Used Toyota Sequoia for sale near Lake Elmo, MN

I have now purchased two vehicles from Adam at Walser Toyota and couldn't recommend him enough. I even sent a family member to purchase a Tacoma from him too! The process was easy and straight forward, and they were able to track down both vehicles that I wanted. Service was also quick when both times I've serviced there they finished the service before the time that was stated when I arrived.

I am a fan of Toyotas and this new Sequoia hits all the buttons for style performance & technology yeah it’s a little pricey but compared to the other big SUVs in the market, I think it’s reasonable.

Chris Holt was a great salesperson. He was very professional and answered all our questions, any answers he didn't know, he went and got the answers. We couldn't be more happy with the experience. I hate buying vehicles but he made it very pleasant.

We bought this with 21k on it. It's a really stylish looking ride. We understood the rear cargo issues folks are having when we bought the vehicle. It works fine for us. The car came with a tow hitch and we have a carrier for that area to hall extra luggage. The fuel economy doesn't compare to the ratings given by the manufacturer, but for the size and power of the car it's quite good. We average 18 to 19 all the way around.. The car rides great for it's size and is very comfortable and the seats are very spacious. So far we are very pleased with this car. One note. Every person in the reviews talks of wind noise at 55MPH. It surely is a problem Toyota needs to look into. We like the car so much that we are willing to overlook this one issue. BUT it is a real issue. This is where the luxury of the car disappears.

Great place for high quality used vehicles. Great customer service and gorgeous facility. You don’t have to buy a $200k car to be treated very well here. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Ask for Josh he’s great.

So far I am very pleased with performance and comfort. It meets all my needs. I can haul passengers and /or cargo, without sacrificing comfort.

2024 Sequoia Platinum.....We love it!! ( although not necessarily the hefty price tag!!!!) It has Plenty of power, lots of bells and whistles and very comfortable and safe. Advertised Gas milage advertised seems a little deceiving, but all in all a great vehicle!! Lots of fun to drive.

I live in Sioux Falls and recently purchased a 2022 Toyota Highlander from Walser. I had never purchased a vehicle before that I had not seen or driven. Phillip Sosin walked me through the steps needed to complete this process in a very thorough and polite manner. Not being a (techie) I was worried but everything worked out. I couldn't be more pleased with the vehicle other than I have yet to figure out all of the electronics which my grand kids have been helping me do. Bought a Honda Pilot with 300k miles. Still driving it 2 yrs later. Not a single breakdown. Heading to buy another car this week. I see all the negative reviews. They sell used cars. You the buyer should know what to look for.

My 2014 is the 2nd sequoia owned, actually loved the 2002 I had better (slightly smaller). It would be great to have a removable 2nd row center console w optional purchase bench seat. I?d buy it to make it a 8 seater.

Very pleasant and helpful. Curtious , patient, and a place I’d like to do business at, if I could travel to the Minneapolis area. Unfortunately it didn’t work out. I was able to purchase locally. 150 miles closer. Would consider purchasing in the future. Thank you!

Josh Hartigan had absolutely terrible customer service. You should absolutely try to avoid him. He was incredibly rude during the entire financial process. It seemed like he was upset I didn't take his loan insurance offer that would give him commission. I expected Luther Toyota to hire better employees for a more friendly experience. Cheer up Josh, come on. Dave Thomas was a great guy! I loved my experience with him, and he made the process very smooth. I got the car that I liked and he didn't try to sell me anything extra on top. Class act. Superb service. Friendly guy. Bottom line: ask for Dave, avoid Josh.

My issue with this car is not the car itself. It’s the Toyota dealers that have them. (WHEN) These ROACHES think they found a Diamond they have no disgrace. They add 10k to the already overstimulated price tag. A Toyota (doesn’t matter which kind) should not cost $80k, $85k, $90k, $95k dollars! It’s disgusting. When paying nearly $100 thousand dollars. I’d rather a S class. I really would, I’m sorry. These prices are just absurd. And the reliability on a twin turbo hybrid engine? You gotta be out of your mind. After 120k miles. Run for your lives. Toyota is no longer Toyota. I am sorry to say.

