2026 Subaru Ascent review
Have had Ascent for 3 weeks. Have learned most of the controls. A couple of the safety features are annoying and have disabled them. Sound system is great! Ride and quietness are wonderful. Handling on mountain roads not quite as good as my 2014 Outback but still very good. Only real gripes are interior side of driver's door has sharp edges which bother my left knee in normal driving position and not as much room for personal glovebox junk as I had in my Outback. Gets overall about 22 mpg.

Saloum recognized the part we needed serviced was slightly outside of warranty and that we had to drive over one hour to Subaru. He leveraged our 14 year commitment to Subaru ownership to them advocate to corporate Subaru for a Goodwill Adjustment. Saloum did so with out me brining up this key program. His recognition of brand loyalty and high customer insight made this experience world class. Ms. Pena, if you are I search of a brand ambassador and benchmark for customer service, Saloum is prime for future opportunities with Group 1.
