I couldn’t even feel it; I watched the speedometer. Love the safety features and extras like seat warmers and large sunroof.

When we could not get the pricing to work, Charles sent me to Ravi Patel. He was helpful, kind and very knowledgeable about all the products in my inquiries. Through the deal, I also met with Joel Cruz. He was a whiz at getting me the best price, the best vehicle and provided the best service. Now, I do not live close... I live about 35 miles away... but I will ALWAYS come back to Brunswick for this high quality of service. Kudos to Brunswick for doing it right! Last November I drove my 2018 Outback Premium (which I loved) to the local dealer to test drive a 2025 Limited XT and get the complimentary $50 Visa card they were promoting at the time, and ended up driving back in the new XT. Following are my impressions after 10 months of ownership. We're big fans of Subaru's safety tech. My wife's car is a 2023 Forester, and the Reverse Automatic Braking has saved her from at least one accident. Her previous car was a 2021 Hyundai Tucson, and its reverse sensors seemed like they never worked. If safety is a priority, you won't find many manufacturers that beat Subaru (same for their all wheel drive system). The newer generation EyeSight system is superior to the 2018's. I would commonly turn off the Pre-Collision Braking on the 2018 (which was easy with the physical switch unlike the virtual switch accessible only through the head unit on the 2025) since I found it to be oversensitive when I was following someone making a right turn. The 2018 would prematurely brake which I feared could lead to being rear ended. My 2025 does not have the same issue, and while it has given me a blinking/beeping warning in the dash display in similar situations, it has not started actually braking like the 2018. For me, I have found I only get warnings from the car when my driving actually warrants it. The extra power of the 2.4L turbo (XT) was a big selling point, although I feel it's not mated to the CVT as well as the non-turbo 2.5L. There is noticeable throttle lag with the XT which you have to get used to, but man, it really moves after that momentary lag. I never found my 2018 non-turbo to be underpowered, but I definitely love the extra punch of the turbo. One of my biggest hesitancies with the 2025 was all the touchscreen buttons/menus of the head unit, but the joy of driving the car has softened my annoyance. Since I don't feel the need to shut off any safety features, I never have to look for them in the head unit menus. When I start the car, I only turn off the auto start/stop with the dedicated button at the bottom of the screen and wait the usual 20-30 seconds for the head unit to fully boot up giving the turbo/engine time to get lubricated before I put her into drive. I'm a big fan of wireless Android Auto and have found it to be very stable (and much better than the wireless dongles I tried with the 2018). I use the automatic climate control 99% of the time, so I don't miss the physical buttons and knobs in the dash (all I need are temperature up/down which ARE physical buttons). It's a great cruising vehicle with a great ride, and I look forward to packing the family inside for extended road trips. I'm happy we have the last year of the "wagon" generation of Outbacks and plan to keep it for many enjoyable miles.

Scheduling and check-in were quick and effortless, and despite being in the middle of renovations, the team handled everything with impressive efficiency. Truly a top-notch experience!

I’ve owned this car for about 18 months. It has I bought it new and it now has about 17,000 miles on it. I love driving it. The safety features are excellent! The performance is good. I’m getting around 32 MPG for all around driving. I have the car maintained at the dealership and haven’t had any mechanical issues. I would definitely recommend this car.

Next to top rating in Consumer Reports. Lives up to its rating 100%. Only concerns thus far, after three weeks of use. 1) takes time to learn use of various electrical and mechanical controls -- after 20+plus years of VW Jetta ownership, "a lot is different." Just have to be patient learning all the new features. 2) Auto-safety features (staying in lanes, braking distance warning, etc.) are helpful to some less-attentive drivers but annoying to this long-experienced user. Fortunately, they can be turned off and stop the chirping.

Overall great experience. The mechanic even worked into his lunch to get my repairs done quickly. My service coordinator was excellent and really kept me in the loop with everything.

I like the solid feel of the car and the sturdy and high ride. Good acceleration. It would be a better SUV if the ground clearance was at least 10” or 12”, with the exhaust pipe properly tucked away!

