This is what I sent Danielle from Schomp Subaru yesterday after I got into my new car and a lease for the first time please read 💕 You are an amazing human, you treated me like I was human. You got stung by a wasp!! And you kept your cool. You didn't stop trying to help me, a stranger that made bad financial decision. Your health took a back seat today after that sting. 2026 Subaru Forester review
My 2nd Subaru, quiet and roomy. I am 6'2" and this is the first car with the leg room and interior height where I do not feel cramped. Just the perfect size vehicle for my wife and I for getting around. Smooth ride and excellent handling. Visibility from the drivers seat is outstanding, The surround vision on our Touring model is very helpful for getting into tight parking and judging distances to objects in front or behind us. The ability to switch the review mirror from Mirror to Camera Mode for viewing objects beneath the hatchback window. The remote start with climate set has spoiled us for getting into a cold car in the winter or unbearably hot in summer. The information main screen was intimidating at first, but after a month we are quite comfortable with it. The menus at first seemed overwhelming but we quickly learned that once they are setup to our needs, they do not have to be accessed again, especially with the facial recognition making the comfort settings when either one of us sit in the drivers seat. My biggest complaint so far, is that if you turn off the engine start/stop function , you are reminded every time you start the car that it is indeed off and to confirm by pressing the confirm button on the screen. Very annoying. other than that we are very happy with the 2026 Forester Touring.

2026 Subaru Forester review
Outstanding vehicle. Quiet, dependable, comfortable. Acceptable power and economy. Pity the turbo is no longer available. This is our fourth Subie. No issues with any of them. Change the oil every six months and do the timing belt at 100K miles and it’s good for 200K plus.

I didn’t intend to buy a car when I walked in, but I had a lease expiring and wanted to see the 2026 Solterra. They addressed every concern I had—lease return to another dealer, interest rate, light colored interior, height of car for ease of entry. The process took an afternoon, but went smoothly with friendly customer service. Filling out forms was a little quick for me to take in all to which I was agreeing, but they have reached out to me with multiple ways to ask questions, sent me cookies, and took care of my leased car. CarMax Texas Stadium (Irving) review
I went in with the intention of buying a car, I wanted to get a used but good car from the lot. I was trying to test drive some vehicles but the employee insisted we talk numbers first, that was a bit annoying but i could live with it. Over all the trip was ok and i learned a lot about financing.
2026 Subaru Forester review
This is my first Subaru. So far I love it. We will be taking it on a 300+ mile trip this weekend and it will be the real test!
