traded my 2021 for a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport limited edition last month. I'm very happy with it. Mitsubishi has made some improvements. bigger screen, leather steering wheel and shifter. I like that I have heated seats and telescoping steering wheel now! and it's 4 wheel drive. helps when I go fishing. 😂 great gas mileage! just needs a little more power under the hood. but for the price and reliability it's very worth it. plus an amazing warranty!

We were looking for a 2021 Honda Accord Touring and were able to find three for sale at Ocean Honda. Unfortunately, by the time we scheduled a trip to Santa Cruz only one car was left. We had received Emails from both Robert Estrada and Michael Livanos from Internet sales and we went down to visit their dealership. Years ago when they were in Capitola I received excellent service on an older Honda Accord which they fixed stating it was still under warranty. I was quite surprised that my Wife and I weren’t stormed by Sales People when we pulled up. We were able to walk around the lot without anyone coming out and starting a sales pitch. When we went in and asked to speak to Mr. Livanos who advised us that that last Touring car was sold, but he spent a couple of hours with us in looking at cars. Prior to leaving we had obtained a value on our trade in and had ordered a car. All the Staff were very helpful in assisting us during our visit. Plenty of parking and the Dealership was well laid out and clean.

I have owned my HR-V for about a month. Did have to tint my windows was no big deal. I think it had great power has alot on get up and go. Just the right size for me. Still learning what all the buttons do. Overall I am very pleased. First Honda owned.

I purchased my KIA Niro PHEV in 3/'23. When people ask about how I like it, I tell them that I think KIA gathered designers, engineers and sales people together to create a vehicle just perfect for me. As most of my trips are under 40 miles(round trip), 90+% of my driving has been by battery power. I charge mostly at home and have seen no significant increases in my power bills. I add a couple gallons of gas every few months, averaging well over 225 mpg. There's plenty of room for 4 adults (5 would be cozy) and with the back seats folded it provides ample space for large items. I've driven it just about 25K miles and look forward to many more. It's fun to drive, pleasingly quick and adequately fast. I've had no service issues and hope that continues. Oh yes, It's Fire Orange so I can find it in parking lots and the color has drawn positive comments. As I'm approaching 90 and still shopping for a "sports car", this one will most likely turn out to be an appropriate compromise(and potentially extend my life!!). If you decide to purchase one, I hope you enjoy it as much as I have mine.

Bought to replace a Cruze that was a real road warrior . 2025 Trax 3 cyl does 70 mph plus on trips with 3 adults in comfort . LS model had no rear hatch cover . Bought one off FB Marketplace for $10. Dealer wanted $235. Used the rubber floor mats from the old Cruze and snapped right into place on the Trax for the winter weather . Doing more frequent oil changes because of wet belt setup . Originally wanted a Buick Envista but felt the $21200 Trax was basically the same car for thousands less .

Love the car....I have 2 concerns. First, the driver's seat is not comfortable (this is my wife's car) ....the other seats are fine. This is weird. We have the all wheeled drive version. It loves gasoline !!! My Toyota Corolla gets 38-40 mpg with a smaller but peppier engine. This HR-V Gets between 25-28.....not sure why. HOWEVER. This car drives like a dream... VERY SMOOTH. Love the car !!!

New 2 weeks ago today. This car is not intended for family vacation. I use it as a daily driver a 100 miles round trip. I got the mid-grade trim package heated seats moon roof. it has a small gas tank 13.9 gallon. I question the MPGs as advertised but its ok at 27 mpg all highway. It will fit 4 people but i believe Ford didnt intend for it to be a vacation car but a general purpose of getting back and forth to work car.So far so good only time will tell.

2020 X1 w/sport seats and convenience package, purchased in 2023. Positive notes: It's a true BMW: sure-footed, agile, and no shortage of power when needed. It feels remarkably glued to the road despite its small size. Handles as well as my former 3 series and is just as fun to drive. Storage space is good. Ergonomics are good once you figure out all the technology. Negatives: Ride is a bit bumpy, even for a sporty car, which is apparently caused by the run-flat tires. If I was buying new, I'd get standard tires and a real spare, which fits in the storage space in the back. Sensatec seats are hot. In retrospect, I'd hold out for leather. Overall, I recommend this car if you're looking for something small, practical, full-featured and sporty.

My wife and I bought a 23' Jeep Compass Limited with 15K miles. We were looking for something small but also a vehicle that could offer 4x4. My initial impression of it at the dealership was that it has an awesome exterior paint color (granite crystal) and black wheels to compliment it. The car drives great on the highway and city. It's a very comfortable ride and the car can turn on a dime! I am currently averaging 30 mpg while commuting to work each day. I have noticed the car will sometimes have difficulty up shifting. As long as I apply more gas it eventually gets over it. Not a big deal for me as my last vehicle would do the same thing. The rear view camera is nice on the Compass, however it is completely useless at night. Overall we are very happy with our purchase.

I've owned this car for a little over 10 months now, and I thoroughly enjoy it. Some of the things that could use some improvement would be road noise, speakers in the back are almost inaudible, placement of the infotainment screen is kind of odd, and maybe less plastic in the interior. As far as the engine goes and transmission, transmission runs smooth and the engine could use a little more get up and go. Of course I only have the 2.0L. The ride is pretty smooth and I don't feel too many bumps like I did in my Soul.

