I bought a 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara Luxury in December of that year. Since, I've driven it almost every day with no problems at all. Its a shame that Suzuki pulled out of the US market because they really did offer a quality low-cost alternative to the other Japanese car makers. If I was in the market for a used car for a college student or child, I would definitely consider a Suzuki Grand Vitara. Great car for the money and good car overall.

Yeah, it’s a bit of a meme it being so old, having a grueling time to 60 mph, and having gold rims. It’s about the character though, the amount of “car” you get out of it is unbeatable, it’s such a slow car but flooring it and hearing the tiny v6 roar like a v8 never gets old. This truly is a luxury car it’s many features and quirks make it such a love able car, your happy to see it, it’s happy to see you.

296,749 miles and still going. Only thing I have had an issue with is low beam head light.. But that’s just been in the last year . Have replaced it twice . But I will not complain ! It’s a great vehicle and I love it .

My '99 Chevy Tracker (Suzuki Vitara with a Chevy nameplate) was just totalled in a multi-car wreck in Denver. My replacement car will ONLY be a Vitara or Tracker! This little SUV is SO fun to drive. Yes, it rides rougher than a car, and that is because it is built on a truck frame unlike other SUVs which are just cars with a different body. In West Virginia where the sport of "muddin'" is popular, nothing, absolutley nothing beats Trackers or Vitara's off road. And in snow - well, put a set of studded snow tires on this sweetie and it will take you anywhere!!!

I traded in a 2006 Kia Sorento for my 2010 Grand Vitara and I'm sure glad I did. The handling far exceeds the Sorento and is much more reliable it even has a bigger engine while getting about the same gas mileage. I have also owned 4 runners in the past and am generally a truck gal.

I did a Long term test on the Suzuki XL7 it did good not bad for a SUV it .3.6 v6 did good we put 151 532 miles on it andthe Suzuki XL7 did really good in the winter and it did good the summer andi say it did better then the Chevrolet Equinox that did Long term test drive

It's a good car but definitely the catalitic converter is a huge problem...if the engine light is on you need to find an other engine computer to replace it which is very difficult to find and after that the car consumes a lot of fuel which is crazy...finally it is a car level Medium...

I purchased a '11 DTS from them and they were very great to work with. Let me take the car for a drive by myself so there was no pressure and I could look it over as much as I wanted. Very easy to negotiate with and I got it at the price I wanted. Even stuck around late to finish the deal even though they had a family function to get to. I always trusted the Suzuki brand and this time is not the exception. I just purchased a brand new Grand Vitara manual transmission for my commuting needs. It's very unfortunate that Suzuki will no longer make this model in the future. I'll miss it!. If you're the kind of adventurous person and want to feel the fun part of driving go for a real SUV manual transmission Grand Vitara. My car is very reliable and takes you everywhere. Driving this car is a breeze!, very smooth, fast and you're the one in control of it (not the auto transmission). This car does whatever you tell it to do without hesitation, and specially now that this base model came with an incredible navigation system included. Commonly you don't see this feature included in a base price SUV. If someone out there knows it, please share.With this manual transmission you are the boss who control the performance rather than waiting for the car to perform at the pace of an auto transmission.

I think this is an excellent little SUV that is sporty and handles well in the city and they countsy. I live in Madison Wi and this car has been awesome. Does great in the snow and I used it for a while as a delivery driver and I gotta say, I'd drive this over my Audi 90 Quattro that I hade. It has great handling and you could easily have fun with a tank of gas and putting on some miles. Sports car like handling with SUV capabilities, this is the best mix in a car out of the 28 vehicles I have had, and by far the most reliable and dependable.

I saw a black Nissan armada in car gurus, for sale at cars 147, i did check the pictures and got contact with this dealer, Amanda was on the phone and provided all info i request as i am in madison wi, well far from cars 147 and with no time to go there and see the car, so i ask for aditional video, which very soon i got, i did check carfax report, and all mi quiestions were anser in a totally transparent way, Amanda and Mia did act in a very proffesional way and very kind and efficient in anything, they ask me to send my mechanic for inspection but for me was not necesarilly, so we entered in a quick negotiations and did find and agreement, cars 147 was to deliver the car to my house, i pay the car in a very convenient way and the car reach me the next day in perfect condition and exaclty as decribed, now very happy and 100 satisficed with the car a bougth from them with not even going and see. a very good experience wit a very profesional team.

This Suzuku is great for a single person, couple or very small family. The car runs extremely well with regular maintenance and gets great gas mileage. It's easy to maneuver and affordable to take care of. The interior is great for an individual or a couple. Otherwise, adding multiple adults in the back or a carseat makes the car a tight squeeze for anyone.

We just bought a used car from Mike Maroone and were very happy with the process. Then I called to make an oil change appt. for my other car-a 2008 Honda Odyssey, and I got an appt. the next day. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. They put on my wiper blades that I had just bought in parts for free. Also fixed the direction of my windshield washer squirter. Did a check of the van and pointed out other things that needed attention.

Tons of options 170000 miles only oil changes, air filter and tires. Cabin filter is a nice touch. Side defrosting mirrors. Great winter vehicle, 4-wheel drive.

I purchased my 2011 Grand Vitara 2.5 years ago. with the exception of it smelling like weed when I bought it from a college student and had to do a thorough cleansing of the interior, it has been a great car. The mileage is around 30 mpg with the 2.4 litre 4 banger but it has surprising power. I wish the tranny had another gear between first and second though. I have pulled a 5'x12' utility trailer with it and am impressed. There is room in the back with the rear seats folded forward to transport cargo. It runs smooth and comfortably.

I was surprised when I bought the suzuki sx4 you do not feel like it working hard to stay with hyway speed it goes like it has a bigger motor i think it is a great car I wish they still bought it in to the USA cause they are so great I like it so much and I will miss it cause they do not have dealers anymore in the US.

I bought the car new in 2008. It now has 256,000 miles. Suzuki makes incredible vehicles had a Samurai over 250000 miles and Sidekick over 200000 miles and now the SX4 with 256000 miles, I have never spent any money on repairs. Had car for 8 years now, I put on 75k Minor problems here and there, but fod the price I paid (7500) no way I can complain. Cat converter, brakes, 02 sensor, idler pulley, belt, tie rod, lower control arm(wheel fell off at 5 mph) are issues I had. I change oil every 3k, and rotate tires. Love love the car. Its been a blessing, second suzuki I owned. Thank you suzuki.

Bought my 2004 Suzuki XL-7 in 2014 with 91000 kms on it, now it has 169000 kms. Used it most for driving to work a 30 Km trip one way. Truck has been great, all I have done to it is replace shock absorbers on the back, the rest has been regular maintenance. I am looking to replace it but am very leary of buying another vehicle as they all seem to have big dollar problems. For a 16 year old vehicle my Zuk outshines all the trucks I have been looking at, I wish they still made them.
