Very friendly and good staff. Joe helped me getting my new, but used, car with bery smooth transactions. The finance person was also very helpful on the last step. I give 4 starts because I was not able to talk to anyone after the service. One thing I would recommend is make sure you have all ready before walk out with the car, otherwise, it is hard to reach out to them again. Other than this, 5 star dealership.

2021 Subaru Legacy review

2018 Subaru Legacy review
Purchased new in March 2018 Legacy Limited 2.5. Used as main commuting car until late 2023-now has 89000 miles. Commute 84 miles roundtrip at 80-85 mph, very steady and secure and 29-30mpg. Excellent in heavy rain (never driven in snow) we get in Houston. Will keep 4 more years but Subaru discontinued the Legacy so likely another brand if I want a sedan.

My experience has been better than I would have expected from a private used car dealership! Many cars in inventory to choose from. I was able to find my Subaru although older than i personally wanted, but it met my budget perfectly. 2019 Subaru Legacy review
I drive eighty miles round trip to work. My Legacy is quiet, comfortable and the Eye Sight is great! I’m safe and secure knowing my Subaru has my back. I’d like better mpg but at 32 on average I guess I shouldn’t complain. Love my Subie!

2010 Subaru Legacy review
I bought a 2010 legacy, with 209,000 on it and I've taken it on a couple of trips for over 5 hours a piece and it's a reliable and sturdy car, love the design as well, love subarus and I'm from Vermont so I consider AWD essential, doesn't ride like a tin can, would buy another one for sure.

2011 Subaru Legacy review
Amazing car! Bought it with about 92k miles on it almost a year ago. Great reliability so far, no issues at all. Very well maintained, my only issue is that it doesn't have Bluetooth, which, I know, it's a minor thing, but my old car had it (2013 base Subaru Forester, -10/10 do not recommend). The Legacy still drives like brand new, and is very comfortable on the highway and backroads. Decent gas mileage for the age, averaging around 25 in the city and 32/35 on the highway. No issues with the CVT, either. Not even showing signs of wear, after more than 10 years and 100k miles! Built to last!

Safford Subaru Manassas review
Eric was great, as usual. This was my 3rd new vehicle through him and I also sent a co-worker in who purchased too. The issue is not with the sales team, it’s with the finance dept. I am still waiting on resolution for an extended warranty I purchased with my new car last month. Shockingly the $$$mistake is in the dealers favor. 2 emails ghosted and no credit back to either my loan principal or my credit card. My suggestion is to just purchase the vehicle there and decline EVERYTHING the finance department offers then run out the door. Sales gets a 5, Finance dept 1 1/2. I will give them the rest of this week to keep up there end of the contract before I envolve corporate.
2025 Subaru Legacy review
Replaced my 10 yr old Legacy as 2025 is the last model year. I loved my 2015 Legacy. Very reliable and no issues at all at 122k. Hoping for the same. The 2025 has some nice improvements. So far, so good!

What a pleasant experience. My first time financing a vehicle. When going to initially look at the vehicle, I discovered a few issues. Obviously no used car is going to be perfect, nor was I expecting it to be. They told me to come back the next day and the issues would be fixed. I came back and they did in fact fix the car. 2016 Subaru Legacy review
My third Subaru and like the others is attractive and roomy enough to fit 5. I've hauled 8ft boards inside with the doors/trunk closed (only an Outback would hold more). The (now sadly discontinued) 6-cyl engine has about 51000 miles now and is smooth and sounds better than a four. Fuel economy is decent and, on regular gas, averages in the low 20s. It has all the 'nannies' which make driving safer for me. I just love looking at my car which is important to me. This one's a keeper!

After a disappointing and costly experience with my previous 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross and a local dealer/Toyota Corporate (due to manufacturer defect), I was looking for a fresh start with another car maker. My journey with Safford Brown Subaru in Manassas started with some frustration—I drove an hour from DC for a vehicle I was told was available, only to find it wasn't there when I arrived. However, the way the team handled that initial setback is exactly why they deserve five stars. Instead of the typical "bait-and-switch" feeling, Habby (Sales) and Kayla (Manager) were incredibly professional and transparent. They worked hard to make things right, ensuring the rest of the process was smooth, low-pressure, and respectful of my time. The team truly listened to my needs and worked with impressive efficiency to locate a vehicle with my color and options preferences. They also prioritized my vehicle for a service fix to address a recent safety recall. I also appreciated their transparency regarding their 1.5% credit card fee; being able to put the entire car purchase on my AmEx for the rewards was a huge plus, and they were upfront about the cost from the start. Since I am coming from a difficult mechanical situation with my previous new car, I will be keeping a close eye on how this new hybrid in the Crosstrek line performs. 2025 Subaru Legacy review
Bought the Legacy Touring XT model. Previously owned Lexus and Infinitis, and this is a good or better than those cars. Smooth handling and responsive engine/ride. Dashboard is easier to use than expected. Nice connection to Airplay. Speakers are great. Safety systems are very good. Leather is luxurious. I would never have selected this car if I didn't already own a Forrester, which is also well built. I feel like I bought a luxury car for a 15K discount if not more

2015 Subaru Legacy review
My husband initially gave a lot of pushback when I told him this was "the car for me". His car broke down just before a planned long-distance trip, so he had to take his turn behind the wheel of my Subaru. Every wife loves to hear " You were right"! It handled ice, snow and everything else with ease plus great MPG!

2025 Subaru Legacy review
I was planning to buy a luxury brand and test drove the BMW 3 series, the Audi A4, and the Lexus ES300. I then, due to reviews on Consumer Reports, tested the Subaru Legacy in it's top form, the Touring XT with a 260 HP engine, and I was blown away. Almost as quick as the BMW but rode smoother and quieter. Not as smooth and quiet as the Lexus, but more fun to drive. The Audi seemed cramped and the dealer was a disappointment. The Legacy interior was the most attractive in my opinion, has 4 wheel drive, a great sound system, and ended up being my favorite of the 4 cars, regardless of price. When you consider how competitive (or better) the Legacy is compared to the other 3 cars, and that I saved $13,000 on the price, it was a no brainer. It's really sad the Legacy is being discontinue, but all my comments also apply to the Outback Touring XT. The Legacy is a great car at a bargain price.

2008 Subaru Legacy review
I drove my '08 Legacy for years and was so sad when she was totaled at 125k miles. She would've gone another 125k if she could've! I would highly recommend, especially for tall drivers like me because of the headroom. No major maintenance until about 110k when I had to replace the timing belt, radiator, power steering pump/hose, drive belts, etc., but the original head gasket stayed in great shape. She never left me stranded and I loved her. Super cool car, very reliable, practical, smooth ride with AWD and good looking, so sad she's gone!

2016 Subaru Legacy review
My third Subaru and like the others is attractive, roomy, of ample size to fit 4 or 5. I've hauled 8ft pipes inside with the doors/trunk closed (only an Outback would hold more). The (now sadly discontinued) 6-cyl engine sounds better than the four, and fuel economy (regular gas) is in the low 20s on average. It has all the 'nannies' which make driving safer for me. I just love looking at my car which is important for me.
