After spending time with the 2024 QX80 Sensory, I’m comfortable giving it a five‑star rating—not because it’s perfect, but because of how well it delivers on the things that actually matter in this segment, especially at the cheaper real‑world transaction prices these typically sell for. The build quality stands out immediately. Material quality, fit, and finish are all genuinely impressive, and even after 30,000 miles the cabin remains tight with very few creaks or rattles. That’s something I can’t say about several other luxury brands I’ve owned, including BMW, Mercedes, and Cadillac, which tend to develop interior noises far earlier. On the road, the QX80 excels at what it’s built for. The ride is extremely comfortable, highway noise is well controlled, and the 400‑hp V8 provides smooth, effortless power. It’s a relaxed, confident cruiser that makes long family trips easy. The interior is spacious, the leather is high‑quality, and both the interior and exterior design have a clean, upscale look. Fuel economy is average for a large V8 SUV—nothing surprising there. The real drawbacks come from the dated technology. The infotainment system feels behind the times, and features like a head‑up display or massaging seats simply aren’t available. The front seats could also use more side bolstering for better support. Even with those shortcomings, the overall package is strong. When you factor in the typical selling price—often well below MSRP—the value becomes even clearer. You’re getting a large, comfortable, powerful, and well‑built luxury SUV that prioritizes reliability and long‑term durability over chasing trends. It’s not perfect, but nothing in this class is. What the QX80 does, it does exceptionally well, and that’s why it earns a full five stars from me.

I owe Tapp Motors (Jr and Sr) a wholehearted apology for what I wrote last night. Seems like we all had challenging days yesterday and our lines of communications were BROKEN. You know, I’ve always given advice about email like this: Write what you want, but NEVER, EVER send an emotional email... I broke my own rule. Also, if you have a problem and misunderstanding then pick up the phone, walk over and have a friendly conversation to clear the air. So, that’s what I did earlier today after not sleeping much last night. I called both gents and explained my feelings and why I abruptly left the lot yesterday. They were very gracious and we all apologized for poor communication. I felt better, they felt better and everyone is smiling and laughing... Life is GOOD! After such a misunderstanding and we’re able to “shake hands” and part friends says A LOT about the Character of the Tapp Family. It’s not often a rather bad communication can be settled and without hard feelings. It’s ALL about the more often and not practiced “Golden Rule”.... Sadly we’re often too busy to stop and smell the roses and more importantly LISTEN. God gave us two ears to one mouth. Gentlemen and The Family of Tapp Motors.... I could not be more happy with this vehicle. It is amazingly quiet and comfortable, but still fun to drive. It has tons of space and the interior is impeccable. The technology is top-notch and intuitive. This one is the turbo I6 and is faster than it feels (so smooth and quiet), but lacks the “hold your breath” acceleration of the V8.

Own a 2014. Best bang for your buck for a 8 seater. I'm at 200k miles with just the usual oil changes and tires when needed. Only 1 downside to these cars are the markups from dealerships.

This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

We drove two states over to McKenzie Buick GMC in Milton, FL to meet with Nick and make a purchase on our new Yukon Denali. Customer service was top notch. We were going for their 2019 Yukon Denali to replace a 2008 Tahoe LTZ. We are very pleased with the vehicle. The upgrades are wonderful. Love the cooling seats, the wifi, the HUD and even days after our purchase they have reached out to check on how we were and mailed us a small gift that meant so much. Purchased a used luxury vehicle about 4 years ago. I was not looking for this Cadillac SRX but it was in mint condition, and the price was below similar less premium vehicles I found elsewhere. I've had NO issues with this vehicle. Regular maintenance amounted to oil changes only. I have taken it in for service just to have overall checkups more than once. ALWAYS, EACH TIME I was told everything is just fine. This vehicle seems to be flawless. It was the deal of a lifetime for me. I never considered purchasing a Cadillac before because I didn't realize that they could be so affordable. I am not thinking of anything less now, and I know when the time comes, I'll go right back to see what Tapp Motors has to offer on their lot. I hope this car dealership never disappears. I have nothing negative to report.

