The moment I got the demo car onto the highway, I thought to myself, “I LOVE this car!” Which rarely happens. I test drove both the Model 3 and Model Y in snowy conditions, and had not a single bout of fear that I may lose control. A few weeks ago, when we were getting a winter blizzard, I was driving my Mother home from Boulder. It was snowing about 2” -3” per hour, people were spinning out all over the place. We had this car for 6 years. 91k miles including many road trips from Tahoe to Southern California. We loved it. It’s a workhorse that requires no maintenance and never breaks. There are three amazing qualities where it really shines over internal combustion competitors. 1) operating costs are so low. $7 to “fill up”, no oil changes, never need new brake pads (regen braking) and no maintenance. Just tires, alignments and windshield fluid. 2) autopilot makes freeway driving so much easier. You can relax like you’re a passenger. Yes it’s not perfect so you need to pay attention but it’s cruise control x2 3) safety. Look at crash test ratings. We’re a family of four and 100 people die in a crash every day. #1 cause of death until you’re old There are a few annoying things. Charging on road trips can be annoying. You have to stop every 150-200 miles for 15-20 minutes. It goes through tires faster. Tires will be your biggest cost. For a set that’s warrantied for 40k, you’ll get 30k

The is the FUTURE of automobile transportation! Absolutely FABULOUS car! No more gasoline, no more scheduled maintenance. If you hit the accelerator hard, you'd better have your head against the headrest or you may be injured. Zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds for my 2022 Model Y Performance. Fast charging Tesla Superchargers are always available across the country making long, cross country road trips a pleasure. At home I can charge 300 miles of range over night for $8 of electricity. Yes $8! Super Chargers cost more, but the speed and convenience is well worth the costs on road trips and it's still a fraction of the price of gasoline. I honestly look forward to getting into this car and driving it. I've owned a Mustang, BMW M3 and 5 Series, a Porche, Jaguar, Mercedes SL550, and many more cars. None were as fun to drive as the Tesla Model Y Performance. This is the future of automobile transportation and getting better every day.

Only minor problems with only one maintance/repair/upgrade visit just recently (2020) at a Tesla SC, 1.5 days in the shop. All other minor problems handled by an excellent mobile Tesla tech that comes to your house (a special service for those not near a SC). No drivetrain problems whatsoever. 1/3 the maintenance cost of an ICE vehicle, no gas cost. Gas net savings about $5,0000 over 5 years. This is an SUV with moderate dirt road capability and 9" ground clearance.

After much copious research I bought a 2019 Malibu LT from Diamond Jim’s, my first experience with the dealership. Joe and Perry were knowledgeable, fair, and easy to work with—no high pressure tactics. No need to haggle and browbeat the staff, either, for a deal. The price of the car was previewed on Carfax, given “a good price” rating for its overall specs, and proved so upon inspection with no hidden after-market products to jack up the published price. Too bad there was no Diamond Jim’s when I bought my first used car way back in the 20th Century from a different dealership that filled the transmission case with sawdust to make it run smooth for a month.

Long range AWD FSD ( great on long trips) I got white seats and am so glad. Really brightens the interior and they have been easy to care for. Battery lost range faster than my older Model 3 but it’s still around 295 after ~70k mi. Great in the snow but a bit more ground clearance would help. Cracked windshield was repaired by Tesla and cost about $1000 less than Safelight. No other issues except for CEO

Most comfortable and most exciting car I have ever owned. The falcon-wing doors are amazingly practical! In tight spaces where the conventional front doors can barely open, the FW doors lift up and out, making exit much more comfortable; plus, on rainy days, they act like awnings - wonderful for attending to children in the rear seats.

I sold my Lexus RX for this car. I've owned everything from Land Rovers to Mercedes to Lexus. This car is my favorite to date. The driving experience is superlative - it's quiet, the assisted and full self driving is very safe. The sound system is the best I've heard in a car. It's a great car.

I purchased a beautiful Ford Excursion from Driven Auto of Waukegan last month, and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. Oscar was my salesman, and he was excellent. He kindly sent every photo and video I requested and was incredibly thorough, patient, and prompt in responding to all of my questions and concerns. At no point did he pressure me to make a quick purchase, which I truly appreciated. He is a wonderful asset to the team. Amazing car. Was able to easily fit 300 square foot of laminate wood flooring inside with the seats folded flat. I'm going to glamp in this thing. I'm going to commute in Los Angeles, take my sister's dogs around - you name it. This thing is going to get a little dirty, hah. I'm happy it has a tow hitch as an option and roof rails available. The frunk and back trunk having storage (under the flat lift boot cover in the back) are just great for shopping and carrying around smaller items. I like that the 2023s still have the stalks because my wife and I tried the 24' Model 3 without, and we don't prefer that experience just yet. This is the best, most efficient, utilitarian, and sharp looking vehicle on the market. My only feedback is the paint could be better. I think they have the fit issues with the body panels down, and the sound dampening is a ton better in the 23's with the extra carpet that they add in the back and on the sides of the vehicle. I think to address the management of the company, Tesla is a big company. The recent Supercharger team layoffs were disappointing to hear in terms of how it was handled. However, I am excited by the prospect that the U.S.A. will have the North American Charging Standard, (NACS), as the single charging standard for Electric Vehicles going forward. NACS is much more elegant than J1772 and DCFC handles, as is the typical Supercharger location and experience. Do yourself a favor and buy into the vertically integrated EV experience with Tesla and don't worry about the public charging infrastructure that others have to deal with. That'll just be your backup option if the lines are too long at the Superchargers, or if you want a better charging rate in some rare contexts. What do I think about the CEO? I don't think about him really too much... the car speaks for itself.

I just leased 2026 Model Y after drive a free Model Y for a few hours. This car is revolutionary compare with other cars, Chevy, BMW, Mercedes, Toyota, etc. To name a few, no key fob, no Start button, no gear stick, no knobs, no push buttons, no switches, FSD(full self driving), etc. I need to write a novel for this car. I love every aspects of this car., the ride, the drive, the controls, the entertainment, the audio, the huge display, the service, the online uniform price, vast super charging stations. etc. Go to a Tesla dealership and drive off a free test drive car to experience the differences. We made our decisions within hours after driving the car.

With the help of Jarvis, I recently bought a new car, and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. The vehicle drives smoothly, feels incredibly comfortable, and has all the modern features I was looking for. I’m really happy with my purchase and excited to spend more time on the road. He was very helpful and made the process smooth and stress-free.

I've had this car for around a year now and its a great vehicle. The performance is stellar and it handles very well due to the low center of gravity. The main issue is that due to the larger wheels and lower suspension, the car rides very rough and worse than any other crossover/suv I have driven. I do not suggest it for longer trips as overtime the rough ride and bumps can become annoying. I also wish there were some tactile buttons for volume but the overall layout with the center screen works fine and gives the interior a clean look. I highly suggest getting the white interior as it makes a huge difference and is sort of a tesla hallmark. My other complaint would be the lack of apple carplay, Tesla's system is pretty easy to use but given that I am an Apple Music user it would be nice to have carplay integration. I also live in a colder climate so you would need a set of winter tires because the factory tires are summer performance rated. This seems like a harsh review but I mainly focused on the negatives since the pros of driving an EV really speak for themselves. Quality is hit or miss on these cars and I highly suggest checking for panel mis alignment and trim fitment, mine came perfect but I know other Ys do not.