I think for the most part, I like my car. I have had a couple issues, one of them is probably not the cars fault, (but seeing other people have the same issue, it makes me wonder) I now have 50k miles on it and in that time I have only had to replace the battery and tires, to be expected on a 6 year old car. (and windshield) The windshield is the questionable item. It seemed to crack out of nowhere and I thought I must have gotten a small rock chip while driving down the highway and just didn't see it until it started to crack. So I replaced it at a cost of almost $1000. However, I am on an Outback form and it seems to be a common complaint with outback owners of this year, having the windshield crack out of nowhere. Could it be the frame design? Maybe, but it does seem suspicious that others have had the same issue. One other problem I have had is if I let my car sit unused for like 5 days, the battery goes completely dead. There seems to be a parasitic drain somewhere on the car. It doesn't happen if I drive it every day, but if it sits for about 5 days unused, the battery goes completely dead. I have read it has something to do with the DCS system in the car, but you have to pay the dealer a diagnostic fee to verify. I drive it enough I have not gotten it checked, but next time I am at the dealer I am going to ask them about it.

Great value considering the superior safety features, low maintenance and reliability. Rear wheel bearings have been replaced twice and just had the AC compressor and serpentine belt replaced. Albeit expensive repairs, all cars need something after the first 3 years. It's been 8 years and the car still run and drives like new.

The service department here is very good. Tyler the Service Manager is by far one of the best people I have ever dealt with at a dealership. He was very thorough and professional. Never tried to upsell me on additional services. I was just in for a simple oil change but never expected a full inspection and a check over my vehicle included. Definitely 10 stars in my book.

Bought my 2015 Subaru 2.0XT Touring brand spanking new off the Subaru dealership's lot. Have owned it all this time about 9 years straight. Take care of your car with regular oil changes, servicing at recommended intervals, and your car will take care of you. Performed the required recalls during service periods. Not 1 single regret on owning this car, ever. It rides smooth and true. Had a clicking issue in the ball joints 2 years ago which Subaru fixed free of charge. Other than that, this car has been my dream machine.

LOVE this car, maybe a little biased since this is my 5th Forester, my 2nd Wilderness. My first Wilderness was totaled in a head-on collision when a young driver spilled coffee and veered into my lane and struck me head-on. That was my 1st Subaru Forester Wilderness and IT SAVED MY LIFE. Full curtain all-around airbag deployment with a roll, the Wilderness coming to rest on it's right side, me still strapped into seatbelt, and the Subaru automatic crash notification with a live person on the speakers asking me if I was ok and needed 911! Smoke still coming from the airbag deployments, and there is a live person coming over the speakers asking me if I'm ok. It was surreal. SUBARU FORESTER WILDERNESS SAVED MY LIFE! TYVM Subaru! LOVE this car! Gets 25+ MPG with conservative driving, a great ride and suspension, superior traction in mud and snow, load-out practically anything/rack bikes (or whatever on the roof racks), sleep in the back with ample room, superior rear-gate lift mechanism with memory, seats super-comfortable and easily adjustable, solid rear-seat leg-room, easy rear-seat fold-downs for massive cargo area that takes my full HVAC tool load-out for servicing ice baths all over the NorthEast US. A great value, especially CPO with +10K mileage (vs. new) MONEY WELL SPENT! SUBARU FOR LIFE

I recently had my car stolen and totaled. I actually work for the dealership and enjoy the work I do with the company. Mr krohn has been helping me out for the past month and a half with a car. It has been difficult but with the patience and time he has given my mom and I, I could not be more grateful for him! He worked with my mom and I till the very end and has been nothing but helpful. This is our third Outback. Seats could be better. Sit in a VW or Volvo and you'll see how they could be improved. Window buttons should located in a place where a dog can't stem on them. They moved the heated seat buttons. Our dog no longer steps on those.

We replaced our 2015 Outback with a 2025 Outback Limited. Decided to stay with Subaru as we had good reliability in the 125,000 miles on the 2015. Normal maintenance, only 3 minor warranty issues early. The new car is one model trim higher than the previous one. The only real complaint would be the "auto engine shutoff," but that is easily turned off. I prefer the built-in look of the center display versus the tacked-on tablet on top of the dash. We had hoped to wait and see the new 2026 model but from the photos at the NY auto show debut I was not a fan of some of the changes. I should note we also have a 2021 Ascent Limited which we enjoy traveling with.