Not trying to get off the subject but I own a 2004 Chevy Tahoe and would have to say its one of the best trucks I ever own....

2017 Ford Explorer. I love my car. It runs great but I have had battery problem and trim has blown off my car on freeway. Have not had a lot of problems with it.

Simply AMAZING! My wife and I live in IN and though our work hours clashed with their business, Adam and Lee were EXTREMELY accommodating in staying later to help us purchase an older model truck. Though, the truck is 3 years older than the car we traded, it has NO problems, drives great, and looks INCREDIBLE!!! Thanks so much to these guys!! They WILL take care of you!!

We bought our expedition in 2022 used with 23k miles. Got the cam phasers replaced right away under warranty. Other than that the only thing needing work was the front axle seal. Replaced under warranty as well. Overall an excellent vehicle. We occasionally get a weird or harsh shift but that happens maybe once a month and doesn’t cause any drivability issues. Lastly, I had to unplug the hands free power liftgate sensor as it had a tendency to close on you while you were loading groceries. Not a big deal to do without imo. The versatility of the interior is top notch if you have multiple kids in car seats. The cargo area is huge on the max. The base stereo could be better but it’s not bad. Comfy on long roadtrips. We have the max tow package and tow our 6500lb boat all summer and it handles it with ease. We average about 16 mpg but we don’t drive it gently. We checked out the suburban before we bought this and I wasn’t a fan of the seat versatility or lack there-of and the very high rear cargo floor.

Telluride functions as a large SUV while feeling like a more nimble vehicle. Storage space is generous and interior is well thought out. Smooth, quiet ride with adequate acceleration.

I've had mine for 4 years 2016 SLT ,traded my wife's Hyundai Santa Fe for a caddy srx which I drive as well as a 2018 GMC 1500. The Acadia has been super reliable .knock on wood.. just basic maintenance

He was the first person out of the many car lots I've gone to over the last 3 years to genuinely listen, be personable, and not just try to push me into an expensive car that didn't have any of my non-negotiables. The other 3 gentlemen I spoke with were also very helpful and up front. 10/10 I would recommend going to Vantacar and will do so again myself!

10 years since we bought this vehicle used. It has been awesome, over 110K on the clock; minor problems only. Biggest problems are with brake corrosion caused by very salty roads here. undercarriage corrosion is starting to take its toll. But the vehicle is still good enough we are hesitating to upgrade. Some minor, weird but occasional , electric glitches, mostly self locking. But then, the lack of electronics relative to newer models is a big plus to us. We have now owned this vehicle longer than any other we have ever had. interior issues are with the glove box hinge (plastic and breaks if you are not careful), and elbow rests cracking.

I currently own mine for eight years. I brought it in 2015 with 60k miles. I now have 185K. I just had to replace parts that wear out like struts, batteries, belts, fluid. I did not have any issues with motor or transmission. I did replace two motor mounts. SUV is easy to fix and cheap. Does not require a software update like newer suvs. It does have cheap plastic. The dash will crack and the plasic outside the windows. Your door may fill with water but just pull the plugs out. I drive my suv 30 miles a day to work and back. It always start ups and goes. Maintain it and it will take care of you. I does well in the snow too. I lived in Colorado for 10 yrs and took it to many trips in the mountains. Its a true SUV with a V8. Not some I4 turbo crossover bla.

I purchased to replace a 2017 Tahoe that I loved. Love this vehicle even more. Magnetic ride control, additional safety features the Tahoe did not have are great. Heated steering wheel a great feature. Heated AND cooled seats, will never be without again. Additional power of the Denali 6.2L vs. the 5.3L engine in the Tahoe is impressive. Bose sound system is outstanding.

This car is the most comfortable! Lots of room, lots of options, a dream to drive. Needed a bigger car that was good in the snow.
