2009 smart ForTwo review
There is a website called evilution It goes over many smart car maintenance and known concerns even for my 2009 smart car for two passion. Get oil changed, tires are low cost to change. Gas is great 40 mpg. One Achilles of the car is the clutch actuator, but it isn’t broke it just needs to be cleaned and lubed with new gear grease not spray which only is a temporary fix.park car on ramps in park, make sure extension arm on actuator isn’t engaged (park position) , spray paint three bolts to try to put back in same position which in park should be snug against clutch plate in clutch housing , disconnect negative battery terminal, gently unsnap sensor and unscrew three bolts and remove actuator, remove and cleans rubber boot with soap water, cover sensor port so don’t get wet with towel, take apart actuator using hex screwdriver or star screwdriver, brake cleaner let dry, the. spray some white lithium oil in actuator generously , then apply generous gear lube in the drywall gun tube everywhere , hex actuator back together, lube tip clutch plate contact arm that makes contact with clutch plate in clutch housing, put rubber boot back on, screw back in same position snug against clutch plate for resistance to start, screw three bolts , connect sensor, connect negative terminal battery, start up will get wrench symbol till resets, move forward and back and check see it gears are shifting by moving a little, may not start make sure push arm to have snug tension of actuator extension arm on clutch plate in housing , without this tension may not start. Resistance or tension is required to start so tip must contact clutch plate. Note: if arm is extended when removed the spring will shoot it out and to start it you need to get tip shrunk from extended position which would can only do by starting car but you can’t start it because actuator does not fit back in position if extended and resistance extension is not recognized. so one person must attempting to start car while 2nd person connects sensor and doesn’t bolt three bolts in but holds actuator in hand and 2nd person under car pushes actuator against tip to simulate EXACT resistance tensiOn on extended arm to start, you are guessing on force, I used brick to push squeeze arm in corner squeezing tip into solid metal by pushing tip in corner then at same time have other person try to start car, guessing how much force it takes, , you have to replicate the exact tension of plate in housing to get car to start and extension arm to shrink to park position, once car starts th not will go to shrunk position and fit in park position in default position , used park brake , hold brakes on start for safety of second person, took like 40 tries and a dead battery from failed starts but will start then let run until it shrinks arm, once arm is shrunk then install in snug position or position spray painted before removed. Also, Spark plugs I unscrew and use snug rubber house to pull out from tight fit, oil changed at shop, check tires once a month, check fluids , battery is under passengers foot carpet, engine is in back hatch just lift carpet, some fluids in front engine, rear tail lights easy to replace just pinch lose. Two complains: seat do not extend back to lay back and take a nap after a long day, car is loud on highway noise but keeps up, other notes car makes a whine noise on start up for 30 seconds or 90 seconds seems normal. Gas mileage great, which could put bigger tires on for a farm or rough country roads but can cut plastic away from tire well I guess. Low tire center on f gravity is okay but need farm option. Mercedes dealership is a stealership but smart car forums, rock auto parts, and website evilution is great to do it yourself . Plastic exterior is forgiving on dents, use 3m to remove glue, use stickers to cover any blemishes.paint holds well since plastic.

Autovend USA review
Such a great experience buying my first car! Financed with them and they were very transparent about everything. Danny was great to work with and Maria got me the best rates. Already looking for a car for a my daughter from them!
2009 smart ForTwo review
This is my 2nd one, 1st was used for a 150 mile + a day 5 day week commute to the DC area. It's in it's element for local driving, parking, mpg, fun to drive(especially with convertible). If you install a Scan Gauge and use the manual paddle shifters, mid 50 mpg is easy. Interstate driving keeps the mpg to around 42 +. 1st one had some issues, but incompetent mechanics were most of the problems. Replacement a/c hoses run $1200 each (2)does require Premium fuel, I alternated between mid & prem. each tank on the 1st. one. Get an extended warranty, any major repairs may have to be done by MB dealer.

Automay Car Sales review
Automay is by far the best used car dealership I have seen/worked with in Oklahoma! They have an extremely impressive assortment of vehicles. Examples of such include Porsche, Audi, Tesla, Mercedes, etc. I also want to emphasize that they definitely have the best EV selection in town. Adrian and Balthazar were extremely nice, where they both helped guide me in making the best decision for myself. I highly recommend Automay for anyone who is looking into getting themselves a great car at a great price!

Kian Motors review
Kian Motors in Plano made my car-buying experience absolutely fantastic! The team was incredibly friendly, transparent, and genuinely helpful from start to finish—no high-pressure tactics, just great service. They offered a fantastic selection of well-maintained used vehicles, provided free CARFAX reports, and worked with me to find the perfect match for my needs. The process was smooth, quick, and stress-free, Hands down one of the best dealership experiences I’ve ever had—highly recommend Kian Motors to anyone looking for quality cars and exceptional customer care! 5 stars all the way! 🚗✨
2008 smart ForTwo review
I have owned this car 2008 smart for 3 years and it work great some minor issues like engine light that was just gas cap and heater whlch i removed and cleaned. i live where it is cold and it will start in really cold weather most of the time. Got good tires and winter driving is good. With more attention this car would sell better in canada and states. would not part with it .

2008 smart ForTwo review
I had mine for a long time, bought used as my first car, survived getting hit on the rear end, was simple enough for me and my dad to repair the few problems that popped up (at 164,000 miles) and kept going strong for me for 7 years until another accident got her totaled. I was perfectly safe from the accident, and the years I was driving it, it preformed fantastically. I see a lot of people complain about how it drives, and I will admit at first it was weird, but it really just takes you learning it. The shifts aren't random they're at specific speeds, and frankly if the shifting creates a problem you're either driving poorly or you have a mechanical problem. As long as you slowly go on the gas instead of suddenly slamming the pedal down the shifting is graceful. The issue I see some people mention about it feeling bad to control at highway speeds, I have not encountered. I drove 70mph highways 5+ times a week for years and never had a problem, did 85mph highways sometimes and still no problems. It has way enough room, I regularly had a 6'4" guy in the passenger and he was fine, I've had an almost 7 foot guy in the passenger and he admitted he was more comfortable in the Smart than any SUVs or Sedans he had been in. I'm a pretty small person so of course it's perfect for me, the turn radius and being able to park in essentially any space I want is amazing, the back actually has a lot of room and if you don't have a passenger you can extend it even more- I helped someone move with my Smart and while we didn't try furniture since we had a truck for that, it took 2 extra large boxes, a slew of plants, like 6 smaller boxes to fill gaps, 4 bags of vacuum packed linens, plus a decent amount of loose articles and knickknacks settled around, and it technically could have still held more. Absolutely fantastic car.
