I need to start by saying Rudy and the dealership he works for went above and beyond for me. I work a lot of hours and a single mom so my time is limited, so he brought me the truck I wanted to see and drove mine to get appraised. I received what I wanted for my trade in and got a great deal on a new Ford Ranger Lariat. By time I was ready to purchase I only had to walk in and sign the papers! Practical. We love our 2020 Ascent Limited and we live in the south. We have a large family and this is great while the kids are small. Once more than three are teenagers, we'll definitely need a larger vehicle that provides more leg room if you're sitting on the back row. Love the convenience and ease of how the rear seats fold forward when I'm shopping and/or loading up from the back. The 10 year 100k mile warranty was reasonably priced at less than $2.5k. Haven't had to use it yet (knock on wood). Again, it's practical so the seats aren't as plush as premium vehicles but they're nice and comfortable. This pretty much describes the interior. The electronics are comparable to most vehicles. It has everything you need but nothing over the top. (Again, practical.) Greatly appreciate the cabin air filter and ease of changing it. I like smelling a fresh interior all the time. We're in the south where it's high in pollen, so the HEPA cabin filter is perfect. In my opinion the Ascent is a great mid-size SUV option that looks nice, is practical and has that Subaru reliability.

Purchase our Ascent June of 2022 ,love the vehicle it now has little over 44,000 miles on it put new tires on at 29,000 not because of wear but for long trips,brakes are still in great shape at last inspection,we are retired but travel with our dog companion,this car has traveled to New Mexico across to Florida and to Florida every winter and also to Maine and the comfort is just fantastic and our overall gas mileage is twenty five MPG and yes when and if we need to trade it will be another Subaru!

From intake through waiting experience to delivery of vehicle post service, an amazingly great experience. Erik, Service Lane Manager was awesome! My service advisor, Zack, kept me informed and answered questions during the service process. The walkthrough video of the multipoint inspection of my car was very well done! All in all, one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! This is my sixth visit to Austin Subaru since moving here and this one was stellar! Was able to apply points (from previous service visits) to my total. Saved $50! Only an oil change and tire rotation, but was out in less than an hour!

My first Subaru, I enjoy the power from the interior space is good. My only regret was not get the 8 passenger. I bought the ascent that has the second row bucket seats.I would rather have the second row as a bench

I recently traded in my 2022 Ascent for a similar 2023 model. The 2022 model had brakes issues/noises right from the beginning of ownership. Subaru gave me a great deal on the 2023 model. A number of improvement were found on the 2023 model. Obvious one is the exterior styling with new front grille, headlights and taillights. Interior improvements include updated Eyesight, quieter ride, better steering and brakes, larger multimedia screen including front and backup camera screens, driver profile system. A few other tweaks here and there, making the 2023 Ascent Touring a decent and very safe SUV. Not necessarily sporty or thrilling but perfect vehicle for commuting in town and long road trips.

This is my 4th Subaru and my 2nd Ascent. Overall it is a superb vehicle with minor issues in my view. The Driver Monitoring function is basically annoying. Either it disables itself or doesn’t alert at all (I’m always wearing sunglasses). The infotainment screen, at boot up, is agonizingly slow with some improvement after a couple of minutes. I assume that it is a processor issue. The front camera switch is in an awkward position (on the center console). It should be on the steering wheel or an icon on the screen. Acceleration is very good, brakes and steering as well. It is very quiet. Visibility is outstanding. All of the safety features are major pluses. Seats are very comfortable.

Very positive! Was helped by Jason Clark, who went above and beyond! He even took a video of him showing the car, sent me a cost estimate, and answered my questions. He and management agreed to take my deposit, pending my arrival in Texas from California later in the month! I'm looking forward to getting there and completing the purchase! Nice team at Georgetown Subaru! Thank you, particularly Jason! Also, knowing the Subaru had been looked over and problems fixed from a Subaru dealer was a big plus for my comfort level.

Have owned this 2019 Subaru ascent touring model for just over 2 years. Eye site feature is my fav. Car responds to changing traffic speeds automatically. great in heavy highway traffic. The Subaru service department at my dealership keeps it in tp top shape. I highly highly recommend this car. I'm sure the newer models are even better.

Beautiful vehicle. Plenty of power, excellent braking. Fit and finish is outstanding. More headroom that other SUV's we drove. Right size for us, plenty of room in a midsize+ vehicle. Love the 4-wheel drive. Highly recommend.

2020 Subaru Accent met all my needs and dreams. Very smooth, sleek interior, full moon roof, interior exterior lighting is beautiful. Classy luxury SUV able to tow 5k lbs, turbo engine and many safety features .

