A few weeks ago I purchased a used car at McGrath Acura in Libertyville and wanted to share my experience. When I arrived I was greeted by Ethan Sevilla. Ethan was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and understood just what I was looking for. From beginning to end Ethan explained every detail and answered all my questions. I traded in my 2016 RAV4 Limited for the Highlander XLE. Primarily for the ride. We had to give up some features such as seat positioning and closeness sensors available on the Rav4. The 2019 Highlander has a V6 that is well reported on and gives us the performance we need. Our ride has definitely improved on the Highlander.

Overall very good and reliable vehicle for the money. Not the most comfortable, stylish, or best on fuel but for the price i dont think you can find better

Although the exact color we desired was not available, George diligently demonstrated alternative options while his manager searched for the desired vehicle. Their joint efforts culminated in a remarkable outcome. After careful consideration and negotiation, we ultimately selected the available alternative. The conversation with George, the manager, and George, our sales representative, was highly enjoyable. Both individuals demonstrated expertise and provided comprehensive answers to our inquiries. Large doors and front seats. Easy to get in and out. You have to pull past the protective bollard at the gas pump as to not ding the edge of the door. A lot of safety bells and whistles for an older car. Can tow with the best and high enough to take fishing and hunting. Good power. Feels safe in winter driving with in reason. If it gets icy or the snow gets over 5” I stay home. Operational noise is not annoying even when pulling into traffic or down shifting going up a steep hill. It gets almost 21 miles per gallon. I have no intention of spending thousands more on a vehicle to get better gas mileage. It’s paid off. I’m retired and put about 8000 miles a year on it. It still runs like new. I would love to keep it as long as I can. It also can haul pretty much everything I need.

I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. I highly recommend both the highlander and Alton Toyota dealership!

Guys did a great job! Easy communication, friendly and available during my timeframe. Even gave the car a nice wash and tank of gas before we drove away. Good pricing too.

2015 highlander limited. Its very smooth , the seat/mirror memory buttons are great , the auto high beams are awesome. Its easy to maintain, all the fluids and breaks etc are very easy to service right in the driveway. It has the 6 speed transmission that is known to be very reliable (unlike the 8spd trans that toyota came out with in 2017)

Super friendly and super helpful! Bob Pearson assisted me in buying my very first car. He found a vehicle in my price range that also satisfied all of the needs I required from a car. All of my questions were answered and the process was incredibly easy. I feel wonderful leaving in the car Bob found for me. I have had this car since 2013. I have a feeling it is going to last me a long time. The only thing I don't like about it is the spare being underneath the car where I cannot get to it to check the air or put air in it. I would rather have the spare inside somewhere.

I was looking for a 2022 Navigator and Driven Auto had the only one in a 300 mile radius for a competitive price. The pictures of the vehicle were excellent, so I requested more info and their salesman Basil got back with me. He was extremely helpful and even checked to see if I could reserve the vehicle since I was out of state and it was Saturday and couldn't get into the dealership until Monday. I scheduled a trip to the dealership and let Basil know. When I got to the dealership, the car was washed and ready for me. The detailing was top notch. Basil was helpful and not pushy at all. He answered any and all questions and worked with my bank to get the purchase finalized. When the paperwork was signed, they didn't try to sell me a bunch of extra things. I really appreciated that. Overall it was very pleasant experience and everything went smoothly. The price was very competitive across 3 states, and Basil was very helpful and pleasant to interact with. I saw several reviews complain that Driven Auto didn't hold a car and sold it before they got there, so yes it really is first come first serve, but to me that is completely understandable and was communicated very clearly to me. 5 out of 5 would buy there again.

Have had our 2023 Highlander XLE AWD since April 2023. Live in Chicago area and have driven to Arizona and Maine. Zero problems with the car. We put a large Thule box on the roof, multiple mountain bikes on a bike carrier and a kayak. Lots of luggage, got 27 miles per gallon on both trips. Plenty of power in the Rocky Mountains. Would recommend the car to others. We have a great Toyota dealership but all we have needed is schedule maintenance.

They called promptly and gave me information about the car but unfortunately this car wasn't eligible for a tax credit.

