Frank was awesome. He was recommended to us and exceeded our expectations... Ken in Finance was also great. The 1st time we did not spend all day at a dealership to purchase a vehicle.

Patriot Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of McAlesterReviews
Patriot Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of McAlester review
Just want to say thank you to Shannon, Michael Glasgow, in the Service Dept. Salesman Cowboy Everett, Adrian, Doug Menees in Finance and the management staff at Patriot Dodge of McAlester. We purchased a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 truck from them during their Grand Opening celebration 2/16/18. We had several problems with it the day we test drove it. Cowboy came to our rescue and they had the truck towed back to the dealership. He stayed with us to make sure we were okay and the truck was safely back at the dealership. The service department was very professional and took care of all the problems that developed with the truck. We were not charged for any of the repairs. We are so grateful for all the staff that worked on the truck. We purchased the truck for our grandson for his 16th birthday. He now has his standard transmission that and is so happy. Thank you Patriots for making our grandson so happy to have a safe and reliable truck that he will enjoy for many years. May God Bless each of you that helped make his dream come true. We will be recommending Patriots to all our family and friends because of your honesty, intergrity and professionalism. Jeffrey & Billie Jean Davis, McAlester, Okla.

2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer review
I purchased my Trailblazer new in 2008 and I'm still loving it! It consistently gets me where I'm going in any type of weather. I haven't had any major problems and keep up with regular maintenance. To be fair I drive a company car during the week so at 14 years old it has only 58,000 miles on it. I will keep it until it won't go anymore.

Gary was super honest and kind. We bought a Volvo from him for my son. He charged up the AC and put some gas in it before he met at the Title transfer in the car we bought making it much easier to get it home. I would recommend Gary for sure if you are looking for an affordable car.
2001 Mazda Tribute review
A surprise in reliability. Bought a new 2001 Tribute DX 6cyl w/ 4x4. Haven't bought another car yet, 20 years later. Agree with others that little things or expected things happen after 20 years. Fuel pump, driver's side window motor needed replacing, interior door panel's cloth came unglued, fog lights don't currently work, windshield replaced when cracked from New Mexico rocks and drivers, engine seems to be heating oil leaks...but I do religious oil changes and fluids and the car keeps running. I've driven it cross country 12 times, New Mexico to Florida. Beautiful and never a break down. This car is a big part of me and my mobility, but sadly I have to look for a new car next couple months. I want another Mazda or Toyota, I'll never go back to owning a car for 50,000 miles and then selling. What an experience this has been!

excellent car. I got it in 2009 with 13000 miles. When I traded it in it had ( for real) 354000 miles ( yes that is correct) It was still running like a top and it was all original except for two sensors and a master cylinder. You could not beat this care for a better value.

2012 Jeep Patriot review
I've had my Patriot for about 3 yrs now. I purchased with 82K on it and am up to 98K. The CVT took a bit to get used to as far as being not very quick when accelerating. I'm used to it now and it keeps me from having a lead foot...lol. Otherwise I've had no major problems and it serves it's purpose and is good in the snow.

2015 Nissan Rogue Select review
I purchased this car as a second car and to use with my RV. This is a 2014 Rogue Select. After a lot of looking, I found a 2014 Rogue Select with 14,600 miles. This was confirmed in the Carfax report. After going thru the car completely, I have found 2 things that need repaired. I have driven Nissans with CVT transmissions of over 20 years. If you keep up with all the maintenance then you shouldn't have any more troubles than with any other car. It has the Nissan 2.5L 4 cyl engine. This engine has been around for a long time. This is a very basic car. I will be upgrading the Headlight to LED (GTR Ultra 2), Installing a mirror dashcam system and a tow hitch. I wont be installing Fog Lights. The audio system is marginal and will be upgraded in the future. I haven't decided about the aftermarket warranty as the factory warranty expired a long time ago. So far this car is a good ULTRA LOW mileage used car. It is reasonably comfortable rides well and has an acceptable level of performance. I think it is a good car for the intended usage.

