I have owned my 2017 Forester since late 2016. Except for normal maintenance I've had no problems with thr vehicle. All of the warning systems work very well,they have saved me from accidents numerous times. The automatic seat repositioning when some one else has used my is really handy eliminates all the adjusting needed to get the position back to my needs. Traction and controll during winter and bad weather are excellent. My forrester get used like a truck at times. Great overall car.

I engaged with the folks at North Penn Mazda to purchase a vehicle online. Some life events unfolded which prohibited me purchasing my vehicle. Got a '22 Touring XT. I knew the base engine was pathetic so I wanted the turbo. Gladly sacrifice some MPG for way more power. They shouldn't even offer the base engine on this car. Anyway, after 44k miles it's running like a champ. Absolutely no issues with the electronics (a few minor glitches here and there but nothing to take to the dealer for), CVT is fine, engine is fine, the AWD is second to none! Plowed right through a 15" blizzard through Kansas City like it was nothing. My biggest gripe are the squeaks and rattles. Highly annoying. My '17 Chevy Colorado with 64k miles is tighter and quieter. Cargo space is top notch, I have a bad back so getting in and out of a taller vehicle is much easier. But there is just too much tech and driver assistance, Subaru needs to tone it down a little. I still prefer to actually DRIVE my car, not have the car drive me. Overall I'm still happy with it.

I’ve owned this car for about 18 months. It has I bought it new and it now has about 17,000 miles on it. I love driving it. The safety features are excellent! The performance is good. I’m getting around 32 MPG for all around driving. I have the car maintained at the dealership and haven’t had any mechanical issues. I would definitely recommend this car.

After doing all my homework on our next new Forester contacted several dealers and Haldeman car dealer was sñthe place to go. Came to an agreement on our price ( which was lower than others) on our 2025 dealing with Nick Renci who never push pressure on us. The final price was excellent as was dealing with the car salesmen Nick R. Even after we went in for signing they accepted other coupon discount on vehicle which brought out price even lower. Will recommend Nick Renzi to be a salesmen to contact for a car purchase!

My 2020 Subaru Outback, purchased at Glanzmann (10-20-20) was in the Service dept. for repairs from 4-24-23 to 6-16-23. This car is so comfortable! The driver sits up high, with great sight lines in all directions. The seats are comfortable. The features are very intuitive. My car has automatic door locks so when I walk up to the car with my key fob, put my hand on the door handle the doors unlock. It has automatic headlight dimmer which works great. It has plenty of power for freeway acceleration. All wheel drives makes it great in snow. I’m very happy with this car.

Slower than molasses in January if you don't get the turbo. But a reliable wagon that's absolutely awesome for parents. Plus, you can make up for the lack of speed by just running over stuff thanks to the ground clearance.

Omg I don’t know where to start! I came in knowing that or thought that I was not going to be able to get a car because of my credit. Last November I drove my 2018 Outback Premium (which I loved) to the local dealer to test drive a 2025 Limited XT and get the complimentary $50 Visa card they were promoting at the time, and ended up driving back in the new XT. Following are my impressions after 10 months of ownership. We're big fans of Subaru's safety tech. My wife's car is a 2023 Forester, and the Reverse Automatic Braking has saved her from at least one accident. Her previous car was a 2021 Hyundai Tucson, and its reverse sensors seemed like they never worked. If safety is a priority, you won't find many manufacturers that beat Subaru (same for their all wheel drive system). The newer generation EyeSight system is superior to the 2018's. I would commonly turn off the Pre-Collision Braking on the 2018 (which was easy with the physical switch unlike the virtual switch accessible only through the head unit on the 2025) since I found it to be oversensitive when I was following someone making a right turn. The 2018 would prematurely brake which I feared could lead to being rear ended. My 2025 does not have the same issue, and while it has given me a blinking/beeping warning in the dash display in similar situations, it has not started actually braking like the 2018. For me, I have found I only get warnings from the car when my driving actually warrants it. The extra power of the 2.4L turbo (XT) was a big selling point, although I feel it's not mated to the CVT as well as the non-turbo 2.5L. There is noticeable throttle lag with the XT which you have to get used to, but man, it really moves after that momentary lag. I never found my 2018 non-turbo to be underpowered, but I definitely love the extra punch of the turbo. One of my biggest hesitancies with the 2025 was all the touchscreen buttons/menus of the head unit, but the joy of driving the car has softened my annoyance. Since I don't feel the need to shut off any safety features, I never have to look for them in the head unit menus. When I start the car, I only turn off the auto start/stop with the dedicated button at the bottom of the screen and wait the usual 20-30 seconds for the head unit to fully boot up giving the turbo/engine time to get lubricated before I put her into drive. I'm a big fan of wireless Android Auto and have found it to be very stable (and much better than the wireless dongles I tried with the 2018). I use the automatic climate control 99% of the time, so I don't miss the physical buttons and knobs in the dash (all I need are temperature up/down which ARE physical buttons). It's a great cruising vehicle with a great ride, and I look forward to packing the family inside for extended road trips. I'm happy we have the last year of the "wagon" generation of Outbacks and plan to keep it for many enjoyable miles.