We switched from 4Runner to Highlander! Many years of Toyota loyalty in our family. Camrys to Tacoma’s we have had them all. I stole my wife’s 4Runner away from her and replaced it with a 2021 Highlander XSE. It’s been awesome. Bought it brand new. We just hit 65k. We drive from northern Idaho to Scottsdale Az all year and at anytime. Yes, anytime. AWD Snowmobile. It’s awesome in the snow! 22-28 MPG on the Hwy. For those worried about driving a wagon looking vessel around that does not have the great looks of the 4Runner? Don’t worry about it. The XSE has a great looking front end. The XSE Model handles great and boogies. Yes, it’s quick and drives like a sports car. Well, it handles well not quite a sports car. Don’t get the regular Highlander. XSE looks different, has the JBL stereo and drives great. AWD with a Snow Mode. Oh, and it had a third row for little ones. Reliability - been amazing. Zero issues.

Purchased a new Avalon from them today. Wesley Radford was my sales rep and the entire process was an extremely pleasant experience. Wesley was patient with me and did not give any hard sell tactics. There was a slight glitch due to my misreading some info and Wesley rectified everything to my great satisfaction. Everyone else in the process was polite and helpful. Lombard Toyota is the place to go and Wesley is the guy to ask for.

Bought the '12 used with 30k miles on it 9 years ago. It now has 187k and is running great. Regular oil changes and typical maintenance, brakes, tires, etc. The AC did go last year and was fixed. Car is plenty cargo spacious and has been used to move many items, furniture, building materials etc. The only thing I'd like better from it is brighter headlights. If a HIghlander has been maintained I'd not hesitate to pick up a higher mileage used one and expect many more miles.

I have 212k miles and it still drives great and looks good. Only needed all the regular maintenance. Size is perfect. Love the back up camera and Bluetooth.

Best reliable car around Toyota Highlander 2019. Great all road trips. Spaces and plenty of room for everyone. Bars inside seat for car seats to connect to keep baby safe. I have bought 3 Highlanders and loved everyone.

Communicated with John Leno from the Schaumburg facility online. John understood my needs and responded quickly with Jeeps to review - after a bit of humming and hawing on my part, I changed my mind to trucks. I found a truck at another facility, John had it tranferred and within 2 days my soon to be truck arrived - and it is a beauty. John was training Matt and they both demonstrated immense knowledge throughout the interaction and I appreciated the ease of communication (not pushy). I cannot comment on the financing portion of the transaction, but closing went just as smoothly with Hubert and his supervisor. WHile impressed with my transaction I was also impressed with the amount of time that was placed on the training of new employees, or employees transferring. While yes my truck need a repair on the fog lights, it is covered under their warranty, I am highly impressed with my experience. From walking in the front door, to having John take my picture of me and my truck with a giant yellow ribbon... every individual at Carmax truly made the buying and trading experience a wonderful experience. Team Schaumburg, keep up the great work, each of you understand the true meaning of Customer Service, and that is important to some customers like me who still cherish old school values.

We bought this car new in March 2015. It currently has over 205,000 miles, and I am selling it to buy a Grand Highlander next week. I still drive it back and forth from Iowa to Florida 3 times a year, and never worry about it making it. It handles great in any snow Iowa gave me, and last trip to Florida I averaged over 25 mpg traveling about 75. I have done all my scheduled maintenance at Cedar Rapids Toyota, changing the oil every 10,000 miles, and 1 tune up with spark plugs at 120k. Total repairs, (not maintenance), was under $450. 1 rubber seal for sunroof, 4 tire pressure monitors, and 4 sets of lug nuts, as they were rusting on. Truly the best and most reliable car I have ever owned. One reason I am trading up to a Grand Highlander is to get all the new safety features. My oldest daughter is buying this, because they know it surely has another 100k + of life left in it.

Zero problems in 8 years ownership. Very comfortable. Still looks brand new. My next car will definitely be another Highlander, perhaps a 2025 Highlander Hybrid.

Sold a 2018 Honda Civic 2 dr coupe on Friday, 11/14. Alex was absolutely great. They purchased the automobile for exactly what they had quoted. We will never sell or purchase with any other dealership! They were fair and honest which is not true of many other dealerships. Would recommend whether buying or selling. Do not waste your time with anyone else.

I’ve had no problems with my Highlander since I had it. I just keep up the maintenance and it drives as smooth as it did when I first got it. The other thing I like about it is the roomy comfort it gives and that it’s heavy enough to handle the road. It huges the road in curves so good. I am truly satisfied with my Highlander.
