The moment I got the demo car onto the highway, I thought to myself, “I LOVE this car!” Which rarely happens. I test drove both the Model 3 and Model Y in snowy conditions, and had not a single bout of fear that I may lose control. A few weeks ago, when we were getting a winter blizzard, I was driving my Mother home from Boulder. It was snowing about 2” -3” per hour, people were spinning out all over the place. Honestly, we weren't expecting the honest and friendly service we received at Elder Mitsubishi. Everyone was so friendly and helped us pick the perfect vehicle for my family's needs.

Only minor problems with only one maintance/repair/upgrade visit just recently (2020) at a Tesla SC, 1.5 days in the shop. All other minor problems handled by an excellent mobile Tesla tech that comes to your house (a special service for those not near a SC). No drivetrain problems whatsoever. 1/3 the maintenance cost of an ICE vehicle, no gas cost. Gas net savings about $5,0000 over 5 years. This is an SUV with moderate dirt road capability and 9" ground clearance.

Long range AWD FSD ( great on long trips) I got white seats and am so glad. Really brightens the interior and they have been easy to care for. Battery lost range faster than my older Model 3 but it’s still around 295 after ~70k mi. Great in the snow but a bit more ground clearance would help. Cracked windshield was repaired by Tesla and cost about $1000 less than Safelight. No other issues except for CEO

I been dealing with this company for a while now. I always deal with one of the Service staff " Curtis", he is very Professional , Great Customer Service, always Polite and make you feel Welcome. I never left unhappy with the work he does on my car. He is a great guy and if you're reading this and owns a Mitsubishi vehicle when you need it serviced ask for " Curtis". Amazing car that will literally drive you anywhere from point A to B all by itself. Very comfortable and relaxing and fast acceleration as well!

The Tesla driver interface is unique, but becomes second nature and pretty good in just a few drives. Interior is very comfortable, quiet, and spacious, but a bit sparse for the price point. Performance is great but the inability of virtually all EVs to meet their EPA range estimates without going downhill with a tailwind is disappointing. Charging at home is great. The Tesla charging network works very well as does the Tesla app on your smartphone. We have seen none of the build quality issues others have previously noted. Tesla customer support for us has been good and responsive as we’ve worked through questions and bought accessories. Overall, with weight and aero being determinants of EV range, the Model Y is a very well designed vehicle. Aero drove the exterior design and weight the interior. The resulting looks are either something you like, or not, but for their purpose, they work. Right sized and shaped outside, very spacious inside. Recent price cuts made the value decision one we could live with. Compared it with every other EV of its size and very happy with our choice.

The is the FUTURE of automobile transportation! Absolutely FABULOUS car! No more gasoline, no more scheduled maintenance. If you hit the accelerator hard, you'd better have your head against the headrest or you may be injured. Zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds for my 2022 Model Y Performance. Fast charging Tesla Superchargers are always available across the country making long, cross country road trips a pleasure. At home I can charge 300 miles of range over night for $8 of electricity. Yes $8! Super Chargers cost more, but the speed and convenience is well worth the costs on road trips and it's still a fraction of the price of gasoline. I honestly look forward to getting into this car and driving it. I've owned a Mustang, BMW M3 and 5 Series, a Porche, Jaguar, Mercedes SL550, and many more cars. None were as fun to drive as the Tesla Model Y Performance. This is the future of automobile transportation and getting better every day.