I came into the dealership for a specific car I saw online. It was a used 2023 Kia Sorento EX very low mileage, very clean, and drove nicely. I was torn because it had a recall, and the part was not available and uncertain of any future problems. The staff and salesperson Maria was awesome, with no pressure, and provided options on used vs. new Subaru vehicles.

LOVE this car, maybe a little biased since this is my 5th Forester, my 2nd Wilderness. My first Wilderness was totaled in a head-on collision when a young driver spilled coffee and veered into my lane and struck me head-on. That was my 1st Subaru Forester Wilderness and IT SAVED MY LIFE. Full curtain all-around airbag deployment with a roll, the Wilderness coming to rest on it's right side, me still strapped into seatbelt, and the Subaru automatic crash notification with a live person on the speakers asking me if I was ok and needed 911! Smoke still coming from the airbag deployments, and there is a live person coming over the speakers asking me if I'm ok. It was surreal. SUBARU FORESTER WILDERNESS SAVED MY LIFE! TYVM Subaru! LOVE this car! Gets 25+ MPG with conservative driving, a great ride and suspension, superior traction in mud and snow, load-out practically anything/rack bikes (or whatever on the roof racks), sleep in the back with ample room, superior rear-gate lift mechanism with memory, seats super-comfortable and easily adjustable, solid rear-seat leg-room, easy rear-seat fold-downs for massive cargo area that takes my full HVAC tool load-out for servicing ice baths all over the NorthEast US. A great value, especially CPO with +10K mileage (vs. new) MONEY WELL SPENT! SUBARU FOR LIFE

I have had a 21, 23 and now a 25 Subaru Forester Premium and over the years they have gotten better. I didn’t think I would like the large screen but now after two weeks of driving it, I’m loving it. It is a safe and reliable vehicle for small families and seniors like me.

Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

I bought a 2025 HRV Ex-L from Justin Cartwright I chose him from all the reviews I read prior to entering this dealership. He was just as the ratings reported. Kind, knowledgeable, easy going, not at all pushy. Buy a car from Davis Dealership and request Justin. You won’t be disappointed!

This is our third Outback. Seats could be better. Sit in a VW or Volvo and you'll see how they could be improved. Window buttons should located in a place where a dog can't stem on them. They moved the heated seat buttons. Our dog no longer steps on those.

This dealership exceeded my expectations. I made an appointment and they brought the car inside so it didn't have any snow to clean off. The salesman even threw in a new battery without being asked simply because he noticed the car didn't start too well.

I think for the most part, I like my car. I have had a couple issues, one of them is probably not the cars fault, (but seeing other people have the same issue, it makes me wonder) I now have 50k miles on it and in that time I have only had to replace the battery and tires, to be expected on a 6 year old car. (and windshield) The windshield is the questionable item. It seemed to crack out of nowhere and I thought I must have gotten a small rock chip while driving down the highway and just didn't see it until it started to crack. So I replaced it at a cost of almost $1000. However, I am on an Outback form and it seems to be a common complaint with outback owners of this year, having the windshield crack out of nowhere. Could it be the frame design? Maybe, but it does seem suspicious that others have had the same issue. One other problem I have had is if I let my car sit unused for like 5 days, the battery goes completely dead. There seems to be a parasitic drain somewhere on the car. It doesn't happen if I drive it every day, but if it sits for about 5 days unused, the battery goes completely dead. I have read it has something to do with the DCS system in the car, but you have to pay the dealer a diagnostic fee to verify. I drive it enough I have not gotten it checked, but next time I am at the dealer I am going to ask them about it.

Everything went smoothly. I received a letter offering to purchase my used CR-V that I purchased at Honda. They gave me close to the max on the letter. Anthony (Nieves-salesperson) was knowledgeable and not pushy and did not rush me. Management was easy to work with as well as Finance.