Overall service is good but they takes some time to verify my truecar discount code.

Very comfortable drive and ride, has all the top shelf features for comfort, technology, safety . Sturdy buttons, interior materials are high class. Can take 89/91 grade gasoline. City drive is 25mpg, highway is upto 32mpg. oil change intervals is 10000mile . Seats in the back recline by adjustment, making it comfortable in long drives. Recently had a 14hour highway drive- was feeling refreshed even at the end of the day. The highway drive at night was not fatiguing to the eyes, likely because the glass quality must be really good compared to other brands. Wish they had a hybrid version to get better mpg or even better, a plug in hybrid version would be welcome for the future. The trunk space is small and can fit only one international size suitcase.

It was very easy to purchase a new Nissan Altima. A very pleasant experience.

So slow it’s almost unsafe! Front seats are not comfortable. Blind spot in side mirrors. Everything else is good. Base engine needs 40 more horses. Sport trim should have a turbo engine.

I was looking for a 2016 e-golf with fast charger. Not a lot of dealers had any left. I found one 2 hours away at another dealership. They started the negotiations high and wouldn't budge much. We didn't make the deal. Then I e-mail Santa Cruz VW and told them to send me there best offer. I picked the Jeep Renegade in the Trailhawk model because it is the only car in the compact category that also has excellent off roading capabilities. It completely beats out the other "off road" vehicles in its class like the Crosstrek or trailblazer. It also works excellent as a daily driver and great on long highway drives, having way better gas mileage than a pickup or wrangler. No road noise like you get in a wrangler or a truck with big off road tires. I've had this car for a little over a year at this point, with about 7000 miles, and the only thing I can say was any kind of issue was I got warning lights on my dash for the lane sensors, but they were just dirty and a quick wash fixed that problem. I can't say much for reliability just because the car is still so new. I have the leather trim upgrade that you can get with the trailhawk, but even with that the quality of the interior is lacking compared to other vehicle brands at the same price range and category, like the Crosstrek, but looking at Jeep's other vehicles like the Gladiator or Wrangler, it fits right in. Everything does feel high quality. I'm very picky about road noises and rattling panels or vibrations while driving, and I haven't had anything at all yet with this vehicle even when driving on rough roads or hitting bumps. The only reason why I gave this car a lower interior rating is just because of the excessive use of plastic. The exterior is very unique. At first I absolutely hated the blocky look of the renegade, but with all the iconic Jeep stying mixed in and the upgraded look of the trailhawk front bumper, I have grown to really love the way this little SUV looks. The blocky shape gives it extremely good headroom and gives it extra cargo space in the rear. The trailhawk model has armor on the underside to prevent damage by anything you're climbing over when going off road. There are some gaps in the armor that you can fill with available aftermarket parts. I will say that I think the cardboard box aerodynamics are the main reason why the gas mileage is so poor even with such a small engine. With about 55/45 split between in-town and highway driving respectively, on roads with large elevation changes, I do still get 24 mpg combined which is decent. The road handling is also great, the Renegade is a very light car, and even with being a little top heavy it zooms around corners almost like a small sports car. The 1.3l engine is surprisingly torque-y, it took me a little while to get used to being gentle on the throttle, the first few gears are very deep and the tiny turboed engine makes 210 foot pounds of torque so it will launch very quickly until it gets to 3rd/4th gear. The absolute worst and best thing about this car is it's transmission and the way it's programmed. In regular driving, it seems like the transmission has to stop and think about what gear to go to, so swapping gears is a little slow and not as smooth as other cars. At the same time, the transmission is the main reason why this car does extremely, unexpectedly well off road and in poor driving conditions. It will always keep power to wheels that have traction, and so gives impressive control. I have driven this up a mountain trail in the middle of a Montana winter and it felt like a leisurely drive, even purposely drove into tall snow drifts to give myself a challenge and plowed over them without any issue. When I got to the peak in my stock renegade trailhawk the only other vehicle on the peak was a modified, lifted Tacoma with large off road tires that had chains wrapped around them. I'm extremely impressed with how well this compact SUV really does off road. Overall I'm extremely happy with my renegade, and hope to have it for the next decade as a light trail/off road adventure car and daily driver.

I've been meaning to write a review of a purchase from last December but life took over! I purchased a 2015 Lexus with 24K miles. I had been looking for a low mileage Lexus as my vehicle was on its way out. Soon as I saw the ad on a Saturday morning, I sent an inquiry online and received a call back from Firas within 15 minutes. The vehicle was not quite ready to test drive as a part was needed but I was kept up to date from Firas as to the status. I was able to put down a $1k deposit and be approved for financing on line. I have a 10-year old with lots of energy so was nice to be able to complete documents at home. I'm an hour away from Monterey, so when the vehicle was ready, my sis drove us to the dealership, test drove and completed paper work in about two hours. I was then off and away with my super low mileage Lexus RX 350. Easy and quick process! Highly recommend Audi Monterey. My hubby and daughter love the vehicle...I just need to watch my speeding. My kiddo enjoyed the hot chocolate as well. :) Hope this helps anyone looking for a used vehicle. I'm sure they have a great process for new purchases as well!

