We were in no mood or space to buy a car this past weekend, but life had other plans when our Kia started kicking the bucket. We had to find something fast, and within our budget, but also wanted something that we actually WANTED: AWD, sizeable, newer, clean and well maintained. And because we're currently in the process of trying to buy a house, we had a lot of financial needs: in a budget, paying cash, etc. I was already stressed when I walked into Groove Toyota, and anticipating a downhill morning. Enter Mr. Byron Fludd. This man! From the second he introduced himself I started feeling better. Kind, understanding, funny, and he actually LISTENED when we told him all of our needs. The car we saw online was already sold. Byron found us something better for less cost, the size and age and mileage we were hoping for and made the entire process so unbelievably painless. We arrived at 10am and were out of there by 12:30ish? And I think the only reason it took that long is because Byron made sure the new whip was extra-detailed, and also printed us a copy of the CarFax so we had it. I could not be more grateful for our new (used) GMC Acadia, and I can't thank Groove Toyota and sweet Byron enough for taking SUCH good care of us. My husband said multiple times this past weekend that we'll be buying our next car with Byron and Groove Toyota, no question. Every car buying experience for me before this past weekend had been full of pressure, price hikes, and undue stress. Our experience last Saturday changed all that. 2006 Subaru B9 Tribeca review
Looked for a used Subaru to replace my Toyota RAV4 which was unexpectedly rear ended and totaled. It was very pristine & when I saw it I knew I’d love driving it. It’s a solid state and beautifully designed vehicle. Comfortable to the Nth degree, the back and lumbar support is fantastic. It’s as dependable as any Toyota (which is important to me). It’s got a ton of mileage left to log and at 115k I’m confident enough to drive it to New England or the West coast. Love it’s smooth handling and sense of “serious car” because you don’t get this level of engineering at low cost, and it rides “expensive.” I feel like I’m in a Mercedes.

2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca review
It is currently 06/13/2022, my 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca Limited is (I mean this) the best factory SUV of all time. Of any brand, any year. I (24 y/o) was taught to drive a decade ago, in this car. Purchased it off from my mother, and still use it daily. I've owned other SUV's, and was a valet driver for 4 years which allowed me to drive just about any vehicle (besides the extreme) you can think of. I mean this wholeheartedly, my 7 seater, 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca has been comfortable, seen 130mph, and has handled turns/curves at speeds any other SUV would never stand a chance with. This SUV defies sport utility vehicle. 180,000 miles on the dash, and will go 0-60mph in 7-8 seconds (fasted documented 7.38). I will hold onto this discontinued gem until the car world realizes the potential the H6 3.0 DOHC Boxer engine holds. When this car was manufactured I was playing little league baseball, I have been able to avoid life threatening accidents because of the responsive steering and control, driven through 9" snow storms and make it home safe. I've had the liberty, on closed courses, to drive in competitive timed course runs and beat out sedans like Lexus, Infinity, Honda, Toyota. Truly designed to be a "soccer mom" SUV, this vehicle has altered my perspective on modern day cars and SUVs. I cannot express enough how reliable, safe, and fun the B9 Tribeca has been to me through the years. The Subaru Ascent seems to be inspired from the B9 Tribeca, however I've driven it. Nothing compares. THE CLOSEST COMPARISON I HAVE: 2015 Audi q5 or 2017 Acura MDX. It's a great match for me. Excellent safety standards, great in poor weather, versatile interior space, award winning interior design, peppy (but not fast), and exterior styling that I really like. Apparently, most people didn't like it. I think the redesign was boring.
