I have a 2013 Prius. It has 129k on it. This is by far the most reliable & efficient vehicle. I had only had to change the oil & that is it. It regularly gets approximately 55/60 MPG. I absolutely love this vehicle & would not hesitate to get another Prius.

I drive for Uber, and this is the perfect car for ride-share drivers. I did previously drove an Acura MDX which was more comfortable and luxurious, but at 21 mpg it just didn't make since. The dealer was surprised and asked if I was trading it for the Prius, I assured him I knew what I was doing. Turns out it is the smartest car I have ever owned and for me was a very smart purchase. Do not give it a 2nd thought if you are on the fence. I can get Luggage into the back that surprises people with the amount of space, way more that a sedan with a regular trunk, and the ride is surprisingly comfortable. I am averaging 54 mpg which is just phenomenal. As a bonus the maintenance and tires are way cheaper to maintain and replace too. These are built in Japan and it shows quality wise.

The Prius is the last cat you will have to buy. The reason being is that this vehicle is extremely reliable. It gets over 50 MPG & it doesn’t have any issues or problems whatsoever. I was skeptical upon purchasing this vehicle, being 6 ft. 1 & 235 lbs, but it actually is quite comfortable inside. Overall this is a rock solid vehicle, it will not disappoint you in any way. Highly recommended!

A few years back I had a Suburban and hated coming upon hybrids. When the time came for a new car I first was thinking Corolla since it was my first new car decades ago. Then I figured why not a Prius? I have the XLE model that has most anything you could want in a new car. I usually only go 5mph over speed limits but I'm always passing all the cars when going uphill. I get looks from other drivers I pass wondering why I'm passing them in a Prius. Great handling too and so far I've taken it up to 114mph. I could've kept going but there was traffic ahead so it'll wait for another stretch of road. If I ever buy a Ferrari, I'll get a license plate frame that says, "My other car is a Prius"!

This is a great car. Had it for almost two years now. One of the previous reviews said it was too small for a 6.1 guy, but I am 6.2 and it is very comfortable, but if you are significantly overweight it maybe a tight fit. This car is still made in Japan and it's so much better than the junk put out by GM that's for sure. It's kind of goofy to blame the federal government for making you buy the car. Thank goodness for a federal government that is trying to clean the air and help the working man is all I can say.

Adam Lopez is very professional at what he does. Always inform’s me what the car is do for on maintenance, also looks up what special offers they have . Very nice to work with.

The one weak point is that there is a design defect. The exhaust manifold leading to cylinders tends to get clogged up. Must be cleaned every 60 k miles (200 dollar job) to avoid head gasket replacement. Otherwise should run forever. 250 k miles and doesn't use drop of oil. 2014 is known to be vintage year, with all kinks worked out of generation 3 - except for aforementioned. Besides being ultra reliable, the car is simply the best use of space and readily available fuel possible. Enormous cargo space with back seats down. Up, passengers have room almost equivalent to full-size sedan. Simply best car ever made. Just look out for traction battery expense. But even that can be mitigated using rebuilt batteries and independent shops.

They take of me and my car, always, gee, they even treated me to lunch while I waited the 2 hours to do my car.

This is the most amazing vehicle I’ve ever owned! I love everything about it. The new style is sporty looking and has class. It’s fun to drive and the gas mileage is awesome! The more I drive it the more I love it.

I went to buy a car and came 2 different time and was not able to connect with a sales person. Met Roosevelt Townsend omg this young assistance in making the process smooth was awesome. I am happy to have went back to carmax and got the best deal and excellent customer service.

We love the prius after owning a 2007 model. The 2015 is a step up and we got it at a good price for low mileage to hold us until plug-in mile range improves.

Great car. Second Prius. Touring model very comfortable on both short and long trips. Surprisingly roomy interior. The safety electronics/sensor are terrific. Reliable, and gets 54 mpg ave from day one! Would definately buy another.

Recently I had to get a newer car and believe me I was stressed because of the situation but when I went to CarMax which this is my second car from them it was once again amazing to work with them! I had the pleasure of working with 2 amazing sales associates. Helen Mayo who was my main sales associate and Cheyeene Toliver who helped out my wife and myself when Helen was off! They both were very kind and helpful and made the process an ease! I was thinking of other options but since they were amazing I went with them instead if your looking for a car I highly recommend you ask for either of these two women they are a great help!

