My third Subaru and like the others is attractive and roomy enough to fit 5. I've hauled 8ft boards inside with the doors/trunk closed (only an Outback would hold more). The (now sadly discontinued) 6-cyl engine has about 51000 miles now and is smooth and sounds better than a four. Fuel economy is decent and, on regular gas, averages in the low 20s. It has all the 'nannies' which make driving safer for me. I just love looking at my car which is important to me. This one's a keeper!

from the first day I had it I haven’t had any issues with it as it handles great and gas economy is awesome. I don’t have a negative to write. I drove Lincoln’s for the last 20 or more years and because they stopped making cars and only Crossovers or SVU’s, I searched high and low to find an equivalent car and googled all the options that were a must and the Subaru Legacy Elite came up and my husband and I went to look and drove out with our new car and couldn’t be happier. The ride is comfortable and the car is just great.

Has been good so far. Pick up car tomorrow, will see then. They were not pushy at all.

Purchased new in March 2018 Legacy Limited 2.5. Used as main commuting car until late 2023-now has 89000 miles. Commute 84 miles roundtrip at 80-85 mph, very steady and secure and 29-30mpg. Excellent in heavy rain (never driven in snow) we get in Houston. Will keep 4 more years but Subaru discontinued the Legacy so likely another brand if I want a sedan.

I drive eighty miles round trip to work. My Legacy is quiet, comfortable and the Eye Sight is great! I’m safe and secure knowing my Subaru has my back. I’d like better mpg but at 32 on average I guess I shouldn’t complain. Love my Subie!

Nice car and great finish. We are pleased with everything, but would like the mileage we are experienced is less than advertised. The interior clock and outside temperature readings are in conveniently located. Other than that the car is A-1. Great value for the money.

We had a transmission on the fritz and almost got stranded on Sunday, contacted 512 Auto Sales and had a new car reserved on Monday. We found this dealership on Cars.com as I was searching for a good used car with lots of life left. This isn’t a great time to buy a vehicle with the crazy inflation and supply chain issues, so trying to find a reliable car at a fair price can be difficult. Mark, the owner, was very honest, friendly, knew his cars inside and out, and didn’t pressure my wife and I to purchase from him at all. He was very responsive when I had questions while we were arranging financing and insurance. He and his daughter walked us through the buying process and it felt so quick and easy. We were in and out within an hour. If you are in the market for a used car and don’t want to deal with a big name dealer and pushy salesmen, this is the place for you! Bought 2013 Legacy 2.5 premium in early 2014 with approximately 9k miles. Now has 88k and other than routine maintenance no other issues. It has been and remains one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned. That includes a few BMW’s and Mercedes. Great all year round especially in the winter. Will definitely consider another Subaru if this one ever xxxxxx. Hoping not

Amazing car! Bought it with about 92k miles on it almost a year ago. Great reliability so far, no issues at all. Very well maintained, my only issue is that it doesn't have Bluetooth, which, I know, it's a minor thing, but my old car had it (2013 base Subaru Forester, -10/10 do not recommend). The Legacy still drives like brand new, and is very comfortable on the highway and backroads. Decent gas mileage for the age, averaging around 25 in the city and 32/35 on the highway. No issues with the CVT, either. Not even showing signs of wear, after more than 10 years and 100k miles! Built to last!

I purchased my 2018 Legacy Limited with 2.5 L engine (50th anniversary edition) with heritage blue exterior and black leather interior in May 2018. I’m 75 years old and have been driving since I was 15. I’ve owned many vehicles during my life, both domestic and foreign made. The ‘18 Legacy is the best car I have ever owned. Generally, I don’t care for CVT transmissions but this CVT mated to the 2.5 liter engine is surprisingly quick in city driving. On the highway it accelerates and cruises effortlessly. Surprising for a non turbo, non hybrid 4 cylinder gasoline engine. Approximately 25 mpg around town and 37 Hwy. Fit and finish are excellent on my Legacy both interior and exterior. 4 years later the cabin remains quiet with no squeaks or rattles. The ride is smooth and luxuriously comfortable. It absorbs road imperfections nicely. Seats are comfortable with plenty of legroom front and rear. Plenty of Eyesight safety features but without the annoying auto stop/start and ACTIVE lane keep assist (these 2 features were added after 2018). The infotainment system is not perfect but overall well designed - My one criticism is that the voice recognition feature is mediocre. In summary, a very, very nice well made 4 door sedan.

The Legacy has all the amenities I was looking for in a used car which is hard to find in a 2018. They style of this car inside and out is awesome.

I had buyers remorse after I bought this car new. It was a huge step down in noise and luxury, space and hauling power compared to my 2004 Honda Accord EX. This car has a problem with cargo space both in the trunk and in the cabin. The center slot won't even hold the larger iPhone. Yeah, there's the center armrest compartment but Everything gets lost in there. Not visible, you will forget it. The side panels don't hold much, not even my binoculars. The car is reliable and runs well. It's a little wimpy in the power department but it does get pretty good gas milage. Only a single exhaust and the gas smell is very noxious. Don't back it into the driveway and expect to warm it up on cool mornings. The fumes are likely to kill you. All in all though, I would recommend this car to a friend if they understand the limitations.
