Great value considering the superior safety features, low maintenance and reliability. Rear wheel bearings have been replaced twice and just had the AC compressor and serpentine belt replaced. Albeit expensive repairs, all cars need something after the first 3 years. It's been 8 years and the car still run and drives like new.

I found a listing online, and followed up with the dealership. Their internet assistant, Christy, was very helpful. Sales associate Zach was AWESOME! Mike in F & I was great as well. I am thoroughly pleased with the entire process and how smoothly it went! I highly recommend Zach to assist one in their car purchase - he was honest and went the extra mile to make sure everything was in order. I purchased my Outback Premium in 2022 new. Liked the color. silver, and didn't want moonroof or a lot of extras that could break. Bad battery experience has really disappointed our experience although the cars performance and comfort has not.

I’ve owned this car for about 18 months. It has I bought it new and it now has about 17,000 miles on it. I love driving it. The safety features are excellent! The performance is good. I’m getting around 32 MPG for all around driving. I have the car maintained at the dealership and haven’t had any mechanical issues. I would definitely recommend this car.

I came to Ridge Road many years back looking for a quality used vehicle. Ray, the owner, found me just the vehicle I was looking for. The vehicle needed routine service once in a while, and I went to Ridge Road Imports Service, which is on the same premises. Being a female (accountant), I had been "fleeced" before, and was always wary because I know next to nothing about cars. EXCELLENT service, mechanics talked to me with respect, good explanations, accurate estimates, and timely completions of work. I have purchased every single one of my subsequent vehicles since then from Ridge Road, because they can always find me what I need. At times, I have had some very specific requests, like the vehicle must be a stick and be able to fit four Greyhounds in the back for one example. Recently I totaled my car, that I had purchased from Ridge Road. I was very upset and also heartbroken because I loved the car, and really demand a stick as opposed to an automatic. Elliott and Ray took SUCH good care of me. They found me the SAME model of car, (in a nicer color!), much newer, and it's a stick!!! Everyone at Ridge Road that I have dealt with over the years is both professional and friendly. They are eager to please their customers, and have gone out of their way to find me and friends the cars they want and need. Next to top rating in Consumer Reports. Lives up to its rating 100%. Only concerns thus far, after three weeks of use. 1) takes time to learn use of various electrical and mechanical controls -- after 20+plus years of VW Jetta ownership, "a lot is different." Just have to be patient learning all the new features. 2) Auto-safety features (staying in lanes, braking distance warning, etc.) are helpful to some less-attentive drivers but annoying to this long-experienced user. Fortunately, they can be turned off and stop the chirping.

We went to royal Subaru hoping to find an SUV after going all over and having no luck. We met “Uncle” Bill OGorman there, and he helped us find a Subaru Forester Touring that we fell in love with. It is a lovely light green color. It fits all of my needs, as i am handicapped and have trouble getting in and out of cars. Bill went above and beyond making sure that we were comfortable, and that we knew and tried every feature in the vehicle. We went on an extended trial test ride, and he went over every detail that we asked about, and then some. When in the office, he made sure we were comfortable, offering us snacks and a drink of juice or water. That was very thought of him, as i have trouble sitting for long periods. He did a very through job of explaining all the other details that we needed to know before we got the car. We would highly recommend Bill to anyone who comes there, and had a very pleasant experience at Royal Subaru of Cortland.

Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

They are willing to work with me. Its hard to know what to do though because of inflation now every where!

I had to make a 5 1/2 hour drive recently and loved how smoothly my car drove, especially using cruise control with “eyesight” so it slowed when I was too close to the car in front of me. I couldn’t even feel it; I watched the speedometer. Love the safety features and extras like seat warmers and large sunroof.

My2018Subaru Outback center screen went blank in September last year . It took four months for the parts to come in. But, Tina kept me informed about status of the order. Finally, the parts came last week and the screen was fixed .Pleased with the service. Derrick was very friendly,efficient and helpful.Definitely, will go back for service.

Tyler was very helpful. A little disappointed with the tires that came on the car. Rear ones were BARELY LEGAL! Got an incredible deal on this 2022 Outback. Only had 30,000 miles on it. Beautiful Crimson Red Pearl exterior. I'd buy again from them, but not without getting good tires on the next vehicle before we commit to buy.

I am in my seventies and didn't want to buy new so i I looked at over twenty used vehicles during my search. This Subaru Outback was the best driving vehicle of all that I tried. I was between a rock and a hard place after my Honda passed away-it drove itself to its demise due to the handbrake not on tight enough. So I had nothing to trade, no leverage. I know Subarus owned many Outbacks and they go forever. The problem is I'm 5' tall and this car is too big for me after the Honda and a Miata I have. I had 2 big dogs and felt the car would be great for a dog owner. Which it is. One dog rode on the back seat (covered) the other had the back to herself. Great for a dog owner. If you need a crate there's plenty of room. This would be a great vehicle for a children or pet family. I only have one 10 yr old dog left and this uses too much gas for me to consider a practical vehicle.