Excellent service and the sales staff is NOT pushy at all. We bought a 2024 Rav4 Hybrid with 16,000 miles from Maplewood toyota. A 100,000 mile warranty on the drive train automatically came with the vehicle. For a surprisingly small fee, we purchased another 100,000 mile warranty that covered the electronics and everything else in the vehicle. The salesman (Vic) went through the entire vehicle with us and made sure that we understood how everything works. With all of the electronics, this was extremely helpful. Vic took his time and answered every question we had. Vic introduced us to many other departments at the dealership and they were also very nice. Everyone at Maplewood Toyota was extremely knowledgeable in their department. I will definitely be a returning customer.

I was in the market for a Jeep Grand Cherokee and from the start Ryan Pettit, a sales specialist there, was on top of things. I initially received a personalized video acknowledging that they received my inquiry. I was able to communicate back and forth with questions and Ryan put up with this for about a week and a half. Ryan was very down to earth, not pushy, and very honest about the cars we talked about and I couldn’t appreciate that more. Would I go back and get another car from here? Absolutely. Ryan had so much of the process already completed by the time I got there, which was amazing. It was a super easy experience and it was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Well, its been 3 months and I finally love this car, my black TRD Sequoia called 'Dahkness'. There are a few frustrations, and I am still overwhelmingly and increasingly thrilled. At first I was a little 'whatever' or 'its okay', but now I am actually pumped. She's grown on my despite some of her silliness. I have read a bunch of reviews and this is my first Toyota, so I have no basis for what other vehicles in their line-up handle like, but I'm overall happy with the handling, acceleration, and style in general. It drives like a truck, which I expected and can't complain at all. Although I have the TRD, I still think she is a much more family oriented car than an off-road legend. This thing does have an epic driver's screen that makes every other car you drive seem puny. I came out of a LWB Range Rover so I lost my massage seats and a couple other cool bells, so anyways, I don't think the seats are very posh for a really expensive car, but I suppose they aren't uncomfortable. Also coming from a Range Rover, a way more expensive vehicle that everything breaks on, this Sequoia is going extremely smoothly. No issues of any kind. The bad: -WHY THE xxxx did you all ditch the rear gate window that everyone loved! Now we have a glass hatch... horray - Mileage economy is criminally overstated - the 3rd row seat is completely useless and makes the rear storage also dismal and dysfunctional - The 'amazing' JBL system... actually stands for Just Below Lousy. Cranked alllllll the way up you can clearly hear the person next to you speaking softly. That shouldn't happen. I ripped it out the 2nd week I owned it and now I LOVE my sound system. - Dealer got 10k over sticker - I still don't have my second key in the mail yet, because somehow Toyota couldn't keep up with the key demand for new vehicles and new cars only come with one until supply recovers Don't buy this car if you have 4 or 5 children, don't get this vehicle because of it's advertised MPG economy, and don't get this because you think the JBL sound system will be impressive... Get this car because it is easy to drive, safe, reliable, and because you want to spoil yourself a little every time you start the car, without driving something as garish as a Range Rover. I'd change a couple things, but nobody gets everything. I love it.

Well thought-out design, inside and out. Reliable in snow and desert heat. Towing trailers is barely noticeable. Spacious and comfortable for long trips. Couldn't choose better!

Overall a pleasant experience, Jeremiah and Poe were both extremely helpful and answered all our questions and concerns. We never felt pressured to make a decision or felt like we were being rushed. Additionally, they had the entire process streamlined and were able to get everything done rather quickly once we had made our decision.

I have owned a lot of trucks in my life, and I am a loyal Toyota fan. The Sequoia was my first half ton Toyota truck. Purchased my 2016 Sequoia SR5 used in 2021 at 81,000. It is now a week away from 2025 and 156,000. This truck is a beast and I love it. Purchased to haul the family around and tow a small horse trailer. I couldn't be happier with her. Tons of leg room, incredible reliability, comfortable for long trips, tows like it's her business, and she never disappoints. We have only needed to invest typical maintenance / upkeep expenses and tires. Sure, the gas mileage could be better, but it's the expected gas mileage for comparable engines across all manufacturers. The only annoying thing is the Toyota 'rattle' that is common with several models. The license plate sometimes rattles and the noise is annoying (throw some foam strips under the license plate to fix). The 2016 model year is a solid truck.

This car is just what we needed! Lots of space and leg room. Not much “trunk” space and pretty terrible gas mileage, but we knew what we were getting and get that the benefits outweighed those 2 issues.
