressful. Austin was kind, patient and understanding throughout the entire process. From the moment he greeted us at the front door until the moment we drove away, Austin was there to provide help, guidance and even some words of encouragement. This car fits the bill a throw back to those old American land yachts but with corvette power you can slow like a caddy but when someone thinks their overtaking a malibu or impala then you embarrass them badly with how far you leave them in the dust so quick. the few draw backs are the Bluetooth connection. how quickly the doors lock after exit and how the sunroof doesn't close when the car is turned off before you exit. but if you want a car you can impose your will on the road with this is the car and most parts are relatively cheap in the chevy tradition. 4 brake pads oil change axle oil change filter and wheel alignment with me supplying the parts was only 150 labor and was only 150

I purchased a Lexus ES330 19 years ago. At 168k miles, with regular maintenance and some parts that wore out just this year. (2023), it is still the car I absolutely love. Going to keep driving it til the wheels fall off! (No signs of that happening anytime soon.)

I have owned quite a few cars, but the crown vic lx sport one is the closest thing to luxury without breaking the bank. V8 power which is plenty sufficient for a daily drive. Plenty of room for driver and passengers and a huge trunk!

I service was timely and service manager efficient and friendly! Most of time you don?t need to have twenty- five words to explain the service!

This car was exactly what I was looking for. Great all wheel drive system and great performance. Not too bad in gas mileage either for the performance it puts down. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun affordable and practice sports sedan.

I do not look forward to buying cars. There are so many terrible tactics and sales people out there its just a horrible overall experience. Rebbecca and Sneed Ford were not that. She showed us the cars we asked for, recommended just one we missed that was almost the same car(which we ended up buying) and we did the negotiating with her, not a finance guy on a raised platform and aggressive manners. She answered all our questions, was very patient and very personable. We talked with the owner a bit when Rebbecca was busy who turned out to be just as fantastic. Overall easily the best car buying experience we've been through and they'll definitely be my first search next time we're looking for a car.