I owned BMWs. Totally unreliable German ingenuity, honestly overpriced garbage. This car is amazing and reliability is amazing. Just a well made car. I totally recommend this car to anyone. The Japanese know what they're doing. I will drive this car until the wheels come off. And they probably won't. Thank you Japan.

The sales person Desmond was awesome. I came to car lux specifically for one particular car that I saw online. That particular car was not available. However, Desmond worked extremely hard to get me in not just any car, but the right car to suit my needs. He worked tirelessly with the finance department to insure that got the car that I ended up purchasing. So not only did he pay attention to my wants, he also paid close attention to my needs. For that I'm extremely grateful. The finance team was also excellent in meeting the terms that I was qualified for. Overall, 5 for reliability and value. 1) Surprisingly lots of room for packing my ceramics pottery, throwing wheel, lumber (just have to leave the hatch open and tie things down). Back seat goes down 60/40 split bench gives some options, too. 2) Good gas mileage. 3) I like the display/dashboard and different view options. 4) I did track my mileage, but it's so consistent with the low mileage that I stopped tracking miles/gallon. 5) POWER mode is good for acceleration. Used it for very steep hills and occasionally for merging on freeways. 6) Tire pressure warning light works well, since I had a slow leak that need attention once every couple of weeks. 7) Center armrest has deep, narrow storage and includes a USB port (use it for my music) and another cigarette lighter charger port. Could do better (4): 1) VISIBILITY: the driver side, looking left has a blind spot that is a problem when looking for pedestrians and oncoming vehicles on the left; when looking right there is less of a problem. The cause is section of the car that supports the roof to the body. The steep slope of the metal covers up a lot, as opposed to if the metal were to come down perpendicular to the ground that support piece would be shorter and it would take care of the visibility issue. 2) Cabin space: a) the dashboard seems of take up a lot of space, b) as well as the center, two-tier design that includes the shifter, 2 cup holders, and the storage compartment above; below is a flat, storage area w/ a port for a cigarette lighter type charger. Should've lowered the shifter and cup holders. 3) Water pump - I replaced it, but it should be noted in the service manual for technicians to somehow check that routinely since failure is a major problem. If you're aware of this problem, then be on the alert and let your service tech know about it. 4) Disc brakes - I moved to a place close to the ocean. Needed to resurface the disc and replace the pads because of rust. Someone told me that the Prius is better in urban, city areas. Makes sense. So I shoot down my brakes with water and drive it around every few days. 5) Low front spoiler, so need to be careful curbing and uneven terrain. Overall, I like my Prius 3. Had it for 7 years and like it. Would recommend it more for urban areas especially. Rural areas need to cautious of the terrain and need to be aware of corrosion issues if near the ocean, since the salt will affect the disc brakes (and obviously anything metal).

This car has a small car feel but is relatively quiet. The seats are comfortable but could use more lumbar support. It has good acceleration for a hybrid.

So i went in already knowing what i wanted. Had my appointment already made and he was there waiting for me no issues. It was kind of strange to me how he didn’t know where the vehicles were so we had to go look for it. We walked for a bit then got into another vehicle to search for the vehicle. I think the lot and vehicle locations should be better situated. The buying process was easy and smooth. When the car was purchased i was waiting for a final cleaning and check of the car. This took forever. When i finally got the car. The inside of the windows were still dirty you can see the finger prints and the rear emblem had some chemical in it that oxidized the emblem. It took them a long time to seem like nothing had been done properly. I did appreciate the person helloing me to keep checking on me and letting me know the status instead of leaving me. The clean process and check process of the car needs to be better managed. It shouldn’t take that long for a half xxx job.

Good basic transportation. The seats are ok but less comfortable than other cars I own. Roomy, reliable, with excellent fuel economy. The ride comfort is just average at best. Handling is better than I expected but not sporty. The controls are not intuitive at all and it is SLOW but sufficient if you stay out of people's way.