We were looking for a specific vehicle and found it on Cars.com. Sewell reached out immediately. I explained this was a purchase for my parents, who were use to driving around from dealer to dealer. I told my Mom and Dad there was an easier way. Will was our sales person and he reached out immediately providing me with all the vehicle info. We agreed to meet with him the next morning . When we arrived at Sewell, Will greeted us and was so friendly and kind. My parents were overwhelmed with the dignity and respect this dealership showed us even though my parent’s barely speak English. They have always been intimidated in high class places but they felt so welcomed- like family. Before you start thinking - Oh it’s because they bought a Rover… no they didn’t , they bought a used Chevy in pristine condition. The most impressive take away is that they didn’t treat us any less than their usual client base. They offered to wash the car and do an oil change and deliver it to her home the next day. All I can say is that Sewell Land Rover North Austin deserves to be recognized for excellent customer service and to thank Will for having the the most genuine care for us. I hope all dealers would learn from this dealership … It’s not always all about the money. I am positively certain the next time I look for a vehicle I won’t be going anywhere else.

The safety feature saved us before we had 100 miles on the car. A van ran a stop a sign and the automatic braking stopped us 6-12" from being broadsided. Van was going 30 - 35MPH so it was great that we were saved by that.

We just traded our 2019 Ascent Touring, 52K miles (purchased used with 18K miles, and about 18 months old). We had no issues with the SUV. The turbo is just powerful enough to not worry about the power when needed. Interior held up very well to all the passengers, cargo, and 2 basset hounds as well. We're already sad and looking to get another one (we had downsized to Outback, but miss the big brute for many reasons, one of which is its interior space). I see some negative reviews here with brakes and other recall items, but somehow, we didn't experience either of those. Like I said, we're looking for another one, in hindsight we should've kept it. The only gripe I have is the poor tire choice by the Subaru, the original tires didn't last beyond 25k miles, replaced them with Continental tires and those should last the next owner for a while (originals were rated at 35k miles). Will update this post once we find a new one.

This is one of the best cars I have ever driven, and at 82, having driven for sixty four years, I have owned or leased one of almost everything. Subaru, in my opinion, is the best product there is. My dealership in Tucson is an award winning find, and now that this is my fourth Dubsru in thevv CB last six years, I can truly say I have found a great car.

I was treated so well at Toyota of Cedar Park. My sales person was Damian Denova , he was so knowledgeable , honest and helpful. I bought a Rav 4 and absolutely love it. I have had some questions since I brought it home and I text Damian and he gets right back to me and helps me with any technical issues I have with the car and Apple Car play. I was also helped one day by Jessie who was friendly and very knowledgeable. The manager Michael really made me feel like a valued customer. This car is spacious with very comfortable seating and many extra features that make me feel like I am riding in style. It came with a giant sun roof, clear bra, options for navigation and phone apps, choice of car mats (rubber or carpet) and rides so smooth. I love my new Subaru!!

I was selling my 4Runner and Tommy reached out to me. After a few emails we agreed on a price they would buy it for. And he drove from Buda all the way up to Northwest Austin to purchase it from me. He did what he said he would.

We bought this because of the great experience that we have had with a 2020 Forester Touring and expect this car to be solid reliable as well. BUT - I am on my second example of this vehicle, in Onyx Touring trim, because the first one delivered to me had a serious internal engine defect that was causing a plume of oil smoke occasionally at startup. Subaru finally decided after a month that they would replace the original vehicle. This defect is not typical, as far as I can tell. Aside from that, the acceleration is quite good, even though the throttle is very touchy at take off. By the way, you CAN get 20 mpg or so out of it if you are careful, but expect only about 18.5 miles to the gallon on average if you have a heavy foot, because spooling up the turbo makes it suck fuel like a dragster. The car has a quality feel to it and is comfortable and quiet. The digital rearview mirror is a plus if you carry a lot of cargo because it displays the rear camera image instead of a convention mirror. The front seats are very supportive and have a lumbar support with both vertical and depth adjustment. The rear captain seats are excellent. The Ascent couples the Driver Monitoring System with the Lane Centering System, which will cause disabling of lane centering if the Driver Monitor System fails to recognize a driver. This is the only real irritation that I have with the driver assist functions. To be frank, I have seen more features on other vehicles in this price class, like, specifically, power folding third row seats and power steering column adjustments, which aren't even available on an Ascent, but overlooked that in favor of the expected durability. Since we already own the 2020 Forester, we have become accustomed to the Subaru quirks, like a poor user interface for the infotainment system, which we bypass by using Apple Car Play, and the persistent seatbelt alarms that are somewhat akin to riding around with an overprotective mother, but there are ways around that. Be aware that the oil change interval for the 2.5 litre turbo engine is only 6000 miles and Subaru recommends synthetic motor oil as well, so maintenance costs will probably be higher than other vehicles.

Kenneth Hall was our sales person and he was very nice and professional. Great to work with! Even the finance person was pleasant! I didn't buy a Honda, but wanted a Jeep that they had taken in a trade, but it was a very experience and didn't take all day!