2014 Kia Sorento review
2014 SXL, FWD. really nice vehicle.. great performance.. lots of high level luxury in the car.. including heated and cooled seats!! the touchscreen is easy to maneuver and the physical buttons make it very convenient and does not require that you take your eye's off the road. seats are very comfortable. I have two complaints. the chrome wheels.. almost impossible to prevent rust underneath.. would have preferred aluminum wheels instead. And the third row is useless and should never have been offered. Purchased vehicle used in 2016 with less than 3k miles on it. (really) Pleasure to drive, not to firm, not mushy.. great stereo.. I love this car!!!

2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser review
I got my 2009 PT cruiser this past May for $300. It was Is wrecked , left front headlight and finder and wiped out the lower control arm. Except for that this PT cruiser was in excellent condition I mean everything in it works and no interior damage what so ever She just needed a little T L C , which I gave her I replaced the lower control arm headlight and finder cleaned it inside and out Did a l o f and tuned it up , and with 92,000 thousand miles on the2.4L this PT cruiser runs excellent At this point , buying it and fixing it I am right at a Thousand dollars invested I have had two officers, one for 3,500 the other for 4,200 Which I turned down I can't get anything this nice that runs so excellent for the money I drove a rental PT cruiser many years ago, and it ran good I love my PT cruiser and plan on buying some fixer uppers to save for myself Every car made has some kind of issues , one time or another If you get a chance , check a PT cruiser out

2001 Ford Escape review

Yes he has best up cars but they are cars that anyone can afford and he also has very nice cars so it just depends on what your price range is. I have bought 1k cars and 5k cars from him and he has also bought cars from me like my 86 Buick grand national and 90 vett and mustangs and bmws. He will buy and or trade ya. Go talk to Russ and tell him Jim and Gigi sent ya.

THIS CAR SAVED MY BRAIN! Was recently T-Boned and a car with lesser safety design would have left me brain injured. The 2010 CVT is the best model year made due to beefier components. Mine rarely used oil, though some will. Almost always broke EPA mileage estimates in highway. Surprisingly capable off road. Superb in snow/rain. Saved Brain and nothing else matters!!!

2004 Ford Explorer review
My Explorer was left to me in my friends will I knew the truck for a few years before inheriting it and except for 1 thing have had NO problems with it other than normal maintenance and I LOVE this truck and have no intention of getting rid of it unless I ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO... and then I would still be hesitant about it ! It's always started and drove excellent especially in snow !!! My truck has 90600 miles it was given to me at 75000 miles ... only negative is that before I got it my friend needed to replace the transmission due to losing reverse (literally out of nowhere) WE were both stunned about it .... I wish I could check the transmission fluid by a dipstick too !

2009 Ford Escape review
Bought a 2009 6 cylinder Ford Escape LTD. Bought it used with about 68,000 miles in 2013. Loved the look and handling. Extremely reliable vehicle. Did regular maintenance, oil changes, tuneups, tire rotations, replaced tires twice, high speed wheel balances done with alignment, etc. Recently had an oil pan gasket replaced. Never any major repairs, except replaced the water pump x2. Once in 2018 at 150,000 miles again in 2024 at 208,348 miles. It always ran great. It was a southern car until 4 years ago. So, did not have a rust issue. Unfortunately, a Buck came out of nowhere last week after dark and totalled my beautiful Escape. I wasn't hurt. But, the frame was damaged and it was not worth repairing with 213,000 miles on it. I am sure it would have made it to 300,000. Trying to find another. But, live in the North now and rust is a major issue. Heartbroken! I wish Ford would go back to making this style of Escape and with the 2009 reliability. I am hoping to find a 2008 thru 2012. But, need the AWD version. The FWD wasn't great traction in the rare snow we had down South. But, still managed to get me home when a freak snowstorm hit...and everyone was following my car, lol.

2007 Chevrolet HHR review
I bought the plain, zero frills LS new, in '07. 128K miles and counting. I haul my drums all over metro Denver and it fits all my gear, perfectly. It averages 24-28 mpg, per tank. I've lost track of how many times people have mistaken it for a PT Cruiser. It's no pocket rocket but then, I don't need to drive that fast.