I have owned my 2017 Forester since late 2016. Except for normal maintenance I've had no problems with thr vehicle. All of the warning systems work very well,they have saved me from accidents numerous times. The automatic seat repositioning when some one else has used my is really handy eliminates all the adjusting needed to get the position back to my needs. Traction and controll during winter and bad weather are excellent. My forrester get used like a truck at times. Great overall car.

Bought my 2015 Subaru 2.0XT Touring brand spanking new off the Subaru dealership's lot. Have owned it all this time about 9 years straight. Take care of your car with regular oil changes, servicing at recommended intervals, and your car will take care of you. Performed the required recalls during service periods. Not 1 single regret on owning this car, ever. It rides smooth and true. Had a clicking issue in the ball joints 2 years ago which Subaru fixed free of charge. Other than that, this car has been my dream machine.

Got a '22 Touring XT. I knew the base engine was pathetic so I wanted the turbo. Gladly sacrifice some MPG for way more power. They shouldn't even offer the base engine on this car. Anyway, after 44k miles it's running like a champ. Absolutely no issues with the electronics (a few minor glitches here and there but nothing to take to the dealer for), CVT is fine, engine is fine, the AWD is second to none! Plowed right through a 15" blizzard through Kansas City like it was nothing. My biggest gripe are the squeaks and rattles. Highly annoying. My '17 Chevy Colorado with 64k miles is tighter and quieter. Cargo space is top notch, I have a bad back so getting in and out of a taller vehicle is much easier. But there is just too much tech and driver assistance, Subaru needs to tone it down a little. I still prefer to actually DRIVE my car, not have the car drive me. Overall I'm still happy with it.

I have a 2020 Subaru Outback Touring 2.4L turbo model, the fully-loaded, most expensive model. It replaced a 2011 standard Outback with a 2.5L engine and manual transmission. My only criticism is poor gas mileage, about 23-24 mpg versus the 2011's 28.2 average over more than 100K miles. I like the power (260 HP) but might have forgone the turbo had I anticipated the unimpressive mileage. My 2001 Audi Q5, with a 260 HP 2.0L turbo engine, averages 28+ mpg, but cost $10K more than my Subaru. I rationalize by recognizing that $10K will buy a lot of gasoline.

I went from owning a 2003 Monte Carlo SS to a 2017 Subaru Outback. It was worth every penny. My Subaru is not only reliable, functional, and cute; it also saved me from being injured in a bad crash. This past fall a six point buck hit my car head on and I never saw it coming. It was a fatal crash for the deer, but not for me. As heartbroken as I was to see my car crumpled on the front, I was so glad it wasn't me. It was a repairable fix and made me really appreciate my car.

Found the car I wanted on their website at 9am, test drove it at 10am and drove it home that night! From start to finish, the staff as Maguire were professional, knowledgeable and tentative. Starting with the original phone call Thomas Fox. Joe Mooney and Ed Kish were great, Had the vehicle we were interested in sanitized and ready for us to drive. Very professional and personable. The only issue we had is that the vehicle could have been detailed better.

I love my crosstrek limited.I only have 2 complaints but it not really the car its my prefrence. I have always had cars that the doors locked automatically when you left it as long as you had the key.The cross trek doesnt have that and it drives me insane.I am forever forgetting to lock it by the door handle or key fob.My second complaint is it has heated everything except the steering wheel.I like that in the winter but other than that its a great car so far.I have only had it a month so Im not sure how it handles in the snow yet.

I had a very good experience overall. The salesman I worked with was Michael. He found a used truck that fit my criteria. No one at the dealer was pushy and they worked with me on the price a little. Very satisfied.

After two years, all I can say is, well done. The car has been solid. I only have 18K miles, but no complaints. It is a bit narrow, and can be a little "economical" in appearance, but not a single complaint. It is a low end car, but the ride and comfort, overall is very good. Gas mileage is always subjective, but I average 32+ MPG overall, and it is at least as good as the Camry I got out of. It has taken me through places I probably should have not ventured. It didn't complain or give me any drama, hardly missing a beat the whole way,,,, with factory AS touring tires. The AWD seems top notch. People complain about the windshield being fragile, but so far so good. They complain about engine performance too, but I have never felt like I was going to be run over or that the engine was underpowered. If you want a "Fast" car, look elsewhere. It does what it does well.

I bought the 2025 Crosstrek even though the gas mileage wasn't great and I am glad I did. While sticker said to expect 28-31 miles per gallon, I am getting 32-35 on the highway and definitely more than 28 in stop and go traffic. It is also a good car for older drivers like me. I didn't realize I was often outside my lane. The lane departure function has improved my driving. The Crosstrek also has a large screen for maps and apple car play, so I am not looking down to navigate. I highly recommend this car for older drivers who need the safety features and don't drive enough to make a hybrid worth the extra money.

Shout out to Nichole Kohler at Fox Subaru. I stopped in without an appointment to have my tire air pressure checked before traveling to Massachusetts. She had the car checked right away and did not charge me. Courteous and so very helpful. I love my Subaru and appreciate the fine service from Fox Subaru! Liz B

I have had this car for 3 weeks and love it. The interior is so comfortable and the car is very quiet on road noise.