I bought used in 2023 a 2015 premium with 214k miles. I drove it 6k miles and only replaced the CV axle, this isn't impressive sounding but it was going through constant , aggressive off reading due to the rough road conditions I had to use because I live in the rocky mountains. I got in a rollover a 60 mph and I had no injuries, airbags kept me safe. Fuel economy was dismal with 21 in the city and 24 in the highway, safety and reliability are top tier, power was surprisingly adequate, the Bluetooth was appreciated and all the safety tech and other tech was very useable and helpful and accurate. Love the car would buy it again if I had the chance

Likes: spacious interior despite modest exterior dimensions, easy to maneuver, great visibility all around, comfortable ride, good traction, handling, and braking, nice interior finish on sport model, strong steering responsive headlights yet they don't blind opposing traffic, very good optional Harmon sound system, numerous effective safety features, low insurance premiums, adequate acceleration..a few cons: actual economy slightly under EPA estimates, seat may be a bit too firm for some but easy to address by adding a thin seat cushion, mandatory sunroof on all but the base model..I wish Subaru would just make that a single option..rough engine start-stop ..however I disable it each time I start engine so it can be a non issue...no reliability issues yet but since this has a cvt and fairly complex safety features, long term reliability is unknown..

So I bought a ‘21 Outback premium with 30k miles and have already put 6K more on it. Here is my honest review: if you want a fast car don’t get the 2.5 non turbo- that being said it is adequate for myself and get great gas mileage. The interior is good- I have the spec with cloth heated seats and they are comfortable and the cabin feels nice- has some cheap parts but I knew what I was buying. The infotainment is frustrating at times- auto start stop is a pain in the butt- but the infotainment itself isn’t bad with good sound and good responsiveness. The apple CarPlay will lag and be finicky at times but nothing terrible. As for drive quality it is a smooth ride and I don’t have any real complaints yet. Like I had mentioned if you want a car that is going to be fast- this engine and transmission will not do that for you. Overall I am happy so far with my purchase and feel as though I made a sensible decision when choosing this over some of its competition (I was looking at the VW Tiguan and and Mazda cx5)

I have owned my 2017 Forester since late 2016. Except for normal maintenance I've had no problems with thr vehicle. All of the warning systems work very well,they have saved me from accidents numerous times. The automatic seat repositioning when some one else has used my is really handy eliminates all the adjusting needed to get the position back to my needs. Traction and controll during winter and bad weather are excellent. My forrester get used like a truck at times. Great overall car.

We just leased our new vehicle and we were not sure about the new features. But between Jerry Kyle , our salesman, and Mark in service and ??? we now understand our new vehicle.

Got a '22 Touring XT. I knew the base engine was pathetic so I wanted the turbo. Gladly sacrifice some MPG for way more power. They shouldn't even offer the base engine on this car. Anyway, after 44k miles it's running like a champ. Absolutely no issues with the electronics (a few minor glitches here and there but nothing to take to the dealer for), CVT is fine, engine is fine, the AWD is second to none! Plowed right through a 15" blizzard through Kansas City like it was nothing. My biggest gripe are the squeaks and rattles. Highly annoying. My '17 Chevy Colorado with 64k miles is tighter and quieter. Cargo space is top notch, I have a bad back so getting in and out of a taller vehicle is much easier. But there is just too much tech and driver assistance, Subaru needs to tone it down a little. I still prefer to actually DRIVE my car, not have the car drive me. Overall I'm still happy with it.

Bought this car three years old with less than 50K miles on it. I’ve loved it since we got it. It has been very reliable, fun to drive, with pretty minor drawbacks. For example the maintenance has been very minimal. I haven’t noticed ANY oil burning or leaking (I have personally changed the oil every 3-4K miles). Sometimes on long trips it will burn some oil and need a top off, which the car alerts us to. Overall I’d buy this car over and over as long as it fit my needs at the time. Currently looking into an Ascent for future hockey trips and other trips.

Saved some coin!! Got my truck. Tyson was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Only thing negative , I got the truck with 80 miles on it ,someone named Austin had his I Phone & music loaded in the radio & left candy and some trash under the seat.