Likes: spacious interior despite modest exterior dimensions, easy to maneuver, great visibility all around, comfortable ride, good traction, handling, and braking, nice interior finish on sport model, strong steering responsive headlights yet they don't blind opposing traffic, very good optional Harmon sound system, numerous effective safety features, low insurance premiums, adequate acceleration..a few cons: actual economy slightly under EPA estimates, seat may be a bit too firm for some but easy to address by adding a thin seat cushion, mandatory sunroof on all but the base model..I wish Subaru would just make that a single option..rough engine start-stop ..however I disable it each time I start engine so it can be a non issue...no reliability issues yet but since this has a cvt and fairly complex safety features, long term reliability is unknown..

I can’t say enough good things about buying a vehicle from this dealership. The sales people were all tied up, so I dealt directly with Leo and Frank who are managers. They were wonderful about everything and knew the history of the pre-owned vechile that I purchased. They have this supreme coffee machine which was confusing to work but the best coffee I ever had. And the little time that I had to wait, their facilities were so nice and clean that it made it enjoyable. Thank you again and I love my Q5!

My biggest problem with the forester is the infotainment system and the tom tom navigation. The infotainment is laggy at best. It can take two seconds per press to respond. And the tom tom? What? Did tom tom give Subaru a deal on 80s technologies. Recently I asked for a dollar tree and it changed it to 03. I have asked for vorhees and it kept trying to change it to Glendale? xxx. It is not barely usable, it is absolutely unuseable, that part of this car is a xxx.

The entire staff who helped in the process including Bob, Alex and David were extremely professional and easy to work with. They all handled their areas of expertise flawlessly and made the process of buying with them very smooth and comfortable.

I fell in love with the Wilderness Trim from the very first time i saw it. I had a 2017 Outback Limited and loved it too. Had a co-worker who really needed a reliable, well taken care of SUV. I told her I will sell it to her. With the money i got Wilderness. Best decision ever. Has that little extra ground clearance and details that makes this car so unique. Yes the screen is large and has a lot on it, but after a while got used to it. If the Outback was my dream car, This Wilderness is beyond my dreams! The Turbo is great, gives that extra +80HP compared to my Outback and it's noticeable specially when using paddle shifters. Hope i can keep this one for many many years.

I am in my seventies and didn't want to buy new so i I looked at over twenty used vehicles during my search. This Subaru Outback was the best driving vehicle of all that I tried. My experience at Boucher Ford in Janesville was fantastic. I was treated like a true customer with respect and caring for my needs.

Mr. Fontaine was able to get me into the car I wanted, after having to adjust his schedule for me. I never felt rushed or forced into anything. Second car I’ve purchased from Auto Lenders and it won’t be my last!

I purchased this as a commuter car, but ended up taking it on long trips with the family. Currently has 65k miles. Interior is comfortable, the leather seats are easy to maintain. The infotainment system is great and easy to navigate. The only issue I had with it was the power lift gate. It was under warranty, so no big deal - but it would’ve been expensive had it not been. This is a great car for a family with small kids. The only reason I’m got rid of it is because my kids are growing and we needed something bigger. Routinely hit 23 not on highway. It’s got some pep, but you’re not buying it for sports car experience. AWD does very well off road and in snow. The exterior plastics are somewhat cheap and occasionally need to be set back in place. Otherwise, no mechanical issues and drives like the day I brought it. I’d recommend highly.

I purchased the 2023 Wilderness trim in August and I chose it because I live in a very snowy and mountainous area. I certainly needed an upgrade from my trusty 2wd, low-clearance hatchback. I can watch the season change with more peace of mind with its high clearance, AWD and features like Starlink and X-mode ready to step in when called upon. I’m a huge fan of the vehicle’s exterior styling and the interior feels luxurious and durable. The cabin is well-insulated from engine and road noise. One drawback is that the sound system lacks depth even with the base turned all the way up (I don’t have the Harmon Kardon stereo option). I’ve never owned a car with a sunroof before and I love letting in extra daylight and looking up at the cliffs and trees during stops so I can’t imagine life without it, now. Even the low beam headlights provide clear-as-day visibility on the darkest nights, but I’d be worried about blinding other drivers so I’d give more follow distance. Many reviewers seem dissatisfied with its acceleration, but it hasn’t felt underpowered to me and I drive a Chevy Suburban for work. It feels like I’m barely touching the accelerator to cruise up steep grades, but I’m a leisurely driver so my expectations differ. :)

Other than battery replacement , car has been amazing ! 1 exception cup holders are located too far aft and require driver to look down to locate cup without removing eyes from road ! This issue has been partially addressed in later years by offsetting passengers holder slightly forward of drivers, but still awkward position ! both should be more forward nearer to dash !