I bought the 22 model in Apr of 22 and had it about a year and the ac compressor went out. It took them a couple of months to get one and when they did they found that it had metal shavings all in the lines so they had to replace everything in the circuit. They gave us a loaner car for two weeks and so far it’s been working fine. Have had a couple of software updates so far but no other issues. Have just turned 10,000 miles. The transmission is jerky so I basically drive it around in sport mode to keep it from dropping into the highway gear. Overall we like it

Working on 2 years now with my new Buick, looking at this vehicle from the outside you really feel like you’re looking at an expensive car, the inside of the car is nicely done for the price point. First model year for the Envista. You have to expect some issues., I had my car in twice to have the radio reprogrammed or updated whichever you wanna call it. I’ve had the sunroof motor replaced as that has worn out. I haven’t had any other issues with the vehicle, the ride is great. It’s fairly quiet, it gets great gas mileage and it totally suits my need as far as space , comfort, and appearance. There are just a couple of things that I would change about this vehicle if I could. First, I would upgrade the sound system to something better, the sound system is pretty good but I bought the Avenir and one would think that model should’ve had a premium sound system. Express up windows could’ve been added, not just expressed down. The car could’ve used some additional sound deadening material. Buick are known for being quiet vehicles, I think the additional sound deadening and also maybe an 18 inch wheel in the satin nickel finish would’ve been nice. I have the 19 inch wheels and I think the 18 inch would’ve given it a better ride but it’s still pretty decent. The car is quiet however it is not that Buick quiet that I’ve had before in other Buicks. Would I buy this car again, probably not but not because there’s anything wrong with it, just because I would probably want to change. I’m at retirement age so I did buy this vehicle knowing I’m going to keep it probably as my last vehicle. Is it a nice vehicle absolutely, is it worth the money? Absolutely, should you buy one of these that’s entirely up to you after a test driving it, but I don’t think you would be disappointed as long as you understand what you’re paying for. You are not spending 40 to 50,000 on a vehicle buying this car and you’re getting something that looks definitely like it could be worth 40,000.

On 1/27/25 took my 2015 Wrangler in for a check engine light and the code I provided was for a faulty thermostat. My Service Advisor Michael gave me a price quote of just under $800 to replace the thermostat and housing which is after a $220 diagnostic charge. I was told that the part was on back order and would be a month or more before they could get it, "Sorry thats all we can do, we'll call you when it comes in," was their only reply. I took my Jeep to Firestone in Watsonville, they ordered the part from Santa Cruz Dodge and had it installed the next day. Watsonville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram also at the time quoted $270.42 plus labor for a power steering flush that they said "failed." I called the Santa Cruz Dodge dealership and they quoted me $150. I purchased my vehicle from the Watsonville dealership and this is not the first instance of very poor customer service and price gouging in the service department. I have spoken to the service manager before who was responsive at the time but at this point I felt others should be forewarned.

ISSUE WITH SUNROOF CLOSING, NEW ONE PUT IN SAME PROBLEM. IN COLD WEATHER SEVERAL DOORS WOULD NOT LOCK AT ALL. AT FIRST I THOUGHT THEY WERE FROZEN THE DEALERSHIP IS STILL NOT SURE WHY THIS HAPPENED. I WAS UNABLE TO DRIVE IT WHEN THIS OCCURRED. JUST HAD THE IGNITION REPLACED - CAR WOULD NOT SHUT OFF. I REALLY LOVED THIS CAR THE SUNROOF IS HUGE, MY FIRST NEW CAR, IT IS A LITTLE SMALL IN THE BACK SEAT FOR PASSENGERS BUT NICE, I LOVE HAVING A HATCH AND NO TRUNK TO MOVE THINGS IF I WANT. I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED A JEEP AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE AND OPEN FEEL OF THIS CAR. IT DOES VERY WELL ON THE HIGHWAY. THE REAL ISSUE I AM HAVING IS WITH CASTLE JEEP/ RAM IN NAPERVILLE,ILLINOIS COVRING THESE ISSUES WITH MY 100,000 MI WARRANTY.

2016 Q3 Quattro Prestige. Bought used at 38,000 miles. No I have 51,000 miles. I'll make this succinct. 1. Great Comfort 2. Quattro is AMAZING in the snow! I've tested it! 3. Handling is solid and fantastic (in the Prestige trim as the OEM tires are 19" and wider for much better performance). Cannot speak to the other trims 3. Mediocre engine power as stock. I have the APR stage 1 upgrade that basically increases HP by a solid 50% and it is VERY noticeable!. 4. Sound system - Fabulous! 5. Navigation is mediocre and the screen is a bit small and the placement is awkward to me. But it does work. 6. reliability - This is a big one. So far so good. I am keeping an eye on the engine (checking the oil at least once per week). There are several class action lawsuits out there for this engine (one on the timing chain and one on the pistons / rings). Keep an eye on those.