7th Subaru for this Alaskan. This is the best I’ve ever had. Bought the Touring edition, new, & still blown away by the rig. Tested out with a cross country camping trip & comfort, adaptability, utilities, dependability - all a 5. Took a tent, but not even needed, w/firm foam to create a level, comfy bed area. Now I get why my cousin tried to replace his Ascent Touring with a Lincoln Navigator. Ended up selling the Nav to go back to an Ascent Touring. The first Sub I’ve had that Dad proclaimed ‘comfortable’ and ‘perfect’. I chose the Captains chairs for the 2nd seat, and passengers have loved the comfort & their view, as well as their controls, drink holders, etc. I love the options to simply control everything. Almost killed by a drunk driver long ago, I keep a very close eye on everything around me. Visibility in this rig is mind blowing. And that’s on top of all the cameras that monitor what’s happening. Safety features are perfect. Like listening to music, radio, podcasts? Sound in the Touring edition is heavenly. Very, very impressed with this rig.

Great car but excessive tones/beeps/alarms/etc. Jolting. You think something is wrong with the car. Especially the seat belt one—SCREAMS at you. Creates stupid drivers who rely on all these warnings.

I'm still driving the 2019 Ascent with 56k miles. Other than a few recalls handled quickly, no issues whatsoever. Dependable, quiet, performance, comfort. I just had a loaner of the 2023 Ascent Touring model and I was amazed at the improvements. While I am keeping and love my 2019, the 2023 has improved handling, quieter, the transmission is certainly smoother and a solid and comfortable ride. Perhaps it has to due with the Touring model. I am not certain. I find my Subaru dealer to be honest, supportive and with an educated staff. This Ascent is large, which I enjoy immensely and without any family. The fit and finish is outstanding and the dash is quality components. No cheap plastic knobs or low grade materials. I would encourage you to test drive one today.

As always, I found everything to be outstanding!! This time I was there for my regular scheduled maintenance. From the time I entered the facility and until the work is completed, I feel that I came to the right place. Not only is the building, a State of Art, but the personnel are so caring to your situation. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention my Service Advisor, Jesse Bracamont. he is to definitely an asset to City Limits Subaru.

The amount of safety features on this car is almost too much to count. It’s great that you can turn them on off for when you want to have a little fun without the kids in the car. Plenty of power and love the space. Sad that it only gets 22 average mpg and only has a 17 gallon tank. Biggest complaint is the gas tank size

After a lot of time and research we started our journey with a new Subaru Ascent. We then test drove 4 other vehicles and I didn't have the same feeling as I did in the Ascent. We originally were looking at a 2025; however, there was a beautiful new 2024 Subaru Ascent and that was the one! There is more room, I like the head space since we have some taller people in the family. We don't really use the third row, but it has come in handy and I am pleased with that. We keep it down a lot. As far as driving this vehicle, I am very comfortable and happy with this. You get a smooth ride with it and the engine has pick up when needed. This is my first keyless car; however, we had to have the remote start, we got spoiled. With that we needed to subscribe to Subaru and it was a small fee for 5 years, but there is a lot you can do on your phone. I like the screen and how well you can see while in reverse. I like the placement of the screen. I'm 5'2" and I can handle this vehicle and I am confident. Being short I liked that I can almost "kiss" the front and I am not tight and I can see clearly. My husband is taller and you have 2 presets for the driver's seat. One thing is that they offer a "refresher" type appointment and we went. It was one person who took us through our vehicle and the features and any questions that we had were answered. Had the questions been more important, I would have called his number ahead of time.

This is my second Subaru Ascent. My first was the 2019, and when it came time that my son needed a car, we decided to pass that one on to him since I drive a lot and it had almost 100,000 miles on it. We went out and test drove other SUV's, and after doing so, decided on getting another Subaru Ascent because of how much I enjoyed the first one. The 2019 recall kinks seem to have been worked out in the 2023 model. What I can say about even the 2019 though is that the manufacturer stood behind the items that needed to be fixed, even replacing my whole transmission when the recall patch did not work correctly. We are now a Subaru family.

I was able to quickly be seen, vehicle was evaluated, parts were available, and I scheduled to drop the car off the next morning. The Subaru location is beautiful and easily seen from the interstate, which is the reason why I ended up in Buda with my car. The work was completed that I had approved and I was able to get my car back the same day. A loaner vehicle was brought up, if the vehicle was going to remain for more work, but was not necessary. I was glad to know it was going to be available. Multiple texts and phone calls were made to update me and I loved the ability to approve work through their online system by using my phone. Everything went smoothly and I think most people would enjoy the easy access to what was happening to their vehicle. I will definitely be returning in the future for any work we need. We test drove the Grand Hylander and the Kia and this was by far the best riding vehicle. We love the all-wheel drive and the comfort of the seats. Drives quiet and super smooth. We were also able to get the car for significantly less than the other two options.