Service personal are helpful, professional and go out of there way to solve issues with your car! I have been going there since I bought my car there and obviously will continue to do so! I recommend highly!

7 years old and I've never had a single mechanical issue. Just maintain it per factory specs. Great gas mileage. Not a car to pick up chicks with.:0)==-)

i have had this car for over 7 yrs, bought it used, love love love it. my only complaint is the non-tinted at the top windshield because of the glare. so i keep the sun visors down a lot. its plenty peppy enough for me, and quiet. and, the 3 driving modes make it fun and still keeps mpg great.

Wow what an amazing car buying experience at Hertz Car Sales - Torrance with Tammy Watkins helping us buy 2 excellent condition and low mileage 2016 Toyota Camry's. Me and my family have been researching for the best car deals for months now and finally a place to buy cars without issues. We tried going the private seller route and even going to car dealerships around town, but it was a big waste of time since other dealers have high pressure sales and hidden charges such as dealership fees or accessory fees. Then we had the issue of private sellers not being upfront honest about their car's history or actual ownership of the car. Just to many obstacles getting a good deal with them private sellers and other dealerships. The best thing I like about buying our cars here was that the prices are listed upfront and their is no haggling, no pressure, and no hidden fees. Plus the cars we bought come with a 12-month/12,000 Mile Limited Power Train Warranty. We went to Hertz Car Sales - Torrance 3 different days in order to purchase 2 cars from them. The first day we just drove onto the lot and started walking around looking at the cars and were greeted in a friendly manner by a Hertz Representative named by Tammy Watkins. She was very knowledgeable about the cars we were interested in and offered us to test drive the cars. We ended up test driving several cars that day and Tammy was very patient with us and did not pressure us at all. We told her we like the cars and would come back with a mechanic another day to test drive and inspect the cars. Then we came back on a 3rd day to finalize all the financial, DMV, and warranty paper work to purchase both cars. Overall I want to thank Tammy Watkins and the rest of the Hertz Car Sales - Torrance team that helped our family buy 2 cars in the same week. I just retired and got my XLE 7 months ago. I was lucky to get it. Someone else decided to pass on it. I have some upgrades like the 12 inch screen and glass top. I would have never purchased a Pruis before this new model. So far, I absolutely love it. I don’t drive it like a sports car, so I am getting 53.5 to 54,5 mpg. It is amazing to spend $12 dollars on gas every two weeks instead of $30 to $40 every week like I use to. I really love the design. I have cutting edge silver. It isn’t quite as luxurious as other cars I have had but that wasn’t why I purchased it. I think it can last me the rest of my life.

I recently traded in a 2013 Toyota Prius C for this car, a 2025 Prius LE AWD in guardian grey. I loved my old car so I was interested in sticking with the prius and I'm glad I did. They've upgraded this car in so many ways and it is truly fun to drive now. Pros: -Upgraded engine. This engine has more than double the power of the old engines and it makes a huge difference without hurting the fuel economy at all. It makes this car super fun to drive and it handles very well. -Improved styling. These cars don't look anything like the old priuses. They look so much sportier and overall better. I also really liked most of the color options they had. -Value and reliability. The new priuses provide better power combined with the same great fuel economy that prius has become known for. I regularly get 60 mpg. They also aren't very expensive comparatively. I also know that as long as I take care of it I will likely get at least 12 years out of this car like I did with my last prius. Cons: -Not a lot of headroom. Technically speaking, this car has comparable headroom with it's main competitor, the Honda Civic Hybrid, but with the design of the car (long and low) it feels like less. This isn't an issue for me but I can see how it would be an issue for others. -Decreased visibility. Again, because the car is long and low, the windows have slightly decreased visibility compared to earlier generations of this car. I think the safety features in this car more than make up for it so I don't really have an issue with it. -Cheaper materials. The plastic pieces in the interior of the car feel a little bit cheaper and flimsier than they did in my old prius. It's not enough to be a huge issue and the interior is well designed so I don't really notice it but there is a difference. However this is something I noticed in all of the cars that I tested so it's not limited to this model or brand. Overall, this is a great car and I'm very happy with it!
